Good college for architecture at a reasonable fees.
Placements: Although we do not have placements in our college, the students have joined higher studies in prestigious institutions, began start-ups and have also started working in top architecture firms. The college helps in finding jobs. It helps in making a good portfolio to find jobs outside.
Infrastructure: The hostel here is affordable and the food is okay. Infrastructure is fine. The college is currently working under the management of Amrita University. The library has a good number of books which are helpful for pursuing the course. Amrita’s management is maintaining the campus well.
Faculty: The faculty strives to open the students with various opportunities. They help in software learning, developing design ideas and other practical knowledge. They organise trips to enhance the studies and provide excellent exposure to the students in all aspects.

SVSSOA, a good platform for budding architects.
Placements: I am doing my bachelor's of architecture in SVSSOA. Regarding placements, our college helps us in internship programme. Actually, we don't have any placement programme like other architecture colleges. We are capable of getting a job. Thus, we undergo 1 year of internship (4th academic year). As the internship comes under academics, 100 percent students got internships, and the average stipend is around INR 5 thousand per month.
Infrastructure: Our college offers us a good infrastructure for budding architects. We have a separate block for architecture and stuff. We have all workshops as mentioned by Anna University. The infrastructure is also one of the reasons to offer of hosting zonal Nasa in the year 2015. ZoNasa is an event which includes Tamilnadu and Kerala architecture students (zone 6) together.
Faculty: Our faculty architects are M.Arch qualified. For a batch of students, there are two sections, and each section has separate design faculty and theory faculty. As mentioned above, we have all workshops by which faculty can practically explain the subject, and we are offered with famous architects for a monthly workshop. This will gain us extra exposure.
Other: Yearly, Symposium will be conducted in our campus which will include Kerala and Tamilnadu architecture students.
