The college did arrange a few IT companies for the placement interviews, but we couldn't get in, as civil engineering students lack the skills for it.

Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) - Batch of 2026

Good aesthetics and good faculties. Fees structure depends on your quota.
Placements: As this architecture course, our college provides zero placements, but for other courses there are many. And in our course, our seventh semester is an internship. And for that, we should apply and get into a firm that is fully individual. So it's zero placement for architecture students.
Infrastructure: The course is good, and we have a good faculty team with great support for both academics and extracurricular activities inside the department. Fully wifi college, good classrooms, one good library and also a large auditorium, and also a canteen and 2-3 small tea shops inside college run by third parties. Coming to the men's hostel is a 4/5 rating. But for ladies, it is a 2/5 rating. But is cheap, with a maximum of 4,000 per month, which includes a food room and other facilities. Ladies hostel has play courts and a gym inside it.
Faculty: This part is best. As college is under KTU, the semester exams and results will be on time. Faculty are also a great support for us. They will provide short notes and presentations for late-minute preparations too. And architecture is the course in college that has the highest pass percentage.
Other: As you come for the course, you will only get the course and some other programs; the real exposure needed for the course won't be available in the college. You will get a great aesthetic college, good academics and a little bit of programming. The main office always compares B.Arch. course with B.Tech. course.

The college has strong infrastructure and good academic standard
Placements: The placement scenario at MES College of Engineering, Kuttippuram, is considered moderate. Around 40% of students secure placements, with companies like TCS, Infosys, and Amazon being prominent recruiters. The highest salary package reported is around 8-10 lakhs per annum, while the average package is about 40,000 per month. Some students praise the opportunities, especially in fields like computer science, while others feel the placement rate could improve, particularly in departments like mechanical and civil engineering. The placement cell is actively involved, providing both on-campus and off-campus opportunities.
Infrastructure: MES College of Engineering, Kuttippuram, is known for its strong infrastructure, good academic standards, and diverse campus life. As one of the first self-financing engineering colleges in Kerala, it has modern labs, like an IoT and Fab Lab, which support students in research and innovation. The faculty is generally well-regarded, and the campus offers a vibrant life with regular tech events and various student societies.
Faculty: The faculty at MES College of Engineering, Kuttippuram, is known for their experience and teaching methods. Many professors have over 10 years of experience and are described as knowledgeable and approachable. The curriculum follows Kerala Technological University (KTU) guidelines, incorporating both theoretical and practical knowledge. Professors use modern teaching aids like PowerPoint presentations and share materials with students to enhance learning. The college offers various labs, including a well-equipped IoT and Fab Lab, allowing students to work on advanced projects and gain hands-on experience. The curriculum balances academics with industry-oriented learning, supported by societies like IEEE and IEDC, which help students with both academic and non-academic growth. Overall, the academic environment is supportive.

Extremely good campus life that no other college can give.
Placements: Placements are good for me, helping me get a strong start in my career, and I can see a great future through the placement opportunities. The highest package was 15 lakhs, and the lowest was 3 lakhs. Around 65% of students got internships in different companies, though job offers for mechanical engineering were average.
Infrastructure: All lab and workshop facilities were available. However, the classes had poor connection speeds. The hostels were good, clean, and provided proper food, with a well-managed mess committee. Unfortunately, sports and games were not heavily promoted in the college.
Faculty: The teachers were good, mainly because they were supportive and caring. All were qualified and had great teaching potential. Semester exams were really tough, making passing difficult, and the university often made it challenging for students to succeed.
Other: I always wanted to pursue a career in mechanical engineering because it’s my passion. I love working with machines. The college committee was lazy when it came to conducting programs, so students had to take the initiative to organize and successfully launch them.

Good faculty, good placements, and great campus.
Placements: Almost every student who has cleared all papers and has a sufficient set of skills is placed. The college provides placement training; a number of students have been placed with a salary package ranging from 3 to 4 LPA. Many companies like IBM, Qburst, and Tata come for placements at our college.
Infrastructure: We have a large and spacious library. The classroom and lab facilities are good. The lab has proper computers to accommodate all the students from a class and proper working Wi-Fi is available on campus. The hostel is quite good and the food is okay. The college supports sports and arts and also has its own cricket and football teams.
Faculty: The curriculum we follow is prepared by APJ Abdul Kalam University. The faculty does an excellent job of mentoring the students. Portions are covered properly. Along with providing technical skills, the curriculum also encourages us to improve our social skills. The semesters are easy if you prepare enough.
Other: The best thing about my college is the students. We have an excellent campus atmosphere. There are social clubs like NSS and clubs like IEDC that promote entrepreneurship. The campus has a canteen and two other small snack areas; there is also an area allotted specifically for students called the student area. Students are given opportunities to apply for various scholarships.

MESCE is a college were CEOs and many entrepreneurs were born.
Placements: Placements take place often and the placement cell also helps the weak students to improve their academic performance by counseling them. Every student gets opportunities to get placed in reputed IT companies like TCS, Infosys etc. Even before leaving the campus.
Infrastructure: There is a college ground beside hostel which have volleyball court, basketball court, and also football field. The food provided in the hostel mess is also great compared to other college hostels. There are separate buildings for different departments. College provides free Wi-Fi in hostel and in campus.
Faculty: The teachers in our college are so friendly and helpful. They are highly qualified. The exams are conducted frequently and helps the students effective. They provide a library for students to refer and use for research. They provide many programs for improving our skills.
