Is BE/BTech at Swami Vivekanand Group of Institutes worth the investment?

Placement Opportunities: While students did receive placement opportunities, the package offered was generally low, ranging from INR3 LPA to INR50 LPA. Local companies, such as TCS, Deloitte, and HCL, dominated the recruitment scene. Top recruiting companies included Google, Amazon, and Infosys.

Faculty: Most students found the teachers to be helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. However, some reported that the faculty lacked experience and taught outdated material.

Infrastructure: The college boasts excellent infrastructure, including Wi-Fi connectivity, modern labs, smart classrooms, and a well-stocked library. Hostel facilities were also praised, while the mess food received mixed reviews.

Course Curriculum: The course curriculum was deemed relevant by most students, preparing them for industry demands. However, some felt that the emphasis was more on theoretical knowledge than practical skills.

Conclusion: Based on student reviews, while Swami Vivekanand Group of Institutes offers decent placement opportunities and infrastructure, the faculty could benefit from more experience and updated knowledge. Our college is good to make your future bright.
Placements: Almost 70% of students were placed in our course. Some have got good companies for their placements and some have been placed in third party companies. The highest salary package offered till date is 4.6 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 2.6 LPA. US based companies are top recruiters.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are good in our college with proper CCTV cameras. Our hostel also focuses on health and hygiene and for that washrooms are always clean. Our college also has a Wi-Fi facility. The food that is available in our mess is neither so good nor bad.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college are good enough and are very knowledgeable. They treat students in a manner that helps students to cope with their exam pressure. They also make students prepare for the challenges that will come in their future and they guide them on how to deal with them.
Other: I chose this course because this course is emerging at that time and after corona, the demand of this course has also increased. So this course is good.

I am satisfied with our college.
Placements: Around 70% are placed. Almost 4.6 LPA was the highest package and the lowest was 3.6 LPA. Alembic and Etech are the top recruiting companies. Medical representative and medical scribe was the role mostly given. The placements also include a company which is B.Ed abroad such as the US and provide a job that is day shift as well as night shift.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are good with proper books in the library to read. Wi-Fi is available on the college campus well-equipped labs are provided. The hostel facility is also good with a proper management system. The hostel is equipped with a hostel warden and guards for students' safety.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and will provide you with proper guidance whenever you will need them and they will always be with you in your problems. So that you can overcome that and can focus on your studies. The course is curriculum relevant and makes students industry-ready. It depends on students for the exam difficulties.
Other: I chose B.pharmacy because this is a growing course and its demand can be seen nowadays. The thing that I wish could be improved is the package increment in the initial stage which I think is very low for this course. Various events are organised in our college.

It is one of the best colleges for doing B.Pharma in Mohali Chandigarh.
Placements: Placements are good in this college. Around 70% of the students got placed with an average salary package of around 3-4 LPA for B.Pharmacy. Some famous companies like GSK, Astra, Cipla and many others regularly visit our college once or twice a year for placements.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are well-equipped with modern equipment like a smartboard, camera and projector. Laboratories are neat and clean, and a high-speed Wi-Fi facility is also available on the entire campus. Hostel facilities are also available in our college with average food quality. The library contains all the required books for this course.
Faculty: All the teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. They are very helpful and generous, and they intend to teach students everything as deeply as possible. They also motivate and inform us about the number of opportunities available in this field.
Other: Events and cultural programs are organised every year in our college for students. The international conference is also organised on our campus. I have chosen this course because I wanted to be in the medical field. The best thing about this course is there are a lot of opportunities available after completing the course. There is no need to improve anything about this course.
