B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2024

A review of SVS Institute of Technology.
Placements: In our college, placements are average, and the number of students placed also receives lower salaries compared to students from other colleges. This is due to the skills and knowledge of the students not being sufficient for high-paying jobs. However, everyone manages to secure a job, albeit with a lower package.
Infrastructure: Every department in our college has separate blocks. The infrastructure of our college is impressive, with beautiful gardens enhancing the overall appeal. The college features classrooms equipped with digital facilities and well-maintained benches, creating a neat learning environment. The greenery on our college campus is truly commendable.
Faculty: The faculty at our college have significant experience in the teaching field. They interact nicely with students and maintain friendly relationships. Their teaching skills are excellent and extraordinary. The faculty takes responsibility for effective teaching.
Other: I chose this college as I received a free seat, and the fees are reasonable.

Very much dissatisfied due to substandard infrastructure, faculty and opportunities.
Placements: Less than 10 students got placed in CSE, the highest package offered was 3.8 LPA, the lowest was 1.4 LPA and Median package is around the ballpark of 2.2 LPA. Top recruiters are Genpact, Jio and some local companies in the city. None of the students got internship through college. All of the roles offered were not related to core computer Science and were mostly blue collar for JIO and local companies and in support or IT roles for Genpact.
Infrastructure: CSE only has one floor in the B.Tech Block, Wi-Fi access is denied for students, classrooms don't even have proper ceiling fans and boards will not be visible sometimes because of glare and it will be really hot in classrooms in summer. There is one common library for entire college in which CSE has a rack of books, inventory of books for CSE can be anywhere around 70-200 and Internet can be accessed through computers in library. Most of the computers don't work in Labs and they are maintained poorly. I can't speak for the food quality in hostel but from what I've heard it's okkayish and college canteen is either closed or will have limited options to choose from. No sports and medical facilities are provided in the college.
Faculty: Majority of the lecturers don't even have the capability to hold a conversation in their respective subjects and when students ask them doubts they will tell something which isn't comprehendible and there will be a lot of tautology with all the lecturers following subpar teaching methods and this course definitely doesn't make students industry ready. There is no programming culture in the college and not even a single hackathon was conducted during my course. Semesters exams are difficult for most of the students due to the lack of teaching standards and no guidance, 40 percentage is the pass percentage.
Other: Spring Fire is the college fest but it isn't celebrated every year and most of the students aren't even interested in this fest because college has completely failed in creating an ambience & fun experience surrounding it.

Budget friendly by situation .
Placements: In our college, almost 75% of people are getting placements. The highest level package is 15 LPA, and the lowest level package is 2 LPA. The top recruiting companies for my course are Amazon, Google, etc. 50% of people are getting internships.
Infrastructure: The thing I don't like is the infrastructure; the library is average but enough for all the students. There is no Wi-Fi anywhere; if it is there, then it doesn't work. There is no hostel facility for boys; you have to stay in private hostels. There are no games either.
Faculty: The teachers of the college are fully experienced and all are Ph.D. scholars. Teachers are very friendly with students. Yes, the course is curriculum relevant. It helps students sustain in present-day industries. Semester exams are very difficult, and we have to go to another college to write exams.
Other: I chose this because I had a passion from childhood to become a software developer. The thing that needs improvement is the infrastructure of our college.

The quality of educational life is very good.
Placements: Nearly all our seniors are pursuing higher education. Some chose to do jobs, and they are doing great. Most of them, while doing their bachelor's degrees, are doing some part-time jobs that are technically accurate and in important positions.
Infrastructure: We have some of the best labs, high-tech computers, and a well-stocked library with great books from around the world on every subject. The hostel is good. It serves clean and healthy food. They conduct games regularly. We also have a medical team to support unexpected accidents.
Faculty: Faculty members are excellent. They are well-qualified and helpful. They always clarify our doubts. The course curriculum makes students greatly ready and responsible. The exam curriculum is difficult. The pass percentage is average.
Other: Our campus spends equal time on both education and fests. Cultural and physical games are also conducted in this college.

I am not satisfied with the college and I wouldn't recommend joining this college.
Placements: Around 30% of students get placed in our college every year. Many students get placed in top MNCs. The highest salary package offered is 3 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 1 LPA. Top recruiting companies are HDFC and ICICI. Many start-up companies visit our college to recruit students. Our college does not provide internships for students. Top courses offered are computer science and engineering, computer science and engineering AL & ML, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electronic and communication engineering, and electrical and electronics engineering.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. The library is available for students. Wi-Fi facility is not available for students. Our classrooms are average. Our college does not provide a hostel facility, but students prefer private hostels with a fee of Rs. 3,500 per month. The canteen facility is available and an alternate option for the food is provided in the canteen. They provide a variety of food items. Our college does not provide sports and medical facilities. There is a school within our campus. The playground is available for school students.
Faculty: Teachers are not knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is fine. Semester exams are not held in the college. The course curriculum does not make students industry-ready. The pass percentage of our college is 40%.
Other: As the software industry is growing rapidly every year, there is a need for more techies so I chose this department. Computer labs should be well-occupied and college lecturers should be more Knowledgeable. Fests are held in our college. Extracurricular activities are not conducted in our college. NCC is not available in our college. A merit scholarship facility is not available in college. A bus facility is not available in our college.

IT is the best college in Warangal, its value for money.
Placements: IN THIS COLLEGE HAS. STARTUP COMPANIES There a LOT BUT ONLY SOME BIG OPPORTUNITY LIKE TECH MAHINDRA, TCS, dell, Amazon, Flipkart, Genpact ARE COMMONLY HIRING. AND Most OF THE STUDENTS WHO STUDIED GOT the highest PACKAGES. Some best chances are there.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good it means that average but the atmosphere and the surrounding is nature friendly. But this college doesn't have hostel. So the students should join in private hostels. The college is environment friendly.
Faculty: The faculty are very experienced and well developed. Fluency English and more cultural activities. They teach very well. Only few lecturers are average in teaching. They are some what less by comparing to top faculty. Okay this faculty is best for graduation.
Other: No, this college doesn't have fests and events regularly. They conduct fests very extraordinary but once in a year.
