Placements: The highest salary package from my senior batch was around 20 LPA at DeShaw, likely for an HR or Software Development role. The average salary package offered is around 5 LPA-7 LPA. There are many recruiters, from L&T to Axis Bank. The placement cell is very active and helpful, although it is filled with stringent regulations.
Placements: More than 70 companies participated in campus recruitment for the academic year 2023-24. The CTC offers ranged from 4 lakhs to 24 lakhs. Notable recruiters include Accenture, D.E. Shaw, Price Waterhouse Coopers, Ernst and Young GDS, Deloitte USI, Deloitte India, McKinsey, Adobe, ICICI Bank, Digit Insurance, Novartis, Rebuscode, Corizo, Tata Consultancy Services, SBI, Axis Bank, ITC, Swiggy, Zomato, Tata Power, Myntra, Aakash Institute, Aditya Birla Group (including Aditya Birla Sun Life Insuranc...
Placements: Freshers have the opportunity to participate in placement cell events. They volunteer and learn when companies visit our campus for placementa. Freshers are not directly involved in interactions with the placement companies. Top recruiting companies like Deloitte, etc., visit our campus. Students in their third year of this course are allowed to work on different workshops and internships. Seminars, special lectures, and workshops are also held regularly. Seminars tend to be for higher levels, l...
Placements: The placements were average. Many MNC and MSME companies came here. The highest package offered was 7.2 LPA, and the average package was around 4-5 LPA. A few students got low packages. Around 76% of students got internships, and a few got direct jobs from MNCs.
Placements: In the multimedia industry, lots of companies offer jobs, but if you are an extraordinary student, then big MNCs like Google will hire you. The starting salary offered to freshers is not much good, it is around 20,000.
Placements: Students in Bachelor's of microbiology usually aren't eligible for placements. But in the case of other courses, the placements were the best (as I heard from my collegemates). Studying in this college won't disappoint you in the future, and it really does make a very good impact on your profile.
Placements: Each bath has two types of students: those who apply for placement cells after B.Sc. and those who pursue higher education. Most of the students sitting for the placement test are recruited. For the highest and lowest packages, it basically depends on the student himself and the quality of skills he has groomed himself into. There are companies with salary packages of 4 to 6 LPA, as it can go up to 23 LPA. Recruiting companies for our course include TCS, IBM, etc. Some special MNC product-based ...
Placements: There were 70% of students who got placed in our course. Mostly, 90% of students from the second year and third year got internships in this course. Students got jobs in the field of data analytics, statistician, accounting, etc. The highest salary package obviously would be in LPA.
Placements: In our college, the placements scenario are not good. The students pursue their internships through off-campus internships drive, and with the placements the condition is same. The students graduating from this college are the major portion of students who go for higher studies, and only a few percent of students opt for placements.
Placements: This college was associated with Internshala, one of the top internship platforms in India. The placements cell of SXC recruits students for working in many brands and companies. They offer opportunities for students to develop and showcase their skills in companies like Hindustan Unilever, Goodricke, Cognizant, PhonePe, Thomas Cook, Godrej, Uber, Videocon, and many others. On the academic front, students can also intern at institutes like IIT Madras, IIT Bombay, and IISER Bhopal to name a few, ...
Placements: It is a B.Sc honors course so almost every student will go for higher studies. There are no such placements for these types of courses. One may do internships on their own with some skills like python, C, R, as an aspiring data analyst. If anyone has some good skills, then they may get placed with an average salary. But I will strongly suggest going for higher studies will be the best option.
Placements: Actually, no one applies for placement right after B.Sc. They pursue M.Sc first. But I have heard that other department students were offered placement. Many renowned companies visit the campus for providing internships to students. You can try your luck if you want to. They inform about the internships beforehand.
Placements: Our college is autonomous, so there are no placements in this college. Many students get an internship every year in different reputed companies. It is one of the best colleges in Kolkata. It has its own fame all over the Bengal. Overall, our college is amazing.
Placements: Placement is a partially guaranteed phenomenon. The competition in your batch will be really tough as the cutoff percentage for Economics at Xavier's is shockingly high. So mostly the toppers of different schools come on board. Talking about Internships, the placement cell does arrange internships offered by D. E. Shaw & Co, Deloitte, pwc, Larsen and Toubro and many more for second year as well the third year students. However it will entirely depend on your competitiveness as the seats availabl...
Placements: Almost 60% students from the department of computer science, statistics BMS, B.com are placed. The highest package offered is 13 lpa while the lowest is 5 lpa. However in my course, B.Sc. microbiology we do not get placed as higher studies are required in this field. Although almost 100% of the students do various internships and try for off campus placement in companies like biocon, sun pharma etc. or continue with higher studies. The top roles offered in this course is of lab technician, rese...
Placements: Particularly in our course, placements are mostly about getting internships in various media houses. More than 50% of the students get the chance, but a few students opt for it because every student aims to pursue M.Sc/MA degree. The stipend offered ranges between Rs. 10,000-20,000 per month, and it will be more based on the experience. Studios like SVF and Surinder visit here regularly.
Placements: As I am involved in a non-professional course, I don't get placements. However, the exposure that our college provides is very commendable, and we get the chance to meet students and professors of foreign universities.
Placements: There are no placements after B.Sc, but after the M.Sc programme, few bio companies offer placements. Most of our seniors got placed in reputed companies. Internship opportunities are huge and can be obtained from any institute or industry based on our professors' recommendations.
Placements: After B.Sc., rarely some people go to look for their job, otherwise maximum goes for higher education like M.Sc. So to think about placement after doing B.Sc is not a good idea according to me. But the college gives good placement after M.Sc provides ample opportunities to those who wish to get placed in a good company. Again there is competition since the number of students is high. The process is quite streamlined.
Placements: About 20% of the students get in house campusing, and 60% of the students opt for higher studies. The remaining students got placement by their own merit. The highest salary offered is Rs. 30,000 per month, and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 10,000 per month. The average salary offered ranges from Rs. 10,000-20,000 per month. Top recruiting companies like SVF, Viacom 18 Media and IPAC visit our campus for placements. About 20% of the students from our course got an internship in companies like...
