The best college with the best facilities

Placements: This college doesn't provide any placements as it is a government college for only graduation purposes, so that is why this college doesn't provide any placement as of now. Maybe they will provide any placement in the future. In case of placements, this is not the best college but as for study purposes, this college is the best.

Absolutely satisfied. Great learning experience with such talented faculty members.

Placements: Our college did not provide placement but the teachers are good. The infrastructure is not good as compared to others but it is one of the best colleges of commerce in Kolkata. I had a great experience with great teachers. It indulges in lots of extra-curricular activities. I would advise you to go without a single thought.

The Eden of Calcutta University

Placements: Placements were good considering the college status. Very less students appear for the placements as most of the commerce students are pursuing some professional course with it such as- CA, CS, CFA, FRM, CMA, etc. These students already are into some internship or job. Students who come from a very simple background and who fall in Below Poverty Line category or somewhere near about appearing for the placements as these are the ones who aren't doing any other course except B.Com. Companies like...

Best place for B.Com and for pursuing any other professional course.

Placements: My senior students get placements in banks, Tata and CA firms across the India. The average salary offered was around 13000-18000 depending on your abilities. Students generally got the placement to the Tata & CA firms for the lower level clerk and accounting work. Around 40% students were placed and other pursue the higher degree. The highest salary should have around up to 2 lacs. Several other companies also visited our college.

A knowledgeable institution with good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: My senior batch students are well-placed in banks all across India. The lowest salary offered was 15000. Most of the students were sent in the banking line. About 10% students were placed and the highest salary should have summed up to 2 lacs. Several banks visited our college.

My respected college with best faculty in business.

Placements: Our college offered vast opportunities for placements by asking many companies to attend it and offer jobs according to the level of knowledge of all students. Many companies attend our campus resulting many opportunities for students. Better placements if you do well in college.

Good college for the students doing professional courses at the same time.

Placements: Our college does not have any placement committee and no placement facility is provided by the college. Still capable students can somehow manage to get placed somewhere. Some students can get into the student union so that they can become a bridge between the students and faculty members. Student union members can make some money.

Absolutely good because of the faculty infrastructure and the canteen. No problem at all.

Placements: Good. Almost 90% of the students got placed. Rest opted out from the placements including myself. 2L-4L salary range was offered to the students. There were many companies including the top MNCs which came to our college for the placements like Bluedart, DTDC and many more.

It is the best college for B.Com course.

Placements: Well, this college is not known for its placement because this college doesn't give the best placement since it is only for UG course. You will get only low offered salary placement from this college, and it is too when you are lucky enough.

This college is one of the best colleges for commerce. The faculty delivers amazing lectures and is very friendly especially with the new students. It has the ragging free campus. The college also has a canteen where you can get delicious food at a very low price, and feasible bookstore where books are available at lower price.

In terms of ranking of B.Com college UCC stands tall & proud. But reality is somewhat different. It has a lush green campus with clean air of salt lake allowing you to breathe free. There was around 200-300 students in my batch divided into 4 sections but less than 50 students turned in the college every day and 2-5 students per sections were seen in the class. Rest of the students will be in the common room or union room. Insufficient numbers of teachers and worst of all, we need to go and call...

The fees and faculty are the only good thing I found in the college. The union and lack of proper infrastructure with no placement program are a big thumb down. The infrastructure of classrooms and the whole building would make one feel that, it's a 200-year-old haunted place one has visited.

The college is located at college square near Calcutta University and the best thing about the college is that it has a morning shift only and offers an honors degree in B.com only. Hence, all the students are of the same degree. The Good: 1. The college is located right opposite to Calcutta University. 2. This is a government college. 3. The college fee is quite low. 4. The college has the best timing i.e. it starts at 6 in the morning. 5. The college has a good faculty. The Bad: 1. The ...

The college is kind of average. The fee is very low and it is not co-ed. This college is only for boys and is not very strict. It is located near college street and the infrastructure here is very poor. This is a morning college which becomes a city school during the day and city college in the evening. The canteen serves very cheap food, and a lot of students here are involved in students' union which organises various social events like blood donation camps etc. The second campus of this colle...

I have mixed reviews for this college. Even though the campus facilities and exposure which it provides through its events is fabulous; the Placements are only average. The fee structure at my time of joining was very high, which I feel is not worth the money as the ROI is lowered. The faculty is not up to the mark and even the college crowd is not so great. I will recommend this college to others.

The college campus was not very big. It was a three storied building. Very good professors but very few attendance because it was morning section. I enjoyed the classes. Good library but very little playground. Teachers were helpful. I had very few friends from the college because very less students came to the college. Actually they missed some great faculty.
