SSN MBA Courses & Fees 2024: Eligibility, Application, Selection Process

VIT Vellore is ranked 17 and SSNCE at 80 under the “overall” category in the NIRF 2023 rankings. The MBA fee in SSNCE is INR 35,000 and for VIT MBA is INR 6.97 lakh. Hence, the VIT is a better SSN in terms of ranking. But the fee is more economical at SSN College of Engineering. Admission under this category in SSN is entrance-based. Candidates who have passed either of the accepted exams with the required score become eligible for admission. The accepted entrance exams along with the required percentile are:

• CAT/XAT/CMAT > 60 percentile
• MAT/ATMA > 80 percentile
• TANCET/Other State Level Admission Tests > 80 percentile

There are various components added in the total SSN MBA fee, including tuition fee, admission fee, security deposit, etc. The fee for two-year MBA is INR 35,000. This includes tuition fee and some other components as well. Moreover, the mentioned fee is as per the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA). For admission to the Management quota, the selection is done based on the applicants academic performance and admission test. Shortlisted candidates are further required to participate in group discussion, personal interview, and an essay. The final selection is done based on cumulative score in all the selection rounds. Candidates seeking admission who have passed Class 10, Class 12, and UG courses with at least 60% aggregate are eligible for admission to the MBA course. In addition, there should be no arrears during the UG course of study. However, candidates with up to two arrears can apply, but the selection in such a case shall be at the discretion of the institute. Candidate must also hold the academic certificates (original/copies) required for verification purposes.
