Everything is good, except placements.

Placements: A maximum of 20% of the students was placed in our department, and not in our domain. We have heard from our seniors that the situation was same for them too. All the interviews take place in other colleges, rather in than our college. So the maximum of the selected candidates was from other colleges.

More over average college.

Placements: Over the years this college is developing so. Each year this college offering new scope of opportunities. Now the placements are average they do offer core companies. The highest salary is 2.5 lac and the lowest is 1.5 lac. Company interested are infosys, tcs, sett & de, hyundai, ashok layland. Here is a placement cell, it is moderately useful.

I am not fully satisfied with this college. It needs more improvement.

Placements: The placements are very poor in this college. 30% of the students were placed from this college from our department. The highest salary offered is 1 LPA. The companies visited this college are Tech Mahendra, Pinnacle, Roto Dyne, Vap tech, maven, Simplex, etc., but most of the companies are the call centre and IT. Only one company was from core sector name Roto Dyne. There is a placement cell in our college. But it's not efficient or useful.

Almost satisfied, but some of the infrastructure is the worst in this college.

Placements: The placements of our college are not very good in my opinion. The number of students who are placed via this college is also not so big. The salary given by the company is also not very good. The percentage of students that are placed are not good, and the average salary is also not good.

I like my college for good education.

Placements: There is a very good placement in this college. All friends and teachers are very good. Teachers are very helpful in every matter. They give us extra classes for any type of problems in any subject or any working problems. The ground available will also be good.

I am absolutely satisfied with the placements, good faculty and friendly environment.

Placements: Every year, the first company that comes first to our college is ITC Infotech. Then after, many famous companies like TCS, Capgemini, Cognizant, Ericson, Subex, etc., visit JIS group for campusing along with some comparatively infamous companies. One point to be mentioned is that our college doesn't do individual campusing for the students. All the companies visit JIS group as a whole which means all the students of colleges that are under JIS group have to appear together for every company. Whe...

The placements and the faculty are good.

Placements: Each candidate of our senior batches is settled now with a job. 100% placement assurance is given. Our college organises lot of seminars. They bring experienced corporate figures to guide us. They organise technical training classes which help us a lot. I gladly recommend others to join this college.

A good college at a good location.

Placements: The college placement cell is good. As I am from the mechanical department, the companies come to our department are simplex infrastructure, Capgemini, and RTO. There are much more for other streams, and more companies might have come after 2015. The students should try their best in the placements.

Absolutely awesome college but it could be much better.

Placements: We always had a pool campusing under JIS Group. But then also campusing experience was good. Many companies have arrived, and people got the chance in it. They try their best, so everyone should be placed. Even they provided extra classes for aptitude and soft skills.

The college has the helpful professors and a poor placement record.

Placements: Truly speaking our college does not provide the campus placements. However, the college takes the initiative to send the students for the placements held in the other colleges. JIS University invites the students of the final year for campus placements held at the university. Most of the seniors have not got jobs through the campus interviews. The college providing internships is a rare case. The students take the initiative to enrol for the internships. A handful of seniors find the employment ...

The college has the good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The placements depend on the CGPA of a student. If the CGPA is good, then the student gets a good job. Around, 70-80% of the students were placed. The highest salary offered to the student was 7.5 lacs per annum, and the lowest was three lacs per annum. The companies that visited the campus was Amazon, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Ashok Leyland, Hyundai, etc. 100% of the students got an internship from the college. The highest stipend offered was Rs. 10,000, the lowest stipend was Rs. 5,000, and the av...

Placements: It was good and 60% students already got placed. Our college gave us good companies and good profiles were offered by the companies. I would like to say that I also got placed from this college.

Disappointed with the placement department and management.

Placements: The placement is very poor for the civil engineering department. The college brought some BPO companies like Amazon, BYJUS for the civil engineering department. SIMPLEX and Sapoorji hired 7 students in a pool campusing. The college brought one or two small construction companies, and they wanted to pay a pittance which may not be sufficient for labours. The condition of other department is same almost except Automobile engineering department. They got good placements. ...

Really good for learning and the placement, according to 2016.

Placements: In the core departments, the placement is a little tough. But in IT or computer science, the placement is good in comparison to other private colleges. The companies like Tech Mahindra and others came to our college, this year. So the placement in the IT, CSE or ECE department is pretty much good.

Average placements but excellent teaching staff

Placements: The placements for the ECE department are average. If you are deserving and have a good record then you will definitely get placed. Everyone with the average marks of 60-65% in every exam can sit for placement exams. The college offers a very interesting training program in Bankok for the students having 80% marks in every semester. The college bares all the expenses for that training program.

Good infrastructure but the placement rate should be higher

Placements: The JIS Group has one placement cell for all of its colleges. But my college has a good placement for the AUE department and for the other departments, the placement is also good. But not good as GNIT or NIT which are two of the other colleges of the JIS Group. This college has a collaboration with Ashok Leyland which is now our core group to give placements. Last year, 55-60% of students got placements through the college. The major companies are Ashok Leyland, Hyundai Motors, Volkswagen, Infos...

The placement is less than average. Good infrastructure and very good facilities.

Placements: The placements of our college are not so good. Hardly 40% of the total students got placed on campus. Hardly 4-5 companies visited our college and the highest salary offered was rupees 3.5 lpa. Only a few students got the opportunity to get that package. So, overall, from my point of view, this college is not good for placements.

A moderate experience with good faculty, good workshops and honest efforts from everybody

Placements: The faculty members of Automobile and mechanical departments were the best in this college. Job opportunities are also high for the above two departments. The average package is 4-4.2 lakhs/annum. Being a pass out of 2015, I had the opportunity to appear in the placement process of Tata AIG, Simplex Infrastructure and Tech Mahindra. The college also provides assistance in pool campus drives. The faculty members are very helpful, and the college also hosts intra and inter-college tournaments but ...

Placements: Below average placements last year, although the placements were average this year. The highest salary was around 3 LPA with the lowest being 1.5 LPA. 50% of students were placed. The companies which visited include ITC Infotech, Simplex, Tech Mahindra, Pinnacle and a few more. Roles offered to students were junior engineers.

Not fully satisfied because my exception is not fullfiled

Placements: The placement is good (moderately). The chances of selection in a company is low because the company takes very few (10-20)% students. To be placed, you should be good in every skill (technical skills, communication skills), companies like HCL, Capgemini, Jennifersoft, etc., visited our college. The average salary offered about 20k-30k per month. Our college also provides the internship.
