Placements: The placements in my branch are less compared to the other branches like computer science and information science. For my branch, no company has come till now. Last year, 2 to 3 companies visited and took only 2 members of my branch. No core companies have visited till now like L&T for civil. Last year, my senior got placed in Amazon.
Placements: When it comes to the placements, I can say that they are average. In our department, around 50% students got placed on the campus. Mostly IT companies come to the college. The core electronic companies are very rare. Some of the recruiters this year (2016 - 2017) are Tech Mahindra, IBM, Himachal Pradesh, Subex, NTT DATA, Tessolve Semiconductor PVT LTD (core EC), Merchant Navy, Microland, L&T, SAP labs and many more. The placements are improving every year. The students are provided with the plac...
Placements: The placements for mechanical engineering students is not a matter of pride. The placement level falls down every year, especially for the mechanical department. Even though there were a lot of companies that visited, there were no popular core companies as expected.
Placements: The placements for our seniors was not at all good. In the last year batch, only two students got placed one in Tech Mahindra, and other one got placed in one the local companies in Bangalore, but in 2016 passed out batch one girl got the highest package of 25lakhs per annum by getting placed in a famous German company. The college doesn't provide the internships for the students, students themselves have to go in search of the internships, stipend amount it depends upon the company. I have no e...
Placements: The placement is okay, not good as expected like other colleges are struggling for their students. The problem in placements is politics. In the college, only one main placement officer is handling the entire department. If you get selected for any company, and they are not giving you the joining letter, nobody will help you. You have to find another company. Then there is no proper advantage of placements in this college.
Placements: The placements are quite good but only for the good scorers. Many companies had made up a tie with the college and they do come. The teachers are also co-operative in every aspect. Recently, a girl secured a 22-lakh per annum salary job from the college. The students who secure above 60% have a sure say in getting placed in the campus selection.
Placements: The placements are average in this college. Many companies are tied up with it, so getting a job won't be that hard. I would recommend picking this college. This is also a well-reputed college. Many companies such as Wipro, Bosch, Tech Mahindra are open for recruitment in this college.
Placements: The college has a record of very few placements where only 5% of students get jobs which are of BPO. The highest salary offered is Rs. 2,05,000. No internships are available in college. Small companies visit the college.
Placements: The college provides good placements, but the eligibility criteria will not be satisfied by the students. So better to bring companies, which fulfils the student's eligibility criteria. The core companies are more required in the college. As of I know only 15% of our seniors got placement. So the percentage of placements have to improve.
Placements: Oxford College has good placements. In my senior batch, 65% were placed. In my batch, more than 80% percent were placed. The highest salary was 5 lakhs per annum. The lowest was 1.75 lakhs per annum. Companies that visited were Blue Star, HP, Accenture, EMC and MindTree. Software developer and tech support were the roles offered.
Placements: A lot of companies such as IBM, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, JSpiders, QSpiders, Book My Show (BMS), Cafe Coffee Day, etc. had come to The Oxford College of Engineering during the academic year 2016-2017. It was very helpful in gaining experience as to how to face the tough interview rounds in multi-national companies. It also enabled us to build a strong bond with the placement department.
Placements: Placements are good but are limited. The lowest salary was 12000. Infosys, Tech Mahindra and TCS visited the campus. The roles offered were technical support and software developer.
Placements: It is a good college for placements. In 2013, I got placed on-campus in Accenture which is one of the top IT companies. There where 4 rounds of the interview. First was the written test which was quite easy, but the 2nd round was a group discussion which was tough (my group topic of discussion democratic vs communist). I was selected out of 20 students and they selected 5 students. The 3rd round was a face-to-face round and finally, the HR discussion. I was offered a salary of 3.2 lacs per annum...
Placements: Placements in the biotechnology field via college are slowly improving. However, the college encourages students to sit for other campus placements along with other batchmates from different specialisations. There are different companies coming in and the list of recruiters has been increasing each year. Profiles are decent with good packages.
Placements: I have passed engineering with distinction so I can talk about the placements. Very bad placements. A maximum of 5 students get a decent engineering job. Only two students from my class got placed, one student got placed in Tech Mahindra and the other in Unitech Transfer, a German company which was a fake one and offered 25 lacs per annum. The college management might say that the highest placed last year is 25 lacs which is not true. Only tech support jobs will be provided by the college and a...
Placements: In 2016 passed out batch, around 40+ students got placed, both in off-campus and on-campus drives conducted by the placement dept. Companies like Tech Mahindra, HPE, IBM are frequent visitors for recruitment. I got placed through HPE drive conduct for the post of developer and testing with a package of 3.6LPA. My 2 friends got placed in Tech Mahindra. Many boys got placed in the naval drive conducted in Feb with a package of 3-4 lakhs. Mu sigma conducted a drive for students above 70+percentage ...
Placements: In Oxford College of Engineering in the branch (Information Science of Engineering), there was good placement from the top MNCs. In 2016, out of 102 students, 98 students were placed in top MNCs. Also, they encourage in projects and are very supportive. So I'd say that it is comfortable to join.
Placements: Placements department is doing an excellent job. Lots of companies visit. Everyone gets a chance to be hired. Packages are moderate. But no big expectations, no core company visits for ECE, which is the case in most places. High scope for software based companies.
Placements: The college had a very bad placement record. Most of the companies that come for placements were bogus, and even asked the students to pay them money to get an internship. A few placements were there for technical support engineers. Out of 120 students studying in MCA 2016 batch, only 5 students got placed.
Placements: The placement department of TOCE works hard to bring companies for placements to its students. I personally attempted lots of interviews in college campus for various companies. The team is very responsive and contains experienced personnel. The placement programs runs all time over a year for last year students. Big MNC companies like IBM, Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, TCS, have visited and many students got placed. The placement records are quite better than any other college of same class. A...
