MBA in Banking and Finance Management - Batch of 2017

The infrastructure and facilities provided by the college are perfect but placements are not good.
Placements: The percentage of students who got placed was only 40%. The university does not provide any placements. The highest package offered was only 3 Lacs rupees. The top role offered by companies were analyst, manager, sales manager, etc. The internship was not provided by colleges. The students found internships for themselves.
Infrastructure: The university provides all the facilities such as free wi-fi, library, airconditioned classrooms and sports area to play football, basketball, etc. The quality of the food was pathetic. The food was not fresh and mostly it was made bland. The hostels were well built.
Faculty: The teachers were qualified and knowledgeable. The curriculum was taught according to the industry standards and was done to help the students make job-ready. The semester exams were pretty difficult and those who did not study regularly found it difficult to pass the exams. The pass percentage in the college was 33 percent.

I am satisfied because of the really good infrastructure and facilities provided by college.
Placements: Almost 80% of our senior batch students got placed during the 3rd semester. The highest salary package offered is 10.50 LPA. The average salary package offered for the 2016-2018 batch is around 7 LPA. The average salary package for the 2017-2019 batch is yet to be disclosed as some of the students are yet to get placed.
Infrastructure: Our college has one of the best campuses in India. It has all the facilities for different sports such as squash, badminton, cricket, football, etc. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled. A LAN cable is also provided in the hostel to access internet.
Faculty: Many visiting faculty members who have expert knowledge in the field visit the campus. They also have vast experience in the corporate world. The course curriculum is also based on the current industry requirements. Guest lectures are scheduled to get a different perspective on topics.
Other: The campus is on the hill, but it has bus services working all day to take students to the city and back.

Worth 3 years of investment.
Placements: The college placements had a figure of around only 50-60% students placed, since the rest of the students either pursued their Masters or applied through external sources for their placements. Tata Capital, Nomura, Foxymoron, are few of the companies who had come for the college placements. Since the batch was of fresh graduates, the roles offered were either sales or junior analysts, under their respective managers. Internships were completed by the students through their own sources and not through college.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are well equipped with Air Conditioners, Projectors, comfortable chairs and tables. The library is always kept updated. The canteen was decent with different variety of food served. There is a coffee stall with snacks available too on the college floor. And because of such comfortable environment, there wasn't any issue in the three years of our college there.
Faculty: The faculty were well aware about the course curriculum, which helped us gain the thorough knowledge of the business world. We had Industrial Visits too, which were done basis few of the faculties' connections in the industry. With each assignment, presentations and projects, the faculty had always been supportive and guided us throughout, which helped us to become worth a part of the corporate world.

Great Infrastructure and Facilities!
Placements: The college didn't have campus placement for B.com.
Infrastructure: The college has state of the art facilities. It has a huge library which is always updated with the latest books. The classrooms are air-conditioned and well maintained and also well equipped with the comfortable needs of both, the students and faculty. The canteen has an appetizing and pocket-friendly food menu for the students. Many fests are also organised throughout the year.
Faculty: The faculty has rich teaching experience. They are very friendly and approachable and always willing to help students with any doubts or difficulties. They maintained a balance between classwork and homework. We were also given some assignments for internal evaluation.

Other: The college has a beautiful campus to walk to and fro to the college from the hostel. It is a vehicle free campus with good Wi-Fi connectivity at almost all the needed areas. The college infrastructure is commendable and the faculty works at their best to get the students ready for the corporate world. We also do have some extraordinary facilities with regard to the extra-curricular like gym, Zumba (for the people who love dancing), yoga (for all those figure conscious) and many more to add to the facilities. The students are encouraged to play sports of their choices and pursue their interests in their free time. Mess is pretty much the same as all the colleges have to offer, but we do get some kind of variety and we do look forward for the sweet dishes. Last, not to forget the placements for which we are here, the placement offering is average (as per the inside information).

Other: The campus is one of the best but placements are not up to the expectations. Lot of students get their internships themselves so lot of fancy names in the list. Over all it’s a good institute, if you want to learn. It really builds personality as well as make you outperform but if you want a job with fancy packages better it’s better to join some other college. Work culture is nice and average package is about Rs. 5.5 lakhs. This year placements have improved and I also got placed. Hope the trend will continue. But on serious note join it if you are willing to study and rest will follow. SYMBIOSIS is a brand and yes it has an impact.
