Review of SVIST - Swami Vivekananda Institute of Science & Technology.

Placements: The salary offered is low, and mostly marketing profile is offered to the students. Companies visit our college are not much responsive. The highest salary offered is Rs. 15,000 per month and the lowest salary offered is below Rs. 10,000 per month, which was very bad for me. I want the college should provide the best opportunities for the students.

Placements: As I am a current 4th Year student of B.Tech ME, the placement didn't take place fully right now. But from my seniors there are lots of opportunities in front of themselves to grab their job as various company came to our college. The database of all 4th year students have been collected and who didn't submit their database, the college authority had called them to sumbit it.

Now I am a student of 2nd year in mechanical engineering and I personally noticed that in previous year more than 18 companies are came in our college for recruiting the students and 58% of total strength is placed in reputed company. Many reputed companies like Tech Mahindra, TCS, TCL, Wipro Cognizant etc. Are came. And minimum 5-7 LPA salary are offered.

I am satisfied with the knowledge provided. Placements and facilities were good.

Placements: Placements in our college were moderate, neither that good nor very bad. A few companies visited the campus for placements were exceptionally well, but they hired only a few students. Others companies visited the campus for placements were moderate. Our college also participated in many pool campus drives, and also they organised a few pool campus drives. Many students are placed but don't just depend on college to get placed. Instead of that, get prepared yourselves, and your college will be th...

Absolutely incredible college because of its faculty and excellent placement record in 2018.

Placements: The placement rate was very impressive last year. Most of the students of the 4th year were already placed in some reputed companies. The salary offered is not that good and is around Rs. 10,000 per month. The placement cell is doing its best for placements. The highest stipend offered is around Rs. 20,000 and the lowest is Rs. 10,000. Many reputed companies visited our college for placements.

Placements: The college provides the best placements, and there are many opportunities for my course. Multinational companies visit the college and students put their best effort to get placed. It is a great opportunity for students to study in the college, give their best and get the best placements.

The college is not up to the mark, but the mechanical engineering department is quite good.

Placements: Placements in the college are very poor. Most of the companies offer low packages of 1.20 LPA. Basically KPO and BPO companies come for recruiting students, and most of the students do not get placed. There are some fake placements also. So, the college placement records are very poor.

Take admission at your own risk though mechanical dept. Is quite good than others.

Placements: Now a days it is a question to all the students and their parents if I get a job after completing their B.Tech if I studied in this college. My answer for those students technically yes but practically no. In this market of competition it is really to get a job by a student. In west Bengal their are so many colleges which are giving you an opportunity to get your degree. But very few can place after giving you degree. This college also give you that degree. This college also give you a job for y...

Fully satisfied with the college and placements.

Placements: Our college provides very good opportunities for the students regarding placements. In our college, our faculty members show a better interest to conduct drives to the students who are pursuing 3rd year also. Before going to the drives, our faculty give brief information about that company, and the number of students got settled in that company from our college.

Placements: Placements are good. Companies like IBM, TCS and CTS have recruited from this college. I got in IBM from pool campus drive. Placement cell is supportive and guides and helps in getting placed. Aptitude tests and other facilities were provided to better equip us in securing jobs.

If you want to destroy you four years of life, then this is the best place available.

Placements: SVIST is known for its fake companies. If you ever visit the college official page, you will find the big companies like L&T, HUL, Accenture, TCS, CTS, and various other companies, but all of those are eyewash. Don't expect average package more than 1.2 LPA. If you want to join this college, then don't expect the placement cell to help you out. The ROI (return on investment) is about 20% of fees if you are lucky enough to get a good job.

Don't waste your career at Swami Vivekananda institute of Science and technology.

Placements: Placement is just a fantasy word when it comes to Swami Vivekananda Institute of Science and Technology. The placement cell in my college is absolutely inactive and really doesn't bother to bring good companies for campusing. Majority of the companies they bring are fake. They won't offer you salary and probably you won't get paid after a month. Maximum package they offer is 1 to 1.2lakhs per annum. But if you see the college website, there you'll see list of many companies such as LNT, Infosys,...

I am dissatisfied because campus wise college is bad but infrastructure is good. Faculty is bad.

Placements: There is no good placements in my college. They offer small scale companies placement only. They only make a focus on money not on placements. MNC companies can't come to my college. If you want a good placement your goal is to join in a good company don't join in my college.

Please don't join this college if you are looking for better placements and facu.

Placements: If you visit the college official page you will find that various renowned companies like accenture, cts, tcs, hul, L&T visited the college. But all this are lie, they bring companies that you never heard of and about 80% of the companies are fake. If you want to join this college then don't expect anything at the end of your final year.

Placements: The placement in our college is very much better for mechanical engineering and other streams as last year, 86% of our seniors of mechanical engineering and 96% of computer science engineering students got placed in very much reputed companies. The companies which visit the campus for the placements were Mercedes Benz, Mahindra, Force, etc, and trainee engineer post was provided to the students. 100% of the students got the internship from the college, and the highest stipend offered during the internship was Rs.7,000/-, and the lowest was Rs.1,500/-.
