It's a Christian minority college with strict disciplinary action and excellence in education.

Placements: Average pay is 3–8 Lacs per year. Most students are recruited in companies like Wipro, Webel, etc. IQAC cell takes care of this department in our college. Students are referred to IQAC cell towards the completion of their last semester. Recruiters from different companies come to assess the students.

Xavier will make you a multitasker and a very hardworking student.

Placements: Those who applied for placement cells got jobs in good companies. For internships, 80% of those who applied were chosen. For my course, mostly HR positions were offered. I never did an internship, so I have no idea about the companies.

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty, good placements in 2023.

Placements: A great college to study in, and he was privileged to do his bachelor's there. If you are a fan of corporate ethics and and industrial mode of education which will produce nothing more than smiling well-mannered slaves then you should definitely opt for this college. Few exceptions will always be there, but the way they stand out will only highlight the lack in everything else.

Go only if you are absolutely sure that you can make three years course work out for you.

Placements: The placements are not up to the-mark that one may have thought at the beginning, since not many companies are willing to hire just freshly minted undergrads, in the sense that they look for some industry exposure, and some also look at your parallel certifications.

St. Xavier's College is one of the top colleges where you can study staying in Kolkata.

Placements: We passed in the year 2020 during a peak pandemic and therefore, there was no on-campus placement drive. However, we got some opportunities to apply for jobs through our WhatsApp group chat. I also got a job in ITC before I got my results. So a degree from Xavier's College has its perks.

I am absolutely satisfied because of faculty members but placements are not offered here.

Placements: No roles are offered in the language course. But one can appear in placement programs that are arranged by the commerce department. Many students get jobs or can do internships in reputed companies and startups. If one have elective subjects like journalism, the professor will guide where one can apply for internships.

Review of St. Xavier's College Kolkata.

The lowest salary offered is Rs. 10,000 per month, the highest salary offered is Rs. 50,000 per month, and the average salary offered is Rs. 25,000 per month. The average salary is decent but should be better. NGOs should come and give internships to the students.

I had an enriching experience in our college.

Placements: About 60 students got placed in our batch. I didn't attend for placements, so I don't know about salary packages offered. The top roles offered as part of literary society involved in publishing magazines and organising events. Internships are not needed at the undergraduate level. I don't know about the salary packages offered in our course, and also don't know about recruiting companies.

The college offers proper learning and growing environment.

Placements: Almost 5% of the students were placed in the course. They were placed in communications, content, and media companies. The highest salary package offered was 2 LPA. This year, the placement performance was overwhelming. Companies were very good.

Study here for the faculty and course curriculum.

Placements: Placements for sociology are a little on the down side, companies do come and open profiles to all departments but the job profile centers usually around business analytics and similar fields. But one can always sit for the interview process. Most people usually opt for Masters after a B.A. in sociology, there's no guarantee about the placements for the course in St Xavier's.

It is definitely the second home.

Placements: There are no many placements for B.A. graduates. However, there is a placement cell which is very active, and one can enrol their name there. We have to wait for the companies to come and hire the students. The placement opportunities were higher for other departments. But for us, we had opportunities too, might not be a lot but we did have some.

It is a place of knowledge without any discrimination.

The highest salary was Rs. 22,000, and the lowest is Rs. 16,000. The companies like the jet airline, TCS, HP, Wipro and security company like CSC come here for placements. Generally, students were selected for political advisory and sales executive. Our college conducted internship for 1.5 months. Also, there is placement cell.

What you think about Xavier's from outside, it is not what actually it is. The academic brilliance of the college has gone down, the teacher-student relationship there is not at all commendable. Trying to spoon-feed at Graduation level, and handing over notes just to mug them up and write them in college exams have not been of much help. However, campus life is great fun.

Review of St. Xavier's College, Kolkata.

Placements: St Xavier's College provided the best commerce courses in Kolkata and one of the best in India. It's a three-year course and provides honors in accounting and finance, marketing, and e-commerce subjects. The professors were good and friendly. If you spend your three years fully committed to your investment, you will surely succeed. St. Xaviers College also gets good placements in commerce and other courses.
