Satisfied with the teachers and there are good placements.

Placements: There's a placement cell in our college where many big companies come to hire students of the first year, second year and third-year students. The companies like Capital first, Google and many more companies, visited the college. The highest salary package was 10LPA. Our college also has summer internships for students.

Satisfied with the campus, as there are no mandatory attendance criteria.

Placements: The campus placements are average, and no students enrol for it as no proper placements opportunities are available. Moreover, jobs from some big 4 companies are offered, but only to the rankers, so, all in all, I would say it is not that good for placements.

Absolutely satisfied with the college and faculty. Good placements in the 2015 batch.

Placements: The placements were good enough to give you great scope in future. The students who were placed were only 10%. The highest package of salary was in the sales and marketing department of the company, which was Rs. 8.50 LPA. The average package was related to the post of a manager/supervisor, which was Rs. 5 LPA. The lowest package was for the normal worker post, which was Rs. 2.75 LPA. There were many companies that visited the campus. The companies were Google, TCS, Wipro, Mahindra and Mahindra,...

The companies like Tommy Hilfiger, HDFC, etc. visited the campus. Total 30% of students got the internship from the college campus.

I am not happy with 3 years experience in this college & would have been better if chosen other one.

Placements: In the last 2 to 3 years, what I have seen is, the big MNCs coming to Sydenham College for direct campus placements. In the previous academic year (i.e., 2016-17), KPMG and E&Y have participated in campus recruitment and selected many candidates. I don't know the percent of students who got the internship from college neither do I know how much lowest, average or highest stipend is offered.

Well established brand and quality development of the students.

Placements: Fantastic placement opportunities for graduate students because of the strong brand name. Various profiles are offered in marketing, operations, and finance streams in corporates as well as startups. The college will guide you and support you throughout the process.

We are to be called Sydenhamies.

Placements: Our college does not have any placement facilities. We were supposed to find our own job as there were no campus interviews in our college. There were a few opportunities for students doing chartered accountancy and many students got placement from the college as an article assistant.

Excellent college with a vast history.

Placements: Placements were excellent. We all got good companies coming to our college and excellent packages were offered to freshers. All the students from my batch were placed in good companies with excellent packages. We were given a fair chance to choose the company of our choice and preferences.

A college which will stay with you forever.

Placements: Placements are really good. Students got placed in good companies like KPMG, Nielsen, E&Y, etc. The average salary offered to the students is around 3 lacs annually. Almost 80% of the students are placed every year. If you get selected in the placement cell then it's the best experience you will get it. There is even internship placement which helps you build yourself.

Best college in teaching. Best college for providing sports facilities.

Placements: Placement in this college is nice. Banks like ICICI, etc. come here for recruiting. There is a great chance to explore yourself here. There is a great chance for the students to expose themselves to the co-corporate life. Various side courses are also organised to develop their skills, for example, speaking skills, computer skills, accounting skills, etc.

Good infrastructure but lacks at placements and good faculty.

Placements: Placements for BMS students are very good. Big 4 audit firms in India select students via interviews. You can easily get placed in small and mid-sized CA firms generally getting a package ranging from 2 - 3.5 LPA. Every year, the college pins up the notices of campus placements after which interviews are conducted by banks, NBFCs and some companies.

Quality education with good infrastructure. Dedication of Professors towards their students is unmatched. The campus is awesome and to refresh student, there are events and seminars held at regular interval. Being a Government aided the fee of the college is also reasonable and for SC/ST, the fee is only a few hundreds.

Sydenham, was a first home to me where I was introduced to the real world. As a first Commerce College of Asia, it carries rich history and heritage which is a matter of pride. It not only teaches Commerce but also helps one to understand the various traits which are required in the professional world.

I did BBM at Sydenham College, Mumbai. Under Mumbai University this course is known as BMS. This is most in demand course out there and Sydenham is one of the top colleges. They provides you extensive amount of exposure and make you take a lot of responsibilities. They also provides you with placement facilities. Overall the college is good and it could be recommended to others.
