Take a glance at the best universities.
Placements: There were very few internship opportunities, and the jobs offered ranged from Rs 2 Lpa to around 5.3 Lpa. Companies like TCS, Amazon, Ernst & Young, Bajaj Financial Services, Godrej, etc., came for campus recruitment. TCS was the largest recruiter among all the companies. Campus placements will start once you reach the final year, that is, the 3rd year and 5th sem. The placement cell is not very good in this college. Companies like Amazon, TCS, Ernst & Young, Bajaj, Godrej, Karnataka Bank, etc., recruited students from the BBA department. Other companies also showed interest and had various job roles, but mostly for sales roles. TCS was the highest recruiter among all the rest; the other companies only took a few students for their jobs. I'm still looking for jobs after the completion of BBA.
Infrastructure: Campus is good. Wi-Fi is all over the campus with CCTV security guards. The library is an excellent plus point to this college. Usually, other colleges don't provide you with library books semester-wise. You are the one who needs to decide which book you need. Here, the librarians provide you with the teacher-selected books, and you don't have to go through the hassle of looking and deciding them for yourself. The technical facilities, such as our computer laboratories, were pretty much good. Not too bad, even though there were difficulties people faced. The college was extremely active sports-wise. We had several sports events quite often, and it included a wide spectrum of different types of sports. The campus already has different areas for different sports, which we can take advantage of however we want. There are two hostels: one boys’ hostel outside the campus and a girls’ hostel inside the campus.
Faculty: The faculty members were nice, but they only focussed on the academic part, i.e. what's mentioned in the syllabus. They did not help in any form for better career development or better learning for sitting in placements, etc. However, they are very approachable, and you can always connect to any one of the faculty if you wish to. They are nice and will listen to your problem and even pick up calls regarding any issue. All the theory part will somehow help in your basic understanding of the corporate world. But there were limited opportunities for career growth. The course curriculum will get your foundations strong but will not provide a deep understanding. The curriculum was not tough; it is easy, and one can achieve good marks even if he pays a little attention or studies in the last month left for exams.

Media Science at THA: Is it worth it?
Placements: The batch comprises of 52 students. More or less 25-30 students got internships or placements, but not directly from the college placement drive. There was a Google classroom where faculty members used to post job offerings and internship opportunities. Top recruiters include SVF, which came to the campus for placements. But only 1-2 students got placed over there.
Infrastructure: Facilities include a Maclab, AV room, studio, and seminar hall, which are air conditioned. The rest of the classrooms are not. The library is full of books of all genres and is air conditioned as well. The best thing is the college canteen, where we got above-average food at affordable rates.
Faculty: Faculty is really good. Teachers are highly experienced and knowledgeable. Some of them have their MBA and MA degree from reputed institutions. Teachers are really friendly and caring. It's literally the same in any college. The course includes some really good subjects and makes the students gain knowledge about what media science is about. Whether it's film studies, AV, journalism, or marketing, students really enjoyed studying about them. Semester exams were comparatively easier than CU-affiliated colleges as the college is affiliated with MAKAUT.
Other: I chose the course because of my knack for photography and marketing. I gained quite some knowledge from the course about what marketing and pr are about. In the final year, we worked on our dissertation project on Impact of AI on Digital marketing. I gained so much from this course. I personally think that this course is about getting the foundation of knowledge correctly. College life is great as we had so many events across different fields like Ad Adda, Journoscope, and HAFF. These included contest about brand pitching, content writing, copywriting, photography, short films, etc. There were many seminars and workshops by renowned actors and directors from the industry.

Good college but the college fee is high .
Placements: Campus placements will begin once you reach the final year, which is the third year or fifth semester. The placement cell is not very good in this college. Companies like Amazon, TCS, Ernest and Young, Bajaj, Godrej, Karnataka Bank, etc. recruited students from the BBA department. Other companies also showed interest and had various job roles but mostly for sales role. TCS was the highest recruiter among all the other companies, only taking a few students for their jobs. I'm still looking for jobs after completing my BBA.
Infrastructure: The name of the annual fest in Heritage is Epignosis and it takes place around November. The fest is quite a thing and the students really do enjoy this time of the year. The books which are related to our subjects are all available in the library. Other books are also available for reference purpose. A large variety of books related to wildlife, photography, and Indian history are available in the college library. We don't have an AC in our classrooms but the rooms are quite spacious and the desks and tables are in proper order. We have more than 3 auditoriums and a variety of programs are celebrated here throughout the year Life in heritage is super awesome when it comes to annual sports, fun activities, and extracurricular activities. We have a game room for indoor activities and three big playgrounds for outdoor sports. College students run a variety of clubs, including the ART club, DANCE club, SINGING club, and Rotaract.
Faculty: The faculty members were nice but they only focused on the academic part, i.e., what's mentioned in the syllabus. Good campus life in The Heritage Academy.
Placements: In our college, about 40 to 50% of students get placed from BCA with an average package of 3-4 LPA. The companies that come for placement are SAP Labs, LTI Mindtree, TCS, Wipro, and Deloitte. Top roles offered are associate analyst and associate trainee. The placements are Bangalore-based and are good.
Infrastructure: The college is good with different facilities such as Wi-Fi, good computer labs with more than 60 computers, and an air-conditioned library with semester books for all the students, so they don't need to buy books. The classrooms are big with good air flow, but the classrooms do not have ACs, which causes a problem in the summer.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable with good teaching methods. They are helpful and also provide notes in Google Classroom. The course curriculum is relevant and up-to-date and prepares students to be ready for industry with relevant skills. The semester exams are moderately difficult, with less than 20–30% of students failing the exams.
Other: My campus life experience has been vibrant, with various social activities and club involvement. We have an annual sports festival and Freshers' Cup in Jan/Feb, and numerous other festivals. Sports facilities are excellent, and student-run clubs like dance, sports, fashion, art, drama, tech, and music add to the excitement, fostering connections and memories.

Very good college for management studies.
Placements: The students from 5th semester are eligible for applying in the placements drive. But before 5th semester, they can go for internships which is totally allowed and recommended by the college. The companies that visit The Heritage Academy for placements are some of most renowned ones like Deloitte, Cognizant, SAP Labs, LTI, Wipro, TCS, Capgemini, etc. I’m not sure about the exact number of offers made but around 60% students got placed and some of them got offered more than 1 job. So the placements were decent even during the pandemic. According to the stats, the highest package offered was 3.82 lacs by Deloitte and the average package was of 2.8 lacs.
Infrastructure: The name of the annual fest in Heritage is called Epignosis and it takes place around November. The fest is quite a thing in the academy and the students really enjoy this time of the year. The books related to our subjects are all available in the library along with other books for reference. A large variety of books related to wildlife, photography, and Indian history are available in the college library. We don’t have an AC in our classrooms but the rooms are quite spacious and the desks and tables are arranged in a proper order. We have more than 3 auditoriums and a variety of programs are celebrated here throughout the year. There is a variety of clubs like Art club, Dance club, Singing club, Rotaract, etc, which are run by the college students. The Library is nice and air conditioned, though its not very large, but it does the work. There are sufficient computer labs and also we had a few classrooms which have projectors installed. We had few sports competitions organised by the students at the college level.
Faculty: BBA is a degree which can help me pursue MBA in the future so I chose this course. It explains the basics of MBA and your concepts get cleared from the beginning itself. In this college, the teaching is good which enhances the quality of study as well as the concepts to be cleared. The curriculum also prepares us for the real world with practical knowledge being taught to the students through seminars, workshops, industrial visits, placement opportunities, internship opportunities, learning new courses, etc. The timings of the classes is also very good and matches great with the requirements of the syllabus. The timing of the exams is also good. We also get some study leaves before the exams. The difficulty level in the exams is not fixed. Sometimes the paper comes easy and sometimes it is very tough. We have to study all the modules to score good in the exams and understand the concepts well. The teaching methods intend to focus on each student. The faculty members are well qualified. They are really supportive and help the students whenever needed. They are well educated and some of them also have degrees like that of PhD. This adds great credibility to the college as well as the university the college is associated with. The teachers are really good in teaching and they clear the concepts well, they even provide notes to the students. They help the students through extra classes as per the need. Their way of teaching is very good and as there are only sixty students in a class the teacher can concentrate more on the students and on area they are lacking in. This can help the students know their habits which are not letting them score good. The college also focuses on the curriculum development and professional engagement through industrial visits so that they can learn and apply concepts practically which are taught in the class.

Very good college for BBA, BCA, and MBA.
Placements: The campus placements usually start during the 4th or 5th semester of the course. Several companies participate in the drive. Some that came during my time were Mindtree, EY, Deloitte, etc. I received a placement opportunity from Deloitte. However, some companies like Infosys did not make any offers and did not conduct any applications. The highest package offered to our batch was 4.2 LPA by EY. While getting a placement largely depends on individual preparation, about 60% of students in our batch got placed. I chose not to take up my placement offer as I was more interested in pursuing higher studies, which I am currently doing. After completing the course, students can either go for placements, higher studies, or government exams. The college arranged a paid internship for us, which involved full-stack web development. Although I learned a lot, the main satisfaction was the "paid" aspect. We worked in a group of 5-6 people on a full-stack web application and encountered various industrial approaches.
Infrastructure: Apart from freshers and farewells for every batch, annual or technical fests were rare. While several events took place during our time, we did not have a proper fest from the college. The library is an excellent asset; unlike other colleges where you need to select books yourself, here the librarians provide the teacher-selected books, saving you the hassle. The technical facilities, such as computer laboratories, were quite good, though some difficulties were faced. The college was very active in sports, with frequent sports events and a wide range of sports facilities available. The campus is large and provides a refreshing environment. There were three affordable canteens during my time, which I hope are still there. The campus environment was peaceful, and overall, it was great.
Faculty: The teachers were extremely approachable and guided us through even the smallest inconveniences. They are well-versed in their fields, and while there might be occasional hiccups, the faculty was and still is helpful. The course is a toned version compared to other technical courses like CS major or B.Tech., so the curriculum is easier, though not insignificant. How well you prepare yourself depends on the individual. The curriculum is designed to prepare students for the corporate world with relevant services and facilities. However, preparing for higher studies or technical placements is up to the individual. I would suggest including up-to-date technologies in the curriculum to ensure students are more industry-ready. Engaging in non-academic co-curricular activities kept us busy and reduced stress.
