Chandigarh Design Institute SXILL recognized at EduSpark Awards 2023

July 3, 2023: Along with over 20 other distinguished recipients of the Award, SXILL (School of Experience Illusion and Life Learnings), which was created by Technocrat Neelu Kapoor and Worldskills IDT Expert Prof. Vineet Raj Kapoor, was recognised for its "contribution to AVGC Education." The only institution from Tricity to be on the Award List is SXILL. An esteemed committee led by Dr Anil Sahastrabuddhe, former chairman of the AICTE and current chairman of the Government of India-established NETF (National Education Technology Forum), presented SXILL with the Most Innovative Curriculum Award for 2023.

The second EduSpark Summit and Awards 2023 were presented by AnimationXpress on June 24, 2023 in Bandra, Mumbai, at the Sheila Gopal Raheja Auditorium. It is noteworthy that SXILL is one of the select few institutions to have taken home a prize in both the first and second Eduspark Awards. Today, SXILL is the industry leader in introducing upskilling under the direct mentoring and direction of Industry Experts in the Animation, UXUI Design, and Game Design Sectors. Its courses are entirely practical and experiential, and they also focus on developing life skills like communication, critical thinking, and other soft skills.

Additionally, in March 2022, FICCI invited Prof. Vineet Raj Kapoor, SXILL, to represent the Indian perspective at the Round Table on "Fostering Skilling ecosystem by exchange of Knowledge, Service, & Resources" at the Dubai Expo. The Industry-Academia round table discussion was sponsored by the Media & Entertainment Skills Council (MESC), one of the pioneering councils for skill training in the M&E area, on March 23 at Dubai Expo 2020 in Dubai. He was also invited to be the keynote speaker at a World Design Organization-sponsored event in Moscow, Russia on June 29, 2202. He also served on the prescreening jury for the Smart India Hackathon 2022 in India, the Eurasian Future Skills Competition in Russia, the Khabarovsk International Competition in Khabarovsk, and the BRICS Future Skills Challenge in China, among other competitions.

Chandigarh Design Institute SXILL Bags National Award At Eduspark

May 30, 2022: SXILL (School of Experience, Illusion, and Life Learnings), founded by Technocrat Ms. Neelu Kapoor and Worldskills Design Mentor Prof. Vineet Raj Kapoor, was recognised for its "contribution to AVGC Education" alongside IIT Mumbai, NID Ahmedabad, Toonz Trivandrum, Media and Entertainment Skill Council, Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute, and 20 other illustrious award winners. In the Tricity, SXILL is the sole institute on the Award List.

The first EduSpark Summit and Awards were held at AnimationXpress. The Summit had a hybrid style, with an online summit on May 5 and 6 that featured about 50 notable speakers, including Vineet Raj Kapoor, Mentor SXILL, who was a panellist on Gamification. On the 14th of May, the summit was held on the ground at The Lalit in Mumbai. Utside hosted the EduSpark Summit and Awards, with Associate Partners Cosmos Creative Academy and Wacom India, Industry Partners Ramesh Sippy Academy of Cinema and Entertainment, Asifa India, Huion, and Career Guidance Partner Creative Multimedia as well.

The honours were given to the institutions and individuals that helped keep the AVGC education banner flying high. A variety of prizes were given out by the sponsors prior to the awards presentation, including Wacom tablets and a book called Careers in Digital Media from Creative Multimedia. The erudite received a magnificent victory plaque and a shawl from AnimationXpress as part of the EduSpark Awards.

All of the top people from India's film, animation, and visual effects industries, as well as established studios, were in attendance at the award ceremony. The institutions to be honoured on the day were hand-picked by AnimationXpress CEO Anil Wanwari, as well as a select group of Curators and Jury members.
