The college has a sports club and fairly good placements.

Placements: Placements were fairly good. The college had a great placement cell. Students were with great potential and were doing extremely well. Companies of all domain came to the campus. 75% of the students got placed. CS branch had the highest placement rates and mechanical branch had least.

Satisfied with all aspects in SVPCET.

Placements: The placements offered to the students were good enough. A lot of companies came for the campus selection this year for the 4th year students. Also, many of my seniors got placed in different companies. The companies like Tech Mahindra, Infotech, Infoysis, etc. come for the campus selection. Also, in our college, the special T&P department is there for the placement and development of the students.

The best disciplined college of Nagpur University.

Placements: Overall, the placement here is quite good, but currently, from our department, i.e., from the computer engineering only 7 people's are placed until now in different companies, and many students are still trying for other companies. The students who got placed here get a package of 4.2 lakhs per annum and the average salary here is about Rs. 3.5 Lakhs. Until now, companies like the Global Logic, Infocept and 3 more companies have visited our college. Also, the students here are doing internships ...

Faculty members are good, but the placements are average.

Placements: The placements for my branch are not good, and no core-companies come to the college for placement. Although, the placement for ETC and IT branches are good. You can also participate in the open campus recruitment which can be held at any college. So the placements can be said to be an average in my college. The placements of the other university courses in RTMNU is backward, so there is no mistake of the college.

A good college for studious students.

Placements: For the electrical branch, we have mostly IT placements only. Very fewer core companies come to the placements. From off-campus, you can avail jobs. From our batch, I remember around 15 % of the students were placed, but now we heard placement rate is increased from that level.

The college is money oriented and nothing else.

Placements: The placements are not that great. Many people don't get a call letter. The placement numbers claimed by the college are just overrated. As far as the mechanical branch is concerned, the placement record is too poor. No core companies visit. If they do, they hire students as machine operators with a salary of around Rs. 11,000 per month approximately.

It is a good college with best facilities and faculty.

Placements: Placements for computer engineering is quite good, but electrical and mechanical engineering guys have no other option than GATE exam. If they don't want to go for higher studies, then open campus can save them. But, that also depends on luck because other colleges and companies have tie-ups. So, there is more struggle for core branch students rather than computer background guys.

Well-disciplined and good education, but poor placement for the core branches.

Placements: The placements for the mechanical and electrical engineering branches are very less. Companies coming to the college for placement are mostly IT companies which also gives a chance to the mechanical students for campus drive. Sometimes, the companies come to recruit for BPO also. Other than the mechanical, for CE, IT, etc., branches, there are companies which come to the campus. Usually, the package varies between 2-4 lakhs. Students have to go for pool campus in other colleges too. The college ...

Good it terms of discipline and strictness, good in academics, poor placement.

Placements: Currently, the placement scenario is not that much good as compared to the other colleges, i.e. VINIT, RCOEM, YCCE. Another reason for the poor placement is lack of core recruiters in Nagpur region. But the T&P department of the college is trying very hard to make a connection with various companies, and in future, it is expected that the placement scenario will be good. Presently, the placement percentage is approximately 30%, and the average package is 3 LPA. Almost 90% of the students go for ...

The college is the best for the academics, but average for the placements.

Placements: The placement percentage in the college was about 10-15%. Only a few good students from the branch got placed, that too in IT companies. Only one student got placed in the core company namely Triveni Turbines. The average salary package offered to the students is about 20k per month. No one got an internship from the college. But after 2016, the electrical branch got its accreditation so it may level up in its placements.

The college has a great infrastructure, good faculty and a student friendly atmosphere,

Placements: The placements haven't really been much fruitful to the students as most of them are being placed out of the campus selections (off-campus). Yet a few good companies have landed and selected some of the students from the Electronics and computer science branches. But, the mechanical branch doesn't have many placements.

The college is strict, but if you are brave, you will enjoy this.

Placements: The placements are great. A lot of companies come here for campus placements. A lot of students are also selected from here. Some of the companies that visit the campus are Mahindra, Infosys, Global Logic, TCS, InfoCepts. IT and ETC department students are placed more than other branches.

Decent college with good infrastructure and lack of vision

Placements: Placements for the computer batch were very limited. The expectations of the industry and the curriculum taught almost never matches. Limited companies like Tech M, L&T, Persistent came in. All the students did not get placed. The placements scenario is worse for other branches.

Good faculty, but need to improve on placement and infrastructure. Lab facilities are good

Placements: Placements are not at par seeing the current trends. The TnP department is providing assistance for only those students who register for the CRT programme conducted by the college for which one needs to pay separate fees. Normally, BPOs hire a majority of students with 2-3 IT companies coming in. No chances of placement for those dreaming for core companies. Placements are not stupendous. Generally, 30% get placed that too on a package of maximum 2-3 LPA or in some cases, 4 lacs per annum. Start...

A college of disciplined students.

Placements: The placements for the students are quite good. The placement rates are good for the students of IT and CE. Both the core companies and the IT companies have come for the placements. The companies like Amazon and TCS also recruited the students along with the other. The average package offered to the students starts at Rs. 2.5 LPA to Rs. 3 LPA and goes up to Rs. 7 LPA. The college runs different internship programs for the students, in which the companies select the students for the various inte...

The best college in Nagpur as far as I know because of the strictness they maintain

Placements: The placements are quite good. Good companies visit the college. The only thing is that you should be more prepared. As seen, most of the aspirants are not. According to the senior batch, the placement rate is very high but as of now, the saturation level is increased in each and every sector. The jobs and vacancies are very less. Thus the placement rate is going down. But the T&P department is doing its best for more companies to visit. Currently, a university from Johannesburg visited the col...

Good non-autonomous college under RTMNU; well-disciplined and good academics

Placements: Approximately 60-70% placement rate other the years. However, the companies on the campus are more on the average side. Almost all of them are with 60% aggregate criteria. Some even have 70% criteria. Chances are better for off-campus placements. Most prominent companies are InfoCepts, TCS, Persistent and Tech Mahindra.

The faculty members are helpful, good placements expected this time and a great infrastructure

Placements: The placements in our institute were scarce until we got NBA accreditation. The total number of students who got placed last year touched the number 10. This year we expect more placements than the last year because of the accreditation we got and 75% percent of the students got summer internship in different companies.

Not so good but better than many others in the city.

Placements: Placements are really poor to almost negligible. Only a few IT students get placed. You have to search for a job yourself and core companies do not come to the campus along with an inefficient training and placement department. The college does not follow the internship policy. Students who get placed i.e. IT and computers, get on an average a package of 3 LPA.

An over disciplined college but okay.

Placements: The placements are not up to the mark for the core fields like mechanical engineering and electrical engineering as opposed to good placements for non-core branches. IT companies do visit SVPCET for campus placements. Placements get affected due the city background of a non-metro city. Very few companies do placements from SVPCET.
