Is BHM (Hotel Management) at Techno Main Salt Lake a Good Choice?

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary of the pros and cons:

    Placement and Job Opportunities

    * Around 50% of students get placed every year, with salaries ranging from INR20,000 to INR30,000 per month.
    * Top recruiting companies include Tata and AMRI.
    * However, some students noted that most placements are not in hospital sectors, and many students end up finding jobs themselves after completing the course.

    Course Curriculum and Teaching Quality

    * Faculty members are generally helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable.
    * The course curriculum is relevant and prepares students for the hospitality industry.
    * Semester exams are manageable if students study properly.

    Infrastructure and Facilities

    * Infrastructure is average, with air-conditioned classrooms and good practical labs.
    * Wi-Fi is limited, available mainly for faculty members.
    * Hostel facilities are not available, but PG options are available nearby.

    Student Life

    * Events and fests are regularly organized in the college.
    * Food quality in canteens is poor.
    * Living conditions in PGs can be subpar.

Overall, while there are some drawbacks, the programme seems to offer reasonable job prospects and a relevant education in hotel management. However, students should be aware of the limitations in terms of placement opportunities and living arrangements outside of campus.

    It is an average college.
Placements: Around 20% of students got placed in this course. It is very tough to crack exams. We need to find jobs ourselves. The average salary package offered was 3 LPA. Many students got internships in this course.
Infrastructure: Facilities are average. The infrastructure is not good. I would rate it 3 stars for facilities. Our college does not provide hostel facilities. PGs are available nearby our campus. Canteen is also not good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. Semester exams are difficult because we face out of syllabus questions. The teaching quality is great. If we study well, we can score good marks.
Other: I chose this course because fo my interest in it. Many events and fests are conducted in this college.

Not worth the money as we don't get proper placements.
Placements: Only few got placed that too not in hospital sectors. Unpaid internships are provided but not so good. After getting a decent marks from your semester exam you still don't get a proper reputated placement from this college but only they want is money .
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not that great, AC don't work We don't have hostels you need to find pgs or rent flats or rooms and trust me don't go for pgs the food is disgusting and you cant live as you want in a PG. The librarians of this college is so rude and know my experience with this college is too bad.
Faculty: Faculty members are good. Some are based though The course curriculum is relevent. But they don't prepare the students well for the job interviews neither do they groom students The semester exams are not that difficult but you never know from where the questions may come .

It is the best college for a hospital management course.
Placements: In our college, almost 50% of students are placed every year from our department. Students are placed in various sectors like hospitals, restaurants, five-star hotels, and event management centers. The average salary offered is Rs. 20,000 per month and the highest salary offered is Rs. 30,000 per month. Almost all students get internships. Top roles offered are event managers, receptionists, and assistants.
Infrastructure: The college hostel is average. Wi-Fi is not available for students. It is available in the computer department for students to use for their studies. The college hostel has average facilities. The quality of food is average, tasty, and hygienic. Various sports and games like cricket and badminton are encouraged.
Faculty: Our teachers are well-qualified in their fields. They are knowledgeable, and their teaching quality is outstanding. The course is job-oriented. Students who complete the course are well prepared to work in their field of study. Each semester, exams are given and almost all students pass them. The course curriculum is adequate and satisfactory.
Other: I chose this college because of my interest in the courses it offered. The fee structure is affordable to me.

    This college is very good.
Placements: Almost 98% of students are placed in our college. The average salary package offered ranges from 2.5 LPA - 3 LPA. Tata and Amri are the top recruiting companies. Students are getting internships in the Appolo clinic, and half of the students do not want to do that. Hospital administration department or receptionist are the roles offered.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is enabled in this college. There is a computer laboratory for our course. Classrooms are also good. Air-conditioners and fans are available in the classrooms. Library is also available, and several books are provided. The food served in the hostel is good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and friendly. Our course curriculum makes students industry-ready, because of the grooming class. Semester exams are not difficult, if students study properly. The pass percentage is 99% in the previous year.

I am satisfied because of the faculty, good placements, good infrastructure, and facilities.
Placements: In the second year, we did industrial training in five or four-star hotels for six months. Out of 28 students in this department, almost all of us were placed in five-star properties. Only a few of our classmates wanted to pursue an MBA. So they didn't appear in placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this course is quite good. The classrooms are air-conditioned, and you can see an amazing view from the window of the classroom. Rooms are very neat and clean with proper maintenance. Wi-Fi is not available. Practical labs are really good. The front office, housekeeping, and F & B service labs are amazing. From the library, you can get all the books you want, but you have to return them within the specified date. I am a day scholar.
Faculty: Teachers are really very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Our HOD helped us a lot before the exams. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students ready for the industry. Semester examinations are not as difficult as in any other university. You just have to follow the class, notes, and books. You can get good marks easily.

I am satisfied with facilities, average placements and good infrastructure.
Placements: Almost 50% of the students got placed, and the rest of them wanted to complete their masters. Our course was basically related to hospitals. Students have to go and find internships or jobs on their own, so 100% of the students could get an internship.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was very good. The library had all sorts of books to get knowledge. They had installed jammer such that students could peacefully read. Our classrooms infrastructure was huge enough to accommodate 60 students. Wi-Fi was available only for faculty members.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college were helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Teachers had already got exposure to the field, and then they joined the college to teach. The course curriculum was relevant enough since teachers taught both practically and theoretically.
