Review of TKM College - Thangal Kunju Musaliar College of Engineering.
Placements: Almost 40% of students got placed in MCA 2019 batch. Different companies, including MNCs, come here. The top recruiting companies were TCS, Suntech, Knowledge Lens etc. Many students were also offered internships with companies like TCS. The best salary packages are offered by every company. 7.5 LPA was the highest package offered, and the average package was around 3-3.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is excellent. It has well-established labs with free Wi-Fi. Classrooms are quite neat and well-equipped with projectors and all other necessary equipment. Our campus library is like an ocean. A separate library is also provided for MCA. The college hostel is very eco-friendly, and the food available is quite okay compared to other hostels. The college has good medical facilities. Various college-level tournaments sports are conducted like cricket, football, badminton etc.
Faculty: The teachers are well knowledgeable in their own field. They are experts and hold PhDs in various fields. So, the students get the right guidance and support. Semester exams looked very easy with their support. The passing percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose this course because I like to learn about computers and programs in advance. It also offers various career opportunities. To complete the course from such a reputed organisation was a privilege for me. The college was not only supporting with studies. Various events and extracurricular activities were conducted on a regular basis. Scholarships like Egrantz were provided for covering students' educational needs.
