I am satisfied with the college, and it is a must consideration for students.
Placements: For placement, our college is one of the best in India. With a wide range of brands, there is a high chance of getting placed in companies you desire. Our college offers two courses like a bachelor in optometry for 3 years with a 1-year internship and a masters in optometry for 2 years.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite good. All the facilities like Wi-Fi, labs and a library are available. There is no separate hostel, so you have to manage accommodation on your own. For food, there is a hospital canteen, which provides average food. As it is a hospital, medical facilities are bound to be good.
Faculty: Faculty members are supportive, and the teaching quality is simply amazing. The curriculum is exactly according to students. It makes students understand in-depth about optometry. Semesters are tough, and the pass percentage is 50%.
Other: I have chosen this course because optometry gives us the opportunity to serve the less privileged through visual screenings. Apart from the curriculum, we also get to work in camps to get experience, which is beneficial after passing out. We also have a Rotaract club, i.e., RCLCOO, where we do extracurricular activities and community service.

One of the best college for Optometry!
Placements: So, from a batch of 40 students, 2 students are struggling for placement, rest of us are working in very decent places. For Optometrist, the major work areas are tertiary Eye hospitals, Clinics, retail optical outlets and MNCs. So being freshers, all of us have got package ranging 3 to 5 Lacs PA.
Infrastructure: I would say my institute has all the facilities one is looking for in optometry college, especially in Mumbai I'll say it is the best. Apart from great faculty members, college is full of basic facilities like Wi-Fi library all the optics and optometry related instruments.
Faculty: Faculty members are great, well qualified and renowned. Ofcourse it makes students industry ready, It's my first job and I'm happy and satisfied with whatever I have learnt in lotus. I can perform my skills learnt in college with great ease. I have better understanding of my subjects and I'm glad that I have done my Bachelor's in Optometry from lotus College of Optometry.

The campus life is good and a straight way to our aim.
Placements: The college offers good placements to students, and there are many branches under this. For an optometrist, the initial salary package was above Rs. 30,000 per month. Optometrists are the assistants of the ophthalmologist as the primary checkups are done by optometrists and then referred to the doctor. All the students of our college have to do internships. The stipend offered during the internship was up to Rs. 10,000 per month.
Infrastructure: The college has a library, labs, canteen, hostel facilities, etc. There are labs with eye testing machines. Machines like slit lamp, keratometer, lensometer, vision taking, contact lens fitting, etc., are available in the labs. The canteen provides rich food to students. Hostel facilities are good, safe, secure, and comfortable. Dormitories and rooms are available in the college.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. Permanent teachers in the college have completed their M.Sc. Doctors also come to our college to take classes. The teaching methods are very useful, and they teach practically. Students have clinical posting twice a week. IV is provided for all the batches. Attending CME is compulsory for all students.
Other: All events related to optometry are organised in our college. Medical checkups and camps are provided. Scholarships are provided to excellent students. Extracurricular activities like hospital visits, blind school visits, etc., are done.

No, the NEET is not mandatory for admission to Optometry courses. Optometry programs in India are usually offered as Bachelor of Optometry courses, and the admission criteria are determined by the respective universities or colleges.
