SKIT-JAIPUR, Myths Busted.
Placements: The average placement is around 6.5 LPA, and most of the students get placed. The lowest is around 2.5 LPA, offered to core branches, and the highest placement goes north of 20 LPA, offered to ultra-excellent students. Internships are offered with the placements only.
Infrastructure: There are 2 boys' hostels and one girls' hostel inside the campus, and there are 2 more boys' hostels just outside of the campus. The Wi-Fi is capped at 3 GB per day to the hostel guys and 1 GB per day to the day scholar guys. The mess is good and offers moderate food.
Faculty: The faculty is quite experienced, and they are always on their feet to solve the queries. They often act as your mentor when life is tough. The curriculum can feel outdated at some times, but the college does not have a say on it as it is prescribed by RTU.
Other: SKIT is quite a reputed college in Jaipur. It hosts nice fests and has amazing connectivity. The airport is just 15 minutes away, and the railway station is 5-10 minutes away.

SKIT Jaipur - A myth busted.
Placements: I am pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science and technology. My college provides 100% placement, and the average package is around 5-6 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, and HCL. They provide software engineering roles. Also provides the internship in these roles.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good and well maintained. There is a central library, air-conditioned labs, and classrooms. Also, there are two hotels in my college. One is for girls and two for boys with a common mess. There are both single- and double-seater rooms in the girls hostel, and the boys hostel has single-seater rooms.
Faculty: All the faculty are well educated, and they have done Ph.D.s in specified subjects. All the curriculum is well maintained and gives knowledge of the course. Semester exams are not too difficult, and one should get approximately 40% of the marks to pass them. There are two midterms and one end semester exams.

I am not so satisfied with the rules and regulations making it like a school.
Placements: The placement percent in my college is approximately 60%, with the highest package being 7.5 LPA and the average being 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Polycab, etc. After every even semester, internships are offered by Railways or BHEL. Roles offered include being a part of the core group of the company.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is quite decent. There is a library with an AC facility, but the library staff is very strict. There is no AC in classrooms, only in some labs. The lab equipment is old, not the latest. The hostel is actually quite good. There are AC rooms, attached washrooms, canteens, and proper medical facilities. There are sports facilities in our college, but not a proper cricket ground.
Faculty: The teachers of our college are highly qualified but are also stereotypical. They have vast knowledge, but the behavior of some teachers towards students is not good. The teaching quality is good most of the time. The curriculum is too lengthy, especially for our branch, which lacks proper practical knowledge. The semester exams are not too tough, but the checking is awkward. The pass percentage is around 50.
Other: B.Tech is obviously a big technical degree. The best thing about this course is that it gives you practical knowledge. The need for more practical knowledge than theory requires improvement. Our college, most of the time, focuses only on studies and course completion. There is only a single fest held in our college in a year.

An honest and detailed review is for those who want to know about the college. Thank you.
Placements: If we work really hard on our coding skills then there is a chance to crack placements. Company visits here but only a few students are able to get placed because they were continuously doing DSA. Infosys and many mass recruiters visit here.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is provided inside the campus but it will not work everywhere. Labs are well-equipped. Library contains ample stock but it is a very congested area. Classrooms are good for first-year and civil engineering students but for other departments, it is worse. The sitting facilities are horrible. They installed park benches (iron benches) in classrooms. Medical facilities are not available. There are no sports facilities. If we are day scholars, we won't be allowed to play cricket on the cricket ground. Mess food and canteen are average. I don't know about the college hostel. It is like senior secondary school for undergraduates. Campus gate closes at 8:10 AM, and we can't leave before 11:00 AM (need a gate pass to leave early). There are so many rules and regulations and are okay, but many are just a waste of time.
Faculty: Some teachers are good. They know their subjects very well and help students. But most of them are just a PowerPoint presentation reader (from the second year). I think most things are irrelevant in the course curriculum except DSA. Semester exams are easy. But now the college is autonomous so it might be difficult now, as we have to become good students in front of our subject teacher as they have control over marks.
Other: I'm a Computer Science and Engineering student and I chose this course for a better future. I wish the college would organize more tech events like hackathons to encourage students to do coding and DSA. College conducts a sufficient amount of events (according to me) not like JECRC University but it is okay. There is an annual fest called Pravah which is the only time we feel like we are in college otherwise it is a senior secondary school for undergraduates.

Dissatisfied placement in 2024, good faculty, average infrastructure, and fewer events.
Placements: Around 70% of the students are getting placed on average. The highest package of our college is 47.32 LPA, the lowest is 2.5 LPA, and the average is 4.85 LPA. Top recruiting company of our course is Infosys. Around 40% of the students get internships. Top roles offered are for sales and junior executive.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are not that good; they are pretty average and a bit dark for our course. There is Wi-Fi available in every classroom and one library which has every book for our course, and we can issue them to study. There are two types of hostels: one with ACs and one without ACs. Students can opt according to them.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and helpful. All the teachers are quite experienced, but some teachers are not that helpful. Yes, most of the courses are relevant for being industry-ready, but some courses are too old, like computer-aided engineering drawing. Semester exams are a bit difficult because it is not an in-campus exam; we have to give the exam in a different college.
Other: I chose this course because of the IT boom in the industry, which is slightly going down, but it still has potential to provide many job opportunities. The best thing about my course is that it has less writing or memorizing work. It's more practical.

Review of Swami Keshvanand Institute of Technology Management.
Placements: Around 60-70% students place in our college in the CSE department. The highest package of our college is 42 LPA. Infosys is the top recruiter in our college. It depends on the students' performance. The role provided in the course in CSE is like software development.
Infrastructure: The facilities in our college, like classrooms, are not so good, but labs are good in the CSE department. And our library is also good. The facilities of the hostel are good, and the medical facilities are okay. Mess food in our college is the worst thing. Sports and games are not so good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful in our college, especially in the CSE department. Qualifications in most of them are M.Tech. Overall, the course is good, and we explore other things in college. Semester exams are easy if you are studying well. And the pass percentage is 36% in RTU exams.
Other: Most people take this course thinking about the big package, but the reality is that if your college is private, it is difficult. The infrastructure and college fest events are not good.
