The college has a really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: There are many roles offered in the course and many companies like The times of India, The hindu, media channel's, people from the industry hire people from the college as they need freshers with some minimal experience which is provided by the students.
Infrastructure: The food in the canteen, the medical facilities, sports and games are all excellent. The facilities and infrastructure of the college for mass communication and journalism is excellent as there is a studio both filming studio and studio where all the equipment is kept and the filming studio is managed from this studio. The equipment provided by the college is very nice and helps the students get a grasp of the equipment when they go to the industry.
Faculty: The teachers and all the other faculty members in the campus are highly qualified and knowledgeable and do teach in a way where the student knows and understands the concepts. It makes the students ready for the industry in such an amazing way that students become well setter in their lives.
Other: I chose this course as I love content writing, video editing and photography and this course in this college provided all of that. I think the course can be improved by more and more practical sessions and practical knowledge by visiting field visits but as due to covid these were also limited, but a slight change in it will be helpful but as of now the college and the course that offers is amazing, even the slightest of the field visits and practical knowledge has helped me till now.

The course curriculum of mass communication and the infrastructure are excellent.
Placements: There are multiple media houses and organizations such as Thomson Reuters, Radio Mirchi and many others. More than 50% of students got internships. The top roles offered are journalists, assistant directors (tentative), and associate content analysts.
Infrastructure: The mass communication department has a screening room, audio and visual lab, and a green MAT studio. The classrooms are equipped with projectors as well, and libraries have the necessary course material. The canteen provides quality food, and the classrooms are well organised.
Faculty: The teachers are extremely helpful, knowledgeable and qualified. The teaching quality is excellent with teachers having a lot of experience. The course curriculum is relevant, and we have hands-on experience with cameras, audio production, video production, reporting and research. The semester exams are relatively easy and are generally relevant to the course. The pass percentage is more than 90%.
Other: I chose this course as St. Joseph's offers one of the best course structures in mass communication in Hyderabad. The best thing about my course is how much field experience students receive. The college has a lot of fests and extracurricular activities, mainly Josephiesta, Commerce and Cinevolution.

It is one of the best college for commerce in Hyderabad.
Placements: I completed my graduation from this college in 2019 in B.A. mass communication and journalism. This course comes in department of mass communication. The course is of 3 years which has fees of 2.5L for 3 years when I did it increases every year. The course doesn't have so much practical done in the college. There are no placement for mass communication students if they provide also they provide content writing job which no body wants to do. The course provides lot of exposure but this college doesn't give that much to the student. The most importance is given to commerce students.
Infrastructure: The college is old building but very great structure you feel like high school environment. The college has their own studio which has green croma sheet in studio equipped VCR and working cameras. For mass communication students they have separate computer lab which has 25 mac's for editing and has all software in it. All the classes are smart class. The college doesn't have hostel but has canteen. Wi-Fi is provided in college for free of cost. There is basketball court but no one play in it.
Faculty: Not teachers are qualified to teach they just come to class and present there PPT but it's all bookish nothing interactive session. There are some teachers who are very professional and have worked in big organizations they teach according to the market but not all teachers. The teachers are friendly and very helpful and very open minded people in mass communication department then other departments in the college. Curriculum is very old style nothing according to the market like very bookish not that much of practical involved. But they take students to studio to see shoots or be part of it. When I was there they took us to Anapurna studio.
Other: I choose it because it was something different in the market so I was very curious to see what this course was about so I joined it. The best thing about the course is built your confidence to be a public speaker and you get to learn everything what happens front and back of camera. From production to how to present front of camera. The department has its feet cinievloution and college fest is josephista which is huge fast. There are scholarships provided to students. Extracurricular activities are conducted every month like rangoli, debate, writing, dancing, singing competitions. And end of the year there is JSR conducted where we go to orphanage or old age home to serve them.

Experience and journey in St. Joseph's.
Placements: In mass comm, do not depend on placements because no companies come to hire. But for B.Com students it's great since a lot of MNCs come and many of them GET placed. As a mass comm student you'll have better chance of earning a job based on your credentials.
Infrastructure: Nothing great about the infrastructure. A standard building with two computer labs, a well established library and a recording as well as editing and screening studio for mass comm batch with Apple I-mac PCs with the necessary software available for work.
Faculty: The faculty has a lot of contacts. For ex, in the B.A. course, the teachers will keep you informing about job offers, placements and openings for internship in the media industry. One thing you need to be wary of is the attendance since they are very strict about it during the time of exams otherwise you end up paying condonation money to appear in exams.
Other: The college organizes many successful events every year that are inter college which attracts students from other well known colleges also.

St. Joseph's is a good college but fees is very high and they are strict about attendance.
Placements: In B.A. (MCJ) course, the college will not be useful in getting you placements but it is ideal for someone who will be taking courses like B.Com since the college attracts placements and interviews from major MNCs. In B.A. you will be required to do an internship in the final semester of the final year which will be useful in getting experience.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is pretty standard, nothing great. Classrooms are fine with projectors but the computers connected to these projectors are bad since they have lot of virus in it. The library is good, lots of books available for all courses. Mass Com studio is good with Apple I-Mac monitors present for editing.
Faculty: If you select mass com, the faculty happens to have lots of information about other colleges and the industry. They will come in useful when internship is to be done in the final year since they will be getting notifications about openings and placements in the media industry.
Other: Lots of competitions, fests and events are organized every year which attracts students from other colleges as well.

Being a student from the college I am totally satisfied.
Placements: College offers placements from different companies. Companies offers with good salary package. Companies like Dell, Amazon visited our college. Roles are offered based on their stream of education. The highest stipend was 9000 and the lowest was 4000. 60 percent of the students were placed in different companies.
Infrastructure: College provides every thing that a student requires. Our college have computer lab, library, studio for mass communication and journalism, audio visual lab, psychology lab, Science lab etc. Classrooms are well maintained with smart projectors and we even have sports facility.
Faculty: Faculty were so helpful throughout the college and they are well qualified, knowledgeable. The ratio of student and teacher is 30:1. Our stream teachers taught us in various methods by using projectors, by group discussion. And we also have practical session method for our education.
Other: We have fests like cine evolution, josephiesta, and many other events. There are scholarship facility for some students. We also have some field trips.
