Review for the BE in computer science from the St. Peter's College of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: At our college, 40–45% of the students in the computer science course get placements. The average package offered in our course was between 3 and 4 LPAs. Our college placements cell tried up with various companies for on-campus placements drives. Most of the students gets placed at TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Colgate, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of St. Peter's College was good enough for computer science engineering. Computer labs were available on the college campus for the students coding practices. Library, canteen, hostel, sports, etc. facilities were also available for the students on campus. The facilities were of good quality.
Faculty: The teaching quality at St. Peter's College of Engineering and Technology was very good. All the professors at our college were helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum at the college makes students industry-ready and relevant. Medium-difficulty-level exams were conducted in this college for the CSE.

The quality of teaching is very good .
Placements: Most of the students are placed in high-paying fields; otherwise, the lowest package is INR 15k; the highest package consists of INR 40k; mostly above 70% of students get placed in most of the companies; internships are very useful to joining the high-paying fields.
Infrastructure: Each department has unique labs, a unique library, and smart room classes are available in all departments. Food-wise, their food quality is average because they do not have a proper food facility in the college, and the water facility is not good.
Faculty: Every student got good placement with well-reputed and renowned companies; the curriculum was excellent. The college provides a better internship for a better future and experience. They have faculty members who are educated, and knowledge and experienced, and they are very helpful.
Other: I was very interested in computer science, so I joined the engineering group at the college.

Nice college and you can join but we have to look ourselves for our placements.
Placements: May be 50% of students were placed. I'm not sure about the highest package but the lowest will be 120,000 per year. Companies like TCS, Infosys, HCL and many more came for placements. Many of the students had taken internship from many firms like Microslabs, Chennai Breweries, etc.
Infrastructure: The college has all labs as per the Anna University syllabus, but most of the faculty does know how to handle the equipment. Has a chemical simulation lab. Thermodynamic has mechanical engineering labs, programming labs and professional communication labs among many other facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified but many of them are not well prepared when taking classes and many of them are unable to solve our doubts. We can get notes during semester exams but they are also limited. We need to find extra resources by ourselves. We need to prepare ourselves.
Other: The college has a lot of events and extracurricular activities.

I am not satisfied with this college because of its faculty members.
Placements: Almost 50 students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 4.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Cognizant, Deloitte, TCS, Hexaware, and Virtusa. Almost 50% of students got internships. The top role offered is a software developer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is average. A small playground is available in our college. Labs are good. The Wi-Fi facility is good. Benches are old. The food served in the hostel is not good. The hostel is not worth the money paid. Wardens won't stay in the hostel. The hostel security doesn't let students out without the warden's signature.
Faculty: Some faculty members are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Some faculty members won't teach well. We won't understand it properly. They try to complete the syllabus very fast. They won't make students industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult.
Other: Our college had good placements in 2010.

You are welcome to join this college.
Placements: Placements are poor at this time. When I studied there, some companies came for placements. Nowadays, my friends and juniors tell me that placements are very, very poor. Most of the time, only consultancy kind of people are placed, not direct placements.
Infrastructure: Good hostel, nice food for South Indian dishes like Idly, dosa, puri, Pongal, rice, sambar, rasam, non-veg like chicken and fish. Morning and evening tea and coffee are available, along with snacks in the evening like bonda, bhaji, samosa, sundal, and steamed groundnut. Every night there is a tiffin like chapati, paratha, idli, and fried rice or egg rice.
Faculty: The college schedule is like school education, with 8 AM to 4 PM college time and Saturday being a half-day. Every Monday and Saturday, there is a unit test for each subject taught by the staff according to the syllabus. The test is conducted in the first two periods of Monday and Saturday. At the end of the semester, the internal marks are calculated based on the unit tests.
