SSCA Pune Admission 2023: Eligibility, Fee, Application & Selection Criteria

Diploma in Bakery & Patisserie Skills registrations are open and the last date to apply is Jan 13, 2024. Further, the Eligibility Assessment Test & Personal Interview will be held on Dec 19, 2023 and Jan 5, 2024. Additionally, the course will commence on Jan 18, 2024.

Symbiosis School of Culinary Arts (SSCA), Pune is a constituent of Symbiosis International deemed to be University (SIU). The institute is known for its best faculty members which include Master Chef Sanjeev Kapoor along with 20 other faculty members. The institute offers a full-time BSc programme in Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management, and a diploma programme in Bakery & Patisserie Skills. SSCA Pune Admission Process 2023

SSCA Pune admissions are conducted online through the official website of the institute. Admission process begins in January every year.

SSCA Pune BSc Admission 2023

The institute offers a full-time three-year BSc programme, consisting of six semesters. BSc is offered in two different specialisations. BSc (Hospitality Management) has a seat intake of 60 students per batch. Name of the specialisations along with the eligibility criteria are mentioned below:

Eligibility: HSc in any stream from a state board with an aggregate of 50% aggregate

SSCA Pune DBPS Admission 2023

Apart from the above programme, the institute offers a Diploma in Bakery and Patisserie Skills with a seat intake of 40 students per batch. DBPS is offered with a course duration of one year. Candidates will be selected based on HSC scores and the performance in WAT and PI.

SSCA Pune Application Process 2023

Candidates applying for admission need to pay an application fee of Rs 1,250. The course-wise application process is given below:

For BSc admission:

1. Registration for eligibility assessment test and admission on the official website
2. Pay the application fee of Rs 1,250
3. Select suitable date for admission process
4. Admission process (Entrance exams and PI-WAT)
5. Merit list announcement
6. Payment of the first instalment of the fee

For DBPS admission:

1. Visit the official website of the institute, www.ssca.edu.in
2. Click on “admission open for DBPS”
3. Fill the registration form by entering required details
4. Submit the application form along with a passport-size photograph
5. Pay an application fee of Rs 1,250 online via debit/ credit cards or net banking

• Marksheet of Class 10 and Class 12
• Certificate of Class 10 and Class 12
• Character certificate
• Transfer certificate
• Migration certificate

SSCA Pune Seat Reservation 

In each programme, some of the seats are reserved for SC, ST and PwD category candidates. Given below is the category-wise reservation criteria:

Note: Apart from the above reservations, two seats in each programme are reserved for Kashmiri migrants.

SSCA Pune Scholarships

SSCA offers a UG Merit Scholarship under SIU policy for all UG programmes. Given below are the details regarding this scholarship:

• Students who are declared as the topper of the first semester are eligible for this scholarship
• A student must have a minimum GPA of 8.50 to apply for this scholarship
• In every specialisation, the scholarship will be given to a single candidate who has topped the examination.
• The students will be rewarded with 50% academic fee under this scholarship
