Short review of SLS Pune.
Placements: As I'm in the first year, I don't know much about the placements, but what I know after talking with the seniors is that most students who apply for placements get one. The average package that anyone can get from SLS Pune lies between 800k and 1000k rupees.
Infrastructure: The college provides every basic amenity, including Wi-Fi and a smart board, and the only thing they lack is they do not have ACs in classrooms. And the campus itself is not a very big one. I live in the hostel, and in the hostel, we have to share a room with 2 people. Which is a slight problem, and the food of the hostel is adequate to eat on a few occasions as it is full of oil. The college canteen is great, and the sports infrastructure is decent, as they have a football court, basketball, lawn tennis, and volleyball courts to play on, and medical facilities are also good.
Faculty: The teaching faculty is great and very knowledgeable. A few of the faculty members graduated from the top foreign universities and have experience as high as 30 years of teaching, and they are very student-friendly; they help us with all our doubts, and they have also given us their personal mobile numbers and mail in cases of emergency and for any help outside of the college. The difficulty of semester exams is moderate and gives examinations with 100 percent options available.
Other: Several events take place in SLS Pune, which include Symphoria for first-year students and SYMBHAV, their biggest cultural event.

LL.M. in Business and Corporate Law - Batch of 2023

5Placements5Infrastructure5Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Satisfied with the faculties of this college.
Placements: The placement cell at the university works tirelessly to ensure students receive top-notch opportunities, forging strong relationships with a variety of reputable companies. Leveraging the university's well-established reputation in the state, they attract a range of prominent brands for campus placements. These companies seek candidates who not only meet their technical and academic standards but also demonstrate the required skills and adaptability for the job. The placement cell ensures that students are well-prepared through guidance on resume building, interview techniques, and career development, helping them maximize their potential and secure rewarding positions with top employers.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure includes three sharing hostels with 9 Indian toilets and 1 western toilet shared by 30 people, and 6 shower stalls shared among 30 students. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks are provided; however, breakfast is inadequate, offering only a single egg and 100 ml of subpar milk. Lunch is decent if it includes chicken; otherwise, it's just gravy with no protein. Snacks are limited to sugary water and leftover vegetable samosas. They charge 20,000 every semester for mess food, which is disappointing. I highly recommend only getting paneer and chicken from the mess and avoiding anything else. There are better and affordable options outside for good nutrition and health. Renting a PG is the worst decision a student can make; you miss out on making lifelong friends, enjoying time with seniors, and experiencing the joy of living independently. Living with people from different cultures helps you grow as a community.
Faculty: The faculty is qualified and quite knowledgeable. Any faculty member is appointed after giving a session to the students and being reviewed by them. The exams are based on the semester, and it's not hard to pass if one has studied; otherwise, it will be difficult. The exams are conducted in December and again in May-June, and we also get internship leave for a month. The college has 10-15 qualified faculty members, and we have a library with a knowledgeable librarian.
Other: This is the best law school you can ask for; it's all in one. In terms of facilities, it has a fully luxurious campus and world-class amenities. This institute will provide you with lots of exposure, as most activities are organized by student committees, allowing for significant learning during these years. The institute hosts guest lectures, cultural and sports activities, live band programs, and moments to cherish for a lifetime.

Good college, good placement, good faculty.
Placements: The placement scenario at this college is decent but could be improved. With about 10 out of 400 students securing placements, the success rate is roughly 25%. Top recruiters like AZB and Khaitan offer opportunities, with an average starting salary of Rs. 700,000. Nearly all students participate in internships, which is a good sign of professional development.
Infrastructure: The college provides all basic facilities, ensuring students have access to essential resources for their education. However, the hostel services are subpar, with issues such as inadequate maintenance and below-average living conditions. Improvements in this area are necessary.
Faculty: The faculty is excellent, offering quality teaching and helpful guidance. The curriculum is regularly updated, ensuring it remains relevant and practical. Additionally, semester exams are easy to manage, thanks to structured coursework and well-designed assessments.
Other: Overall, the college is good, but you have to work hard to achieve what the college is capable of providing.

LL.M. in Business and Corporate Law - Batch of 2024
4.2
4Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
Qualified faculty, relevant curriculum, and strong infrastructure.
Placements: Around 70-75% of LL.M. Business & Corporate Law students were placed. The highest package was around 10 LPA, the lowest around 4 LPA, and the average package was 6-7 LPA. Top recruiters include AZB & Partners, Trilegal, and ICICI Bank. Around 60-65% secured internships at firms like Shardul Amarchand and Khaitan & Co. Common roles include Legal Associate, Corporate Lawyer, and Compliance Officer.
Infrastructure: Symbiosis Law School offers great infrastructure. Wi-Fi is strong, classrooms are modern, and the library is well-stocked with legal resources. Hostel rooms are decent but a bit cramped. The mess food is manageable, though canteen options are better. Medical facilities are adequate, and the campus has good sports facilities like a gym and courts for basketball and badminton.
Faculty: At Symbiosis Law School, the teachers are well-qualified and approachable. The teaching quality is solid, with a good balance of theory and practical insights. The curriculum is relevant and industry-focused, helping students prepare for corporate law careers. Exams are challenging but fair, with a pass rate of around 85-90%.

I am very satisfied with faculty members and placements of this college.
Placements: Placements are very good. Mostly penultimate and final-year students get placed in tier-1 law firms. Few students also pass government exams like PCSJ and UPSC. Top recruiting companies are Khaitan, Trilegal, DSK Legal, etc. Approximately 40-50% of students got placed in this course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is decent. The library is available 24X7. Our campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Hostel facilities are great. The food served in the mess is average.
Faculty: Teachers are excellent. They are very supportive and helpful. Our college provides good education. The course curriculum is relevant to make students ready for the industry. Semester exams are moderate. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: Events and fests are conducted in this college. Various competitions are held, such as moot courts, Trial Advocacy, paper presentations, MUNs, etc. Our campus crowd is average. Scholarships are provided to those students who are not financially strong. Student exchange programs are also conducted for great opportunities.

My thoughts halfway through my life at Symbiosis Law School, Pune.
Placements: I am in my third year and as of yet, have not reached the stage to require a placement. However, I can speak about the placements at SLS, Pune. The placements at SLS Pune are carried out by the Placement Cell, which works towards creating employment opportunities for its students. It organizes job fairs, campus interviews and other activities to connect students with potential employers. The average salary package offered to graduates is 6-7 Lacs per annum, with offers going as high as 20 Lacs per annum. Our college has several tie-ups with NGOs and leading law firms to ensure we the students get the best employment opportunities.
Infrastructure: Symbiosis Law School, Pune has a very engaging campus. From facilities for several sports like Football, basketball, volleyball, tennis, badminton to its own health care center to a canteen with great food for students to snack on during their break. The rest of the college is loaded with facilities to make learning easy for students. From classrooms equipped with Smart TVs to a strong wi-fi connection all over the campus and a state-of-the-art library, students are provided with the best facilities to study.
Faculty: The professors at SLS, Pune are highly qualified and knowledgeable in their respective fields and share that perspective with students in an engaging way that makes learning interesting. The curriculum is relevant and keeps us up to date with the latest in the legal world which prepares us to step into the industry with the latest knowledge. We have semester exams which are hand written. The papers are not very difficult and mainly test our application skills based on the legal concepts learnt in lectures.
Other: I chose BBA LLB (Hons. ) so I can enter the corporate world with legal experience and work in that field to gain expertise and financial gain with this.
