Placements: I was placed at the Urban Timer Commerce Pvt Ltd as a business process associate through the off-campus drive. And, I worked here for 8 months and then I opened my own firm. The college made me bold in term of my knowledge. I continuously faced challenges, but the faculty members there helped me a lot and eased out my journey for becoming an engineer.
Placements: The placements here are not too good nor too bad. Overall, it is good. Here, some good company come, but some are fake. The companies like the Wipro, Infosys, Huawei, HCL, come here for the recruitment. Also, many drives and campus placements are also there. The average salary package is Rs. 1.8 to 2.0 lakhs per annum. They also organise pool campus drives. They also help students to get a job even after their completion of the college.
Placements: The placement cell needs to be much more dedicated and needs to work on bringing better IT companies than BPO. For 2015 batch I can say none of the major IT giants visited our campus for placements. The maximum was pool campus drives. Many of my friends including me we got placed in IT companies through off-campus drives. There is no such internship or stipend facility for students in our institute. The students and facilities relations are quite good. My suggestion is for the placement cell whi...
Placements: As per I have seen, many of my seniors have got good jobs. 4 of our seniors got a job in JSW. The package of 3 LPA was offered to the students. Few days before, Digi Bank came and selected 3 or 4 candidates from CS department. But, I have not seen any core company in our college recruiting the students. It is really an unsatisfaction for me.
Placements: The placements for the first pass out batch was awesome. The highest package was 6.5 lacs per annum. In our batch, the companies visited the college has offered 3.5 lacs per annum. The company visited our campus was TCS, Wipro, Hilti, Gee Limited, etc. The percentage of the student got placement was 50-60. Most of the student goes for IT job. 100 percentage student got the internship. No stipend was offered to the students for the internship. There is a placement cell, but it is very much corrup...
Placements: The placements have been surprisingly good in our year. Most of the pool campus though, but still the turnout was good. I got placed in the multiple companies. About, 90% of the students got placed, if I'm not mistaken. The average salary offered according to me was around 3 LPA. In pool campus, we had Persistent, Yodlee etc.
Placements: The 2014 batch received good placements. The several companies visited the campus. Metcon, Malcolm, Kiswok, Tata power, NDA, etc., were some in the mechanical sector. I was amongst the first lot of students to get placed. Plus, it also allowed me to work from 7th semester itself by giving NOC.
Placements: Big companies like the Wipro, Amazon, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra came for the campus placements. Most of the students got placed via campus placements. Startup companies also hired many engineers from here. Seniors also got placed in various good companies and Rs. 10,000 was the minimum package offered, whereas the companies like MuSigma, Yardley, Broadsoft, etc., offered as high as Rs. 7 LPA. Also, Cocubes and Amcat courses helped to broader our placement companies.
Placements: The placements were quite poor, and we had two senior batches before us. I got placed in Wipro. But, for most of us, the off-campus was the only choice. Till now, it is same for my juniors. It needs improvements as we know it is important to get placed after the completion of 4 years of college.
Placements: The placement cell is not a strong one. Most of the computer science student got placed. But the other branches do not get many chances. Most of the students need to try for the off-campus on their own effort. Around 50% of the total student get selected by the direct campus placement, though it is hard to tell whether the number will increase in future. The average salary offered by most of the company is not good enough, so many of the students try for other companies. Most of the campus place...
Placements: Placements of the senior batch as well as our batch were poor. Basically, KPO and BPO type of jobs were offered during the 4th year. There was no core company placement, only a few IT companies came other than BPOs. The packages offered were not more than 20,000 per month.
Placements: Many companies conducted on-campus drive for all the branches but their salary package was below standard as a B.Tech student. Some good companies came but they have taken very few students. Mainly IT companies and some BPOs conducted on-campus drive. The college should bring reputed companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys.
Placements: It is good but not so great, though. Companies with a basic 3-4 lacs package come every year and many students get placed. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, etc visited for placements. A few get placed with a package of 5-6 lacs also. Overall, placements are nice, One who struggles will get placed eventually.
Placements: For our batch placement is not so good. Only 40% got placed till now. The previous year (2016), 60% got placed. They are mainly offering 1.8 lakh annually for sales post and for software engineering, they are offering 2.4/1.8 lakh according to the company. Mainly Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Think and Learn and Wipro have visited here till now. 20% students got internships from the college. The highest was 2.2 lakh and the lowest was 1.2 lakh offered in average. ...
Placements: The college placements are not up to the mark. 50% students have been placed from the senior batch. The highest salary is offered by Cognizant-2.8 lacs/annually and the lowest salary is offered by Voltas-2 lacs/annually. TCS, IBM, Indian Navy, Volta, Samsung, etc. have visited the campus. Jobs were offered to mainly marketing and management students. There is no internship program in our college. All things are very good in our college but campusing is very poor. Many big companies visit but the...
Placements: The placement for 2016 batch was indeed good. Almost 80% students got placed and many students even got 2-3 jobs. The highest package was 4.2 LPA offered by an MNC. Even a Kolkata-based startup company offered 3.6 LPA and took 4 students. Some people even got a stipend of 5,000/month which increased in the due course of time. It is true that there were no "brands" at our time but many startup companies came.
Placements: Placement is good here. List of companies who visited our college are as below- Core: Asahi India, Entraco Power, Hydrotech Engineers, Hercules Automobile, Mikuni India. IT: Tech Mahindra, Kreeti Technologies, Mindhour, Wipro and various BPOs like Value Prospect Consultancy, Easy Coach etc.
Placements: Almost 70% student already placed. One student got 3-4 job offers. The highest salary was offered by IBM at 6.8 lacs/annum and the lowest salary was offered by TCS at 3.2 lacs/annum. All companies like TCS, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, Easy Bee, IBM, Infosys, Indian Navy, Metro Railway, Elmech Engineering came to offer the job. A lot of students got an internship from college also.
Placements: As far as the faculty members are concerned, the college has one of the best EEE faculty in West Bengal, but in terms of the placements, it's so underrated. Maximum of the people, got good jobs from the pool campusing. but the list of on-campus companies is not so delightful. Hardly 2-3 level 5 software companies came into the on-campus and the rest are wastage. Maximum job package offers by the company is 6 lakhs and the minimum is one lakh per annum.
Placements: If anyone is looking for placements, I think that it is not a good idea opting for this college then. Mostly BPO/BPS companies have visited the campus. and if anyone is in the mechanical stream it is better to forget about getting placed in a core company. The salary offered by the BPO companies is around 1.5 lakh INR at locations like Delhi-NCR and Mumbai. Overall, the campus placements are very poor.
