It is one of the best polytechnic colleges in Punjab.
Placements: Placements provided in our college are good. Around 75% of students get jobs every year. The pass percentage is good. Top role offered is an assistant engineer.
Infrastructure: Hostel is provided to students in the first year but there are no proper arrangements. Wi-Fi facility is not available in the hostel, but the hostel is spacious.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful and knowledgeable. They try their best to help students in every aspect but sometimes, our college doesn't provide the best subjects for them for teaching because they want to make teachers multitalented. Semester exams are not difficult because of very good preparation.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to pursue it in this college and appear as a LEET student after completing this course as some seats are reserved for these students. It provides good security for students.

Satisfied by all facilities required by campus.
Placements: Above 80% of students were placed in civil engineering. 2-12 lacs is the package offered in this course. L&T and ACC companies are the top recruiting companies. Above 60% of students got internships from this course in ACC and L&T company. I am also doing a job at ACC.
Infrastructure: The hostel is good. Mess food is also good. There is a facility of Wi-Fi in the hostel. Canteen is also available in hostel for students. There is a dispensary near hostel. In campus, all the facilities are available like Wi-Fi, playground, labs, library, and medical facilities.
Faculty: All the staff of teaching is helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teachers are good. There is discipline maintained on the campus. Semester exams are organized in the college. Passing percentage is 33% but for placements and internship above 60 percent marks are required.
Other: My passing percentage is 75%. My batch was 2018. In campus, all the festivals are celebrated.

My college life is wonderful.
Placements: Our college offers placements in big companies. I'm currently in my second year, so I'm not able to apply for them yet, but four of my seniors recently got placements. One of them got into Aditya Birla Group with a package of ₹3.30 lakhs per year, and the other three got into Dakin Air Conditioning with a package of ₹5.25 lakhs per year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good, with separate labs for every subject, a library with the best books, a well-maintained and hygienic canteen, airy classrooms, and many more facilities. Our college also provides hostel facilities with a neat and clean environment. The hostel mess serves good, healthy, and tasty food.
Faculty: The faculty members are very friendly, qualified, and well-educated in their fields. Teachers explain every topic in an easy and effective way with examples so that every student can understand the concepts deeply. Three house tests are held within each semester so that students can identify their mistakes and improve them before the final exams. The semester-end exams are neither very difficult nor easy.
Other: I opted for this course because of my own interest in this field, and my parents also support this choice. This course offers great job opportunities for students. The college management organizes many extracurricular activities for the mental and physical growth of students. Seminars are also organized for our betterment. Sports days, science fairs, debates, group discussions, and many more activities are held on the college campus.

Satisfied with the education and staff. Good placement for civil engineering students.
Placements: Placements in ACC cement company and L&T companies are with the best packages. Many companies choose students for their companies. If you have more than 60% marks then you will get a very good placement.
Infrastructure: Hostel is very good and mess is also good. All the facilities are available including playground, park, etc. The food is also very good. Hostel games are also conducted like cricket, football, badminton and baseball. The hostel staff is also very good.
Faculty: Semester exams are not very difficult. You should score atleast 60% for the placement. The staff teaches well so there is not much difficulty in the exams. If you study well then you will pass easily. You don't need to take much stress to pass. Thapar is one of the top Polytechnic colleges in Punjab.

This is good for students who want placements.
Placements: The salary package is good for diploma students. The average salary package is Rs. 10,000 per month. Many companies come here, but they take only one or two students, and their paper round was very difficult. The interview round was also difficult.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, but the infrastructure of the hostel is not good. The light goes out occasionally in college. There are numerous restrictions in college, like not being able to sit in the college canteen. You are only able to sit at recess time. Due to this, we have to go outside the college in our free time.
Faculty: Some teachers are helpful, and they spend full time explaining the topic, but some are not good. The course they provide is easy and anyone can do it. The final exams are difficult, but most are easy. We have to take care of the final exam.
Other: The crowd was not so good .

Placements: There were a total of 120 students in the CSE branch, and they were divided into two sections. The college also has placements starting in the 6th semester. Many roles are offered at our college, and students can participate in any of them.
Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi available in our college, which offers 34 MB of data daily, which is the worst thing. Nowadays, no one uses 34 MB. The college has good infrastructure, and the faculty is also good. The teachers are friendly with the students, which is good.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are really helpful, and they are qualified, such as M.Tech. The course is also relevant. The study is easy but only if you study. The teaching quality is overall fine, and it has a friendly environment. Additionally, there is proper security in the college.
Other: Yes, there are many other cultural activities held in the college, such as sports events, painting, drawing, singing, and many more.
