Bachelor of Media Management (BMM) - Batch of 2024

Average college with unnaturally high fees and good faculty but poor in everything else.
Placements: There are no placements available for any B.M.M. students. Sometimes send unpaid internships via WhatsApp grp but that's about it. Now and then teachers will talk about alumni working with some big companies in the industry but that's it. There are no placements at all.
Infrastructure: Decent infrastructure, not a very big campus, kind of cramped. Classrooms are big enough but still too many students in 1 classroom at least in B.M.M. Canteen is pretty small with average food and poor service. No idea how medical facilities are. Sports have a lot of weightage in college. Facilities for sports too are somewhere between below average to average.
Faculty: Most teachers are very helpful knowledgeable and qualified with great teaching methods. They cover topics and lessons very fast while also making sure all students understand things that are being covered. Don't put too much pressure on students but aren't lazy with the homework either. The course curriculum seems decent enough and gives insight into the industry.

It is an excellent college with great faculty members.
Placements: Almost 80% of the students got placement opportunities. The college is well maintained with adequate faculty members. Many companies like Zee Tv, Times of India, and many more visit the campus for recruitment.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is on a plus point with good air-conditioned rooms and projectors. The college is equipped with an elevator and a cafeteria too. It hosts a lot of important events like Tarangang. It has a massive library and a quiet reading room. The hostel is a well-furnished flat with 4 bedrooms and can accommodate 8 people. Classrooms are large enough to accommodate 40-50 people per batch.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are well trained and helpful. Although we had online lectures due to the pandemic. The lectures were well orchestrated and easily understandable. The curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. The semester exams are on a moderate level of difficulty, and the pass percentage is 35%.

Thakur college is quite decent and I would totally recommend B. M. students.
Placements: Placement are quite average not that great. Salary package is not so good. The highest package was 4 LPA. A lot of students got internship while they were studying and internship was very useful for them. Top roles were PR executive and content writers.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure facility is quite nice as compared to any other department. There are a lot of food stalls inside the campus and a big canteen. There are 2 stationary inside the campus. There? S also scope for sports and games There? S a big library too.
Faculty: Teachers were really helpful and very knowledgeable. Semester exams are not so difficult it? S easy. Few teachers are visiting faculty so they are already industry ready and they help students to and shape them to become industry ready. The teachers also conduct practical exams so that students can gain practical as well as theoretical knowledge.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to work in a news channel. The events, fests and campus crowd is also very decent. Students of B. M. hosts a grand event called cortokino which is based on films and is quite popular. A lot of celebrities are also invited to this event.

It is the best college in Mumbai for the commerce field as well as the science field.
Placements: Around 70% of the students got placed. The salary offered is Rs. 29,000 per month. Many companies visited here, but I don't have any idea. Most of the students got internships. Roles offered in our college are good. They provided very good companies if students are good in college. Many film stars also promote our college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is the best in Mumbai. Hostels of college are huge, well-cleaned and have peace around it. The atmosphere is great. Canteen is the best part of our college where we hang out. The library is huge in our area. I would recommend this college to others.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college are top class and friendly to us. Students get well-prepared in this field for their future as theory is less and practical is more practised over here, which is the best thing in this college. Teachers here are very helpful.
Other: I have chosen this course because I am interested in the media field.

There are best facilities and highly qualified teachers
Placements: Students above 70% are placed in this course. The highest package is 1lakh and the average is 50 thousand and the lowest is 10 to 20 thousand. We can get job in jp Morgan or any. Students which get internship they need to have at least 80 and above percentage. You can work for CA do auditing etc.
Infrastructure: There are best facilities like healthy canteen food, a big ground for sports, and have best medical facility also, the Wi-Fi connection is best and library and labs have AC overall it is best. Teacher are also very friendly and in the hostel everyone maintains a friendly and peaceful environment.
Faculty: The teachers here are all highly qualified. They focus on each and every child they teach very friendly and politely. Teachers solve the problems of each and every student. Teachers treat every student equally. And this course curriculum is best it settles the life of the students.
Other: I chose this course because I had interest in it. The campus is best. There is scope in sports also. They all just not focus on studies they also provide entertainment to students by performing activities like dance singing and many more. The best fest here is tarrangan.

Absolutely satisfied with my experience in the college.
Placements: About 60% of students were placed in my batch. The highest package in my course is 4L and the minimum is 2.5 L. There were several reputed advertising companies recruiting the students. But from the college side the students can only expect for the placement assistance as there is no campus placement for BMM course.
Infrastructure: The facilities in campus were proper and appropriately good but there is no Wi-Fi for student but the library and classrooms were spacious with bunch of good books. There is a presentation room for students. The facility provided in hostels is average.
Faculty: The teachers were supportive and helpful towards student. They have good industry knowledge. The teaching quality was excellent as 60% of teaching was based on practicals in classroom and labs. 20% were presentation and quizzes. The course curriculum is relevant for student who want to set up his/her career in advertising and journalism field they can opt for this.
Other: Lots of events and fests were there in college which makes a student engage in extra curriculum activities more.
