If we talk about the average package it is about 2 LPA to 2.5 LPA. Almost 40% percent of students are placed in our course. Generally, 30 to 40 percent of students got internships from our courses and most of them generally went to small and mid-size firms, or some of them were placed at Tata. Placements: Almost 90% of students were placed in my course. 60-80% of students got internships from my course. The best thing is that the students are never left unemployed. It provides better education and has excellent teachers. They teach us to behave properly with people.

Umesh chandra college is an average college with a very small fee structure.

Placements: Approximately 60% of students were placed in my coach. The highest package offered was 7 Lacs p. a. and the lowest package was 3.4 Lacs p. a. ICICI Bank was among the top recruiting companies. No one got an internship as it was not required in my course. The top roles offered in the course was accounts practicals.

UMC- Not a bad choice but if you want a non attending college then only take admission.

Placements: Their is no such good faculty of placements in this college. As you are doing B.Com I don't think placement is much needed. Although at the end of the 6th semesters some regional company comes which are not soo big but are okay and provide jobs. I wouldn't recommend it.

Really good facility provided by college.

Placements: In B.Com Honours there were around 1000 students and in General there were around 500 students. As I'm in B.Com 2nd year I don't know much about the recruiting companies. This year our college ranks 14th and all over India 64th.

This college is value for money.

Placements: We are from the batch of 2017-20 under CBCS system. Most of the students opt the same course B.Com (Hons) due to the good faculty as compared to other courses. Every year, some reputed companies visit here for a selection of good students, and they provide a good salary package.

I am dissatisfied because of the faculty.

Placements: There are no problems during admission, and you need 70% to get admission in this college. Many companies visited once in a week for courses, vacancies and stuck some pamphlets college board. They offered the best roles to the students. Percentage of internships is 50% and the average stipend provided during the internship. There was no placement cell.

Review of Umes Chandra College.

Placements: I am a CA student, so I didn't attend placements if any were conducted. Moreover, I didn't hear that any student was getting placements from our college. Few students told once that TCS company is visiting, but I never came to know about it, and I am not sure whether it visited or not. At least students were not informed officially by the management about the same.

It is one of the old and best colleges in West Bengal.

Placements: Companies like Wipro, TCS, Axis Bank and many other companies visit our campus for placements. It was started from our batch as it under graduation college it never provided placements, but we were lucky batch to start the placement at college and get placed just after completing after graduation.

I took admission in this college as there no issue of attendance.

Placements: The campus recruitment is conducted every year and students are appointed for the vacant positions in many companies. Incentives offered is not justifiable according to the job they offered. One of my good friends got selected to work in Zomato company with an incentive of Rs.5 000, where he was asked to perform a laborious work for eight exhaustive hours.

The grades directly depend on you and not at all on college.

Placements: Students can get admission by securing just 70% at 12th. It's an average college. I have no idea about the placement. If you are an average student and the ultimate aim is to complete your graduation degree anyhow, then it could be a better option. Otherwise, you should join any other college, i.e., Bhawanipur, Jaipuria, etc.

Umes Chandra is a very good college.

Placements: This institute provides the best placements in multinational companies. The best part of this college is its very good teachers. The only necessary thing is that you have to study well, and fees are not very expensive as it is very low. So it is a good institute with good placements. More than 80% of the students got placed. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 20,000 to 40,000 in the starting. Only MNCs visited our college for placements, and they offered manager and CEO roles.

Review of Umes Chandra College.

Placements: It seems to have a good experience here. Even every senior and I got a nice placement. About 70%-85% of the students got nice placements, and now they are earning a good income and living a good life. Some good companies eventually visited our school for internships. Everyone gives their best to get a job.

Allover the college is good, as the fees are quite low in the college.

Placements: Placements of my batch and seniors are average, around 30-40% of students got placed. I don't know the highest and the lowest salary offered but it's quite less. The role of junior accountants and jobs from call centres are provided to students. Non of them got an internship from college, and there is no placement cell in our college.
