Budget-friendly college, satisfied facility, and good placement in the last 5 years.

Placements: 96% of students from CSBS placed in TCS,Wipro, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, and many other IT companies this year. They got a good package. The highest package of this year is 9 LPA and the lowest package of this year is 3.3 LPA. And the average package is 4.8 LPA. The top recruiter of this year is TCS.

Infrastructure: College campus is neat and clean. The classrooms are big and comfortable to study. The whole campus is WiFi facilitated. The labs are fully AC. The library is so beautiful and a lot of books for Engineering studies are available. The hostel is also neat and clean. The rooms are 2 or 3 shared. The food quality is good. And we get food 3 times a day.

Faculty: The teachers are very calm and friendly to the students. The teachers give us high-level contents in simple words. The course curriculum is good and industry-ready . The semester exams are slightly hard. But those who attend the classes attentively, the exam is not heard by them/her.

Other: I chose this course because the course is about computer science and business systems. So we can be software engineers and we can handle clients and we will be industry-ready.

Placements: 80 percent students get placed in our course in college. The highest package was 32 lacs in last decade. And average package offered approx. 4 lacs in our course in our college. Top recruiters are TCS, Capgemini, Cognizant, Accenture, Wipro, etc. They offered various roles.

Infrastructure: The college's infrastructure is very good, and campus life is also good. It is located in Newtown near Biswa Bangla Gate. But campus is not big. Faculties are average. But some faculties are very experienced. And their teaching quality is also good. Yes, here hostel facilities are available.

Faculty: Yes, some teachers are helpful, but not all. Some are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality was average. Yes, this course curriculum is relevant to the market. Yes, it makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams in this college are very difficult. Makaut conducts the exam.

Other: I chose this course because of it's market demand. Teaching techniques would be better or improve about this course.

The college in our area is good.

Placements: 20 percent of students are placed. The top companies are Accenture, Tiger Analytics, Polycab Sales, and Pinnacle Infotech. The top role offered in my course is sales trainee. The highest package is 4 LPA; the average package is around 3 LPA. 0 percent of students got internships from my course.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is decent, the labs are average, and the classrooms are nice, but the library is huge and has a large number of books. I don't use the hostel at our college. The quality of food available in the canteen is pretty decent. Sports and games are good.

Faculty: The teachers are pretty helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is pretty good. This course is curriculum-relevant. In my opinion, the students are pretty decent and ready for the industry. The semester exams are pretty difficult at this college. 55% is the pass percentage.

Other: I have an attraction to electric machines, power systems, etc. From my school life, those are the reasons I chose this course. I gained lots of knowledge about electrical systems, and I think this is the best thing about my course.

Review of Techno International New Town.

Placements: Almost 70% of students got placed. The placement is average, so don't expect anything good in terms of placement. The highest package was around 12 lakh, the lowest was around 3 lakh, and the average package was around 4.5 lakh. The top recruiter is TCS. They don't provide internships; you will have to find opportunities for internships on your own.

Infrastructure: Facilities are average, and the infrastructure is improving day by day. They provide a fully Wi-Fi campus, the library is quite good, and the labs are getting better day by day. The boys' hostel is quite good, and the food is average. There is a canteen in the college whose food is good.

Faculty: Some of the teachers are helpful, while some are not; some of them force you to maintain attendance. The curriculum doesn't make students industry-ready. Passing the semester exam is not tough, but getting good marks is tough. The pass percentage is not good; 55-60% is the passing percentage in the first, second, and third years.

Other: I chose this course because I had no option left. The best thing about my course is that it will be in demand in the future. They will focus on practical knowledge rather than theoretical, which will be more beneficial for students. They organize technical and cultural fests in the months of February and March, and the campus is quite good.

Absolutely dissatisfied regarding placements.

Placements: There are 200 students enrolled in my CSE batch (2021-25), and only 5 of them got internships. Placements are not so good. If you come to this college, you have to work hard by yourself. The faculty is good, but you need to approach them for help. Pool campus placement opportunities will be provided, meaning all Techno India group students sit for one company. During my time, companies like Deltax, Accenture, EY (hired only female candidates), and IBM (only females eligible) came. If you're a girl, then sure, come here because girls are given priority regarding placements.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available, and labs happen regularly. The Tint and SNU libraries are the same, and you have to work hard. All the lab faculty are good, and proper maintenance is done in the labs every year. Normal classrooms are provided with no AC, only fans. The campus size is also small, but in Kolkata, most colleges are not large.

Faculty: Yes, teachers are helpful, but only for your semester and internal examinations. If you want to get into a big company and achieve career growth, you have to self-study and pursue off-campus placements. The teachers have expertise, but they won’t share all their knowledge with you since they only focus on the syllabus and have no idea about the current market scenario.

Other: Fest and Mauj Masti are very good in this college.

Review of Techno International Newtown.

Placements: 80% are placed in the 2023 pass-out batch but due to the market down in the 2024 batch there are only 40% placed students till now but chances are good at the end of the semester of the other getting placed and for 2025, chances are also good for the placement and future.

Infrastructure: Coarse is good but there are no hostels inside the campus so hostels are one of the drawbacks of the college and there is also a small campus so you cannot enjoy campus life that much. There is a decent campus to sit on or talk about some enjoyment and two buildings are there, one entirely for students.

Faculty: ECE faculty are good, cooperative and knowledgeable, but practical experience is not at that level. They are good at their fields but there is no talk of new ideas, experiments, the outer world, the world of industries, or doing something new other than studying and writing exams.

Other: ECE has scope in a variety of fields, and semiconductors are the future.
