About B.Voc. in Digital Media and Animation course.
Placements: The placement cell is not available. The course requires students to do an internship during the last semester to gain experience and usually, it ends up in a full-time job for the students. Faculty members help students with recommendations that are required while finding a job.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are spacious. There are studios for subjects like sound design, animation, film appreciation, and other practical subjects. There is also a canteen for all the students and staff members, which has everything from juice to proper lunch.
Faculty: The course offers a diverse range of subjects making it ideal for those students who are unsure about what to specialise in. Faculty members are very knowledgeable and approachable. They are even available for students outside the classroom. The course curriculum is relevant to the industry.

It provides excellent teaching, great campus, lots of events, and is affordable.
Placements: I am currently studying in this course, and our internships have not happened yet. I will be giving it an average score for now, as some seniors have obtained placements. Animation will be more difficult to get easy placements with internships, and it will require a lot of skill and work. Several of the top roles offered are as 2D animators, 3D animators, UI and UX designers, VFX artists, and VR/AR artists.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is great and the quality of campus is amazing. Facilities, specifically the Wi-Fi and free internet provided are very fast. Classrooms are clean and the library is huge with a lab next to it. It is well-kept and a great place to work after class hours, and also has more than a thousand books, with several stories as well as a lot of study materials. There are three available canteens, and all with great food at affordable prices. I have not availed any medical facilities and I am not involved in sports and games. But I have heard from other classmates of mine that it is quite good, and they have no complaints.
Faculty: In my personal opinion, the best part of the course is the staff and teachers. They are very competent and knowledgeable about the subjects. They are qualified and the learning methods are proper, but also involved and enjoyable. I would deeply recommend this college solely for how well we get to learn. The course teaches a large variety of software and skills, ranging from digital art to branding to 3D modeling. It allows a student to pick a specific option from whatever they have learned, and join the industry of their choice. The syllabus is well-handled, with very few subjects being outdated, and all the things we are taught about are very relevant in the industry. I am someone who has spent a lot of time in the animation industry and even worked in some parts of it. This course is definitely very useful. Semester exams are quite average in terms of difficulty, projects are the main work to do. The projects are important but sometimes time-consuming.
Other: I chose this course B.Voc Digital Media and Animation wanting to pursue animation further, specifically 2D animation. However, I did not initially want to enter this college, thinking I could manage alone with self-learning since I had been studying and pursuing animation for so long. Having entered St. Joseph's University has changed my mind. It is very affordable and the course teaches several things that an animator simply cannot learn all by themselves. It has quickly made me realize how important proper learning for this subject is. The course is very busy with a lot of work, but that could be a good or a bad thing depending on our preference, though it still leaves us with quite a bit of free time. Animation is a subject where it is very important to have skills and a good portfolio. We will not last in the industry if we simply rely on a degree. It is competitive and relies on hard work, and only 16% of those in the industry have jobs with a degree. Getting the skill and work from being in this course is good for that reason, even if placements are not very good. Most animators go from studio to studio, and staying in one place for more than 3 years is rare. I would recommend it if students are passionate about the subject. There are a lot of events happening, it seems almost on a daily. If we want to be involved on campus life a lot, then I would highly recommend this place. The campus is big and open and there are several stalls with events by the students every day. Overall, I was happy with the choice to join here.

    Good college for students.
Placements: Right now exams are going on so we didn't placements yet. As I said our course didn't get placements yet but then from other course students got package around 50L and this package got for a guy in computer Science. -technicolor, mpc and other companies but then in our it's a professional course we gotta find the company for ourself. I believe most of them got internship by now. Top roles would be 3d animator, 2d animators, VR and AR development.
Infrastructure: We have the world class quality when it comes to infrastructure of college. Thye provided everything neat and tidy, affordable price for food items is the best we have best grounds and auditorium in our college and also college best canteen which give best food.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and friendly with everyone they all teach in English and if have any doubts we could reach them out any time we need. Curriculum doesn't prepare student of the industry because we need to have more etiquettes to learn and improve our skills in specific software and this is only applicable for animation student I don't know about other courses. Semesters exams are quite difficult than normal exams we need to study everyone important aspects of the subjects because questions can be asked from anywhere from subjects. Pass percentage is good for college .
Other: I chose this course because I already have Diploma in animation but then I need to improve and study more about animation and also I needed degree for course. In my course I would like to have more time to learn and improve because amount of topic to learn is more but not enough time to do it. Before covid pandemic we used to have one event in a week or every day they is so many association and clubs to join to and this communities organise events and fest in college.

The course includes all the basic aspects of film making which made me choose it.
Placements: Masterclasses are held by the film industry personalities. There is a chance of them liking your working style and calling you directly with an opportunity. Our works are analysed and evaluated by industry professionals. They provide us with the best quality technical education.
Infrastructure: The college has the best infrastructure and all modern facilities. A very good library is available. All the classrooms are well-ventilated to a very good extent. They make sure the corridors and classrooms are fully clean and hygienic. The washrooms are the cleanest. The canteens are also clean.
Faculty: The department of film-making has the best HOD who is not only helpful for us but also guides us through the entire course and different aspects and the process of film-making. The lecturers are well-trained in their particular subjects and have industry experience.
Other: This course covers all the basic aspects of film-making and media production. This made me choose this course, by which I am able to concentrate on my core subject plus all the other basic subjects which are required partially.

It's Not a Waste of Money.
Placements: The number of students placed is 79%. We got to do internships and attend workshops. There was no company placement. 65% got to do internships. Assistant film director. Your placement and future path in this college will be great and successful.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, classrooms, library, labs, and canteen were good. Hostel people could enjoy happily. The maintenance and the campus were too good. You also have the NCC option to go, so it's the best choice with multiple options and a clear way toward your goal. It teaches you a lot.
Faculty: Yes, teachers will guide you and show extra support to you. The teaching at SJU will be the best in comparison with any other college, so it's a clear type of selection for your future goal. It also has workshops built, so you will learn a lot.
