The college is good for those who are interested in studies and have too much of patience.

Placements: Placements are not up to the mark. For non-core field, placements are okay but it is very much poor for core fields i.e. ME and EE because mostly IT companies are there for recruitment. For core field, it is not the problem of college but the city. Very few core companies used to come to Nagpur for recruitment.

The best disciplined college to choose.

Placements: The college has great placements and internship records. It has more than 40 students from every department are placed each year in major companies like Persistent, Wipro etc. Also, the college encourages students for entrepreneurship development. The college also helps students to attend the recruitment session off-campus.

Best institution for quality technical education.

Placements: Placements at Pallotti are below average. During my graduation, nearly 70-80% of CE and IT branch students got placed along with some students from core branches in IT companies. There are very few opportunities for core fields here as the frequency of core companies visiting here is less. Here is a list of some companies which visited the college in the year 2016 and 2017: - Triveni Turbines - HSBC - Infocept - Persistant - FACE - PARAMATRix - Amazon - NICE Software Ltd - Mphasis - Bitwise ...

Cuts the wings of students making them horses that pull a cart with eyes blinded on the side.

Placements: The placement percentage is almost 0.05% i.e. negligible. In the college brochure, they say that they have 100% placements but that is all a hoax. Only a few get placed that too in IT companies. The T&P department does not bring any core companies. The students have to look for a job themselves. The worst part about the internship is that the college allows the student to go to the internship but he may not get any attendance not even 50% making the student to go in detention as he has to score ...

Strict rules, good learning and good placements.

Placements: As every other engineering college, we mostly get IT companies as major recruiters. The average package is 3-4 LPA, and the highest was 6 LPA. The placements rules are very strict as it is a convent college. The companies like Infosys and Accenture come majorly for IT consultants. Almost all the students who attend placements end up getting placed.

College is good and progressing in terms of education. Hope for better placements in core branches.

Placements: Very good placements for CS, IT and ETC branches only. Whereas placements for the mechanical and electrical branch are not up to the mark due to slackness in the market. The college pays attention towards placements in the IT sector only. Before commencing the final year, aptitude classes are conducted and exams are also taken. The college is positive towards placements and placements are improving year by year.

Check before you take admission.

Placements: Placements are not very good in the college even though the prospectus shows a good list of companies. Tech Mahindra, Persistent and WeLead came to the college. The students were given some off-campus opportunities like TCS, Xoriant and Zensar but the number of students placed was an issue. The highest placement was 10 lakhs in the Indian army (credit to the student, the college didn't do anything except giving attendance) and the lowest placement was 1.2 lacs at WeLead and a fairly good placem...

Well-maintained and disciplined college of Nagpur.

Placements: Well, talking about the placements in SVPCET, they are below average. The college has a very active TNP cell but still, if we talk about placements of the mechanical department, they are about only 10-15 percent. Very few or no core company visits for recruitment in college. There are good placements for CE and IT branches. Software companies like TechM, L&T, Ginger etc. companies visited and students are placed also. The college and TNP have their own criteria for students to apply in cam...

Very strict college. Regular classes are conducted. No skipping of classes is allowed.

Placements: There are very low placements. Only 1 got placed from a class of 75. The salary is 3 lakhs per annum, so the placement is low. Core companies which come to the college are very few. Also, the selection is very less among them. The course is not up to the level of the industry. Very few get a chance to sit for interviews as per the selection criteria.

Disciplined college of Nagpur.

Placements: First of all T&P department holds a good image inside the campus. Taking into considerations placement records, it is somewhat poor in case of mechanical engineering. Only 10% students are placed from my batch. The average salary offered is about 2.5L annually. For mechanical, L&T, Ceat visit our campus. Mostly, IT companies visit our campus. Related to internships, there are no such internship programs offered by the college. The students have to find them on their own. ...

If you are interested in M. Tech. in CAD-CAM then just think of this college. It has a very good environment and good teaching staff. The college has a well-equipped lab with all the updated software. The college has a nice environment and flexible teaching hours. I just loved the duration spent here. The college is very strict and mainly emphasizes on studies. No extracurricular activities are entertained. This college is all about rules and regulations. Placements are good for IT and CE. College is fully equipped with all types of labs. In SVPCET, there is nothing for free. You have to earn your internals through tests. Canteen facility and mess facility is bad.

I have mixed reviews for this college. The campus facilities and exposure which it provides through its events is good and the Placements are good. The fee structure is average, which I feel is worth the money. The faculty is up to the mark and even the college is great. However, the college is too strict with it rules, and that's a drawback, as a graduation college is expected to give some amount of freedom to students.

My Engineering college was amongst the best in the Nagpur University although it being fairly young, i.e. only 10 years since establishment. The college has a vast campus spread across 20 acres. One drawback that most student would face is that the college was located 20 Kms outside the city of Nagpur. The infrastructure was amongst the best with 2 boy’s hostel and 1 girl’s hostel inside the premise of the campus. The pros with the institute is that it manages to keep the academic rigor constan...

SVPCET, is an Engineering colleges which is based on disciplined college tutoring. The professors tend to preach teaching which is more pedantic than practical. The only reason people tend to send their children to this college is discipline. Discipline definitely helps you in the future, but the college lacks research oriented teachings. If you want to study and clear your exams without any external help (tuitions), this is the best place. But if you're looking for a more research oriented coll...

The college is nice and faculty is good even. This college works hard on student like conducting regular lectures, completion of course on time with given notes of all necessary topics, regular tests to ready students for main exams, regular practical’s and all of above this college loves discipline.

Overall I will recommend it to everyone. The college fest, including the atmosphere of college is very positive.
