Better but not best. I will place this college in top 20 in Karnataka.

Placements: I just completed 1st year in the branch computer Science and engineering and the placement are good enough compared to other colleges, in Tumkur except SIT and also better than most of the colleges in Bangalore, also like MVJ college of engineering Bangalore and est West like colleges and its all about our college.

Inside story of Sri Siddhartha Institute Of Technology .

Placements: The placement in our college is not good; they don't bring the MNC companies. Also, I am a 2024 batch passout; they have only given the 2 IT sector companies in 2024, but they concentrate more on internships; they provide more opportunities to the students in internship criteria.

Good College with good infrastructure .

Placements: The CSE course currently has a good scope. However, the placements are not good as the placement cell was inactive throughout the year. The total placements are also not good, with a low placement percentage. Very few companies came to hire from our college. The highest package was around 12 LPA and the TCS offered 3.2 LPA to 60 plus students.

Over all it is good college.

Placements: About 30% of students are placed but all are from the CS branch. For the civil branch, it's good but placement is less. So if you really want to join engineering then join CS because it offers many opportunities.

I am satisfied with the course curriculum and good infrastructure.

Placements: The highest salary package offered was 9 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Cognizant, Westline, etc., visit our campus for placements. Students got an internship in electronic companies like Analog Devices, Semicode, etc. About 50% of the students from our course got placed.

Our college infrastructure is good, and the teachers are friendly, but placements must be increased.

Placements: Only 2% of the students from our course got placed. Core companies don't visit our college for placements. The highest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. None of the companies visits here for mechanical engineering. TCS is the only company which recruit students from our college. The top roles in our course are offered in the IT sector. I don't know about the highest, lowest and average salary packages offered in our course. Mechanical students were not placed. About 40% of the students got inte...

Since last 5 to 6 years the major changes are made. But still many improvement required.

Placements: As placement is concerned, it is a bit low compared to other colleges in State capital-Bangalore, which is just 70 km away from Tumkur. But in Tumkur our college stands second in placement. It is improving every year, like last year only 10% were placed, this year it has been increased to 25%.

The library is awesome, and the surroundings of the campus are really good.

Placements: Companies like TCS, SLK, Go Speedy Go have visited campus. Around 50 students from the 2017-2018 batch were placed in TCS, and 10 students from 2018-19 batch were placed. The highest salary package offered was 3.3 LPA. We have a placement cell, and they train the students for the placements from the 6th semester.

Students excel in Sri Siddhartha Institute of Technology (SSIT, Tumkur).

Placements: Till last year, TCS was the mass recruiter. As of now, some start-ups are visiting to hire skilled students. The average salary package offered was 4.2 LPA, and the highest was 7 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was around 3.5 LPA. The percentage of placements is less as a majority of the students don't have basic criteria to apply for placements.

Highly appreciable infrastructure.

Placements: The placements were average. But many companies came for placement in the current session. The placement cell is helpful and brings more and more opportunities. The placement cell has MOU with TCS and many other MNCs also come for placement. The job fair is also organized.

It is a student-friendly college.

Placements: The college offers good placements. Many students have got best jobs in good companies. Good placement training is provided by the best trainers. Most of the students have succeeded in placement. The placement department is working efficiently, providing good training for students.

Dissatisfied with placements, good infrastructure, good faculty and good facilities.

Placements: The placements were not up to the mark. Only about 30% students were placed. Only about 4 to 5 companies have visited the college. The highest salary offered is 3.36 LPA by TCS. Students have done their internship outside the college. The college doesn't provide any internship offers.

Good college to learn and gain the knowledge but, no value for the deemed to be certificate.

Placements: Only, a few companies came to recruit the students. Only 10% to 20% of the students got placed. Reputed companies will come each year, and they will heir the selected students. There are no placements for hardware field (or) core fields. As this is deemed to be universities, we will have lesser options. In Naukri.com, they used to reject our certificates because of that deemed university.

Vision-based college, has a lead over 25 years of teaching field, and it upgraded to deemed college.

Placements: More than 200 students got placed. The package ranges from 1.2-6 lakhs per annum. From the BPO to the Hi-Tech, all the companies are visiting the campus for the placements. You could have the best engineering life. They teach with the different training classes, and the college faculty will give the training.

Satisfied with the campus library, and faculty. The placements are falling down year by year.

Placements: The placement is falling down year by year in 2015. The placements were very good, i.e. about 80%, but after that, it was reduced, and now its even reached lower of about 30-40%. The college is trying their best to visit the companies on campus. The visited companies include Wipro, TCS, etc.

Satisfied with infrastructure & faculty-student relationship, but not with the placement.

Placements: The placement for 2013 batch is not up to the mark, but the placement for senior batches of 2012 and 2011 is good because the college for those batches was autonomous. 10% of students were able to get a job. The highest salary they offered was Rs. 4 lakhs pa. TCS is the one company that visited. No internship was offered by the college.

Satisfied only to some extent.

Placements: The placements are okay. You can't expect the best companies all the time in this college. You can expect only two or three good companies to be there. Later, some startup companies visit. In my batch, a large number of students are placed in TCS (around 81), because it is the only mass recruiter. The average salary offered is around 3.3 lacs per annum. The companies that visit every year include TCS, IBM, L&T, and some startup companies. The roles commonly offered are software jobs.

Decrement of placement compared to previous batches.

Placements: Placement is for only IT sectors. No placements for core. These days, the demand for software engineers is more, so they got placed and rest of the students are struggling for a job. But the students from any branch can get a job in software industries.

It's not good college in terms of placements.

Placements: In our course, no one was placed. The lowest salary package offered was 1.2 LPA, and the highest was 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Infosys, TCS, Accenture, etc. About 100% of students got internships at many reputed companies. Top role offered was junior engineer.

This is a good college for students who live in Tumkur.

Placements: In our college, almost 60% of students were placed. The highest salary package offered was 6 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Flipkart, Amazon, etc., visited our campus. Almost 50% of students got internships in this program. Computer knowledge and programming skills were required to get many roles in our college.
