The college is good, and I recommend it.
Placements: 50% of students got placed. I am not sure about the packages offered to students. Infosys, TCS and many other companies come here. The college is mainly meant for discipline, and the college students must always be in formally dressed, and shoes and tie are compulsory. Many teachers are very supportive.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities are very good. The classrooms are cleaned daily, and each classroom has fans. The library is opened daily during college hours, and we can borrow books from there. In the hostel, different food items are provided, as students from different regions study here.
Faculty: The teachers are really very helpful and supportive when it comes to exams. The teachers are trained well and are very good. They come to each student and interact with them. Maintaining the required attendance is mandatory.
Other: BCA is mainly about computers, and I love it. We learn many computer languages.

    Our college is very good.
Placements: In the situation of covid, only a few students got placed in the starting of the 6th semester. The highest salary package offered may differ according to students. The average salary package offered would be 2.5-3.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.8-2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies of our college are TTK and One Point One. Students got an internship on their own, and few got it with the help of teachers. Almost 50% of the students got an internship. Top roles offered to the students are application developer, full-stack developer, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college facilities are very good. We had Wi-Fi, well-maintained labs and good classrooms. There is a well-maintained library where we used to get the textbooks of different authors. I am from Bangalore, so I used to stay with my parents. The quality of the food available is very good. Medical facilities and equipment required for sports and games are also good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, highly qualified and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is very good, and teachers used to repeat it if not understood, even for a single student. The course curriculum is 60% relevant. So, we had to do some extra courses to understand it more which the college itself provides with a small amount of charge. Our course makes students ready for the industry until they study and make a good effort.
Other: I liked technology and the growth in technology, so I have chosen this field. The best thing is you can learn different programming languages in different semesters. I wish there would be more topics, and the topics explained in depth would improve the course. In our college, we get to do both studies and enjoyment, and T John is the best at that. We had a fest once a year, and events are conducted accordingly. The campus crowd is very good. Students here come from all over India and outside India. You get a scholarship, but help from college will be done from their side too. All the extracurricular activities are conducted on Fridays with different clubs, and you get to choose which one you want.

It makes people employable, not Master the art of employability.
Placements: 1. 25-35% of the students got placement offers. 2. The highest salary range- 1.6-1.8 Lacs per annum. the lowest salary range- 1.2-1.4 Lacs per annum 3. IBM, WIPRO, etc. offered the job. 4. Helpdesk roles were offered. 6. 15-25 percentage of the students did internship from companies like Wipro etc.
Infrastructure: 1. Tjohn College is an esteemed organisation with a nurtured and clean environment coped up with satisfied infrastructure. Almost everything that is required for the completion of the course is available. 2. The quality of the hostel is also maintained properly and effective steps are taken for it's hygiene. Cleaning is maintained within an interval, daily cleaning is also provided. Cleanliness and quality of food is specially checked and maintained, medical facilities comes into play as soon as it needs. Yearly organised sports, fest, industrial visits and number of guest lectures are attended by all of it's students.
Faculty: 1. The quality of teaching was not compromised, but off late there had been some issues with the style of teaching. Yet there isn't any fault of it's faculty members because University never asks to learn out of the box. 2. This is a greater concern of today's education system, the curriculum is as old as the "spinning wheel" and not a percentage updation or competition to the current changing market industry of IT due to which we are not industry ready. A very sad truth in today's education system is that, EVERYONE BECOMES EMPLOYABLE, BUT A FEW Masters THE ART OF EMPLOYABILITY.
Other: 1. I chose to study BCA as my degree because I gained an interest in the field of IT long back from the initial days of learning in detail about the career. 2. More practical knowledge about the current market trends is given. 3. Regular events, intercollegiate fests are organised and gives opportunity to participate in other college fests also.
