Course Curriculum at State Institute of Engineering and Technology, Nilokheri

Based on the feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary of the course curriculum for B.E./B.Tech:

    * Relevant and Industry-Focused: Most students agree that the course curriculum is relevant and prepares students for industry requirements. However, some feel that it needs updates to match current industry standards.
    * Well-Qualified Faculty: Teachers are generally well-educated and knowledgeable in their domains, with many holding PhDs.
    * Good Lab Facilities: Laboratories are well-equipped and available for students to practice and gain hands-on experience.
    * Project Work and Practical Training: Industrial training is mandatory after every semester, allowing students to apply theoretical knowledge in practical settings.
    * Focus on Theory Over Practical: While some students appreciate the emphasis on theory, others find it lacking in terms of practical application.
    * Outdated Curriculum: A few students mention that the curriculum could benefit from updates to reflect current industry trends and requirements.
    * Preparation for Seminars Exams: Teachers aim to prepare students for seminar exams, making them moderately challenging.
    * High Pass Percentage: The passing percentage for the CSE course is reported to be around 90%, indicating a strong foundation in the core subjects.

These findings suggest that while the course curriculum may require some updates, the institute provides a solid foundation in the core subjects and prepares students for industry requirements through project work and practical training. However, individual experiences may vary, and further evaluation is needed to confirm these observations.

    * Limited assistance: A few students pointed out that the placement cell did not provide adequate guidance or training to prepare students for interviews. Additionally, there seemed to be a lack of communication between the placement cell and students regarding job opportunities.

This college is exactly situated in Nilokheri.
Placements: 20% of students are placed from here. It is approximately 2.4 Lacs per annum. Tata, L&T, and other local companies. 50% according to their trade. In this institute, internship opportunities are self-found by students themselves. There are no job recruitments provided by the college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average. There is Wi-Fi only in the library. They have labs, but the machines are not working. Yes, a small canteen. The girls' hostel is good. The boys' hostel is not good. In this college, trips and lab equipment are not conducted for a product table condition.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and enough qualified to teach the students professionally. The teaching quality is very good. Yes, it makes the students ready for industrial work as well. The exam is not difficult, but the exam checking is very hard, conducted by the University.
Other: I chose this because it is a government college and affiliated with Kurukshetra University. Yes, this college has a feeling of hostel life, but less compared to other colleges.

College is average in terms of describing.
Placements: About 65% of students got placement, and this number will be increasing in upcoming years as well. The highest package was around 4 lpa. Many students got internships in companies like TCS. Data Analytics Assistant, Cyber Analyst, and Sales Manager are the roles offered.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average. Hostel qualities are also average. The quality of food is average, as the menu of the hostel is only based on the choices of the chefs, and the students' choice is neglected. No sports or games are much promoted or improved in the campus.
Faculty: Few of the teaching staff are helpful. Difficulty level of exam is medium. Pass % is 33. The course curriculum does not make the students industry-ready as they only go for the semester knowledge and subject knowledge, but the practical knowledge is gained by the students themselves, so we must be prepared on our own level.
Other: Fests are annual-based, the crowd is rural, and campus surroundings are average.

It's okay, but I didn't find anything special.
Placements: About 50% students were placed with an average package of 40,000 per month, which was not worth it. I was expecting more, but now I have quit that job and joined another, which is more beneficial for me. According to my results and efforts, it is sufficient, and now I am satisfied.
Infrastructure: There are Wi-Fi but not working mostly. Labs are there but not that good. Classrooms are good, big, and clean. They are good there. There was also a library which was also good. The hostel was very good. I enjoyed it and my hostel life was also good. The mess was clean but the food was the worst .
Faculty: Teachers were not helpful. They were highly qualified and experienced but not good for students. The course was relevant, but no student was focused. Semesters were very hard to clear, and the pass percentage was very low in all the years. I hardly passed.

Faculty: The faculty is knowledgeable and experienced, offering excellent support and cooperation to students. The environment is friendly, with students collaborating well with one another. Overall, the college provides a positive experience within a spacious campus.

Electronic and Communication Engineering Review from SIET.
Placements: At this institute, around 30-35% of students get placed in our course. The average package offered was between 3-4 LPA. Our college invites various companies for on-campus placements. Top recruiters at the college included Ericsson, Deloitte, TCS, Wipro, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure available at the college was good enough for our course. The college has multiple facilities such as Wi-Fi, labs, a library, sports facilities, and a canteen. The quality of these facilities is good. The hostel is located near the campus, and the food in the mess was good to eat.
Faculty: The teachers at the college were qualified and knowledgeable. All the faculty members were supportive and helpful to the students, making sure they understood all the concepts. The course curriculum was relevant and prepared students for the industry. Exams in the college were not hard to pass for this course.

Faculty are overall so, but there is placement for mechanical branch only.
Placements: There are placements only for mechanical branch students who have just passed their subjects with passing marks. The top role provided by the institute is institute representative. The top recruiting company for the mechanical branch is Maruti Suzuki; for the computer branch, it is HCL, etc.
Infrastructure: Labs are okay, but the computers are in bad condition; most of the computers are not working. Wi-Fi is not provided on the campus. The hostel is in bad condition. I suggest not taking the hostel if you are a boy. The girls' hostel is very good, but the mess food is very bad.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified, but very few are keen to take lectures seriously. The course curriculum only teaches programming but does not make students industry-ready. If you start studying one month before the exam, you can crack the semester exam. Exam questions are predictable.
Other: I chose this course because I got a 190,000 rank in JEE Main, and then I took HSTES counseling, where I got this college. So I took admission here.
