Dissatisfied with the infrastructures of the college.

Placements: The college doesn't provide placement opportunities. I am pretty much assured that this college will not provide you with any placement opportunities after graduation. If students want to get placed through college, this college is not for you. If you need placements, you can join colleges like St. Xavier, Bhawanipore, etc.

This college is neither good nor bad.

Placements: The college doesn't provide any placement offers. They do not have tie-ups with any companies. So I would rate the placements with 1/10. Many websites show that this college provides placement opportunities, but it is not at all true. They do not provide any such facilities.

Our college is the best in Kolkata for commerce.

Placements: The previous year, almost 89% of the students from our senior batch were placed. They got placed in Google company as accountants. My brother also passed out from the college, and he is pursuing chartered accountant course now. Reputed companies like Wipro, Amazon, etc., visit our campus for placements.

It is a great college with good professors, friendly unions and supporting staff.

Placements: Reputed companies like TCS visit our college every year. They recruit at least 20-30 students from our college each time. The minimum salary package offered for a B.Com student is 3 LPA, and other good companies also recruit students from our college.

It is one of the best colleges in Kolkata.

Placements: Our college provides placement opportunities. Last year in 2018, many students got placed in TCS. Many students who are pursuing CA join this college as it has no attendance issues. It is one of the best colleges after Goenka and Jaipuria under Calcutta University.

I like our college because it supported me for pursuing my CMA. It's very helpful.

Placements: Students apply for placements on their own. However, the college has provision for campus interviews. Last year, companies like Yes Bank, Wipro, ICICI Bank, and some other reputed companies visited our college for placements. If you are a good student and regular to classes, you also get various offers from the college union. The president of our college is a member of parliament and helps you a lot.

This college is student-friendly.

Placements: The placement cell of this college is good. Companies like Horlicks, ITC, JP Morgan, etc., visited this college for campus placements. They offered a salary in the range of Rs. 25,000-35,000 per month. Approximately 35%-40% of the students got selected through campus drives, and they are very happy with the placement opportunities offered here.

The infrastructure of the college is good, and the faculty members are nice.

Placements: Tata Consultancy Services visited the college for placements and hired many candidates for jobs. Many friends of mine also got selected as trainees for accounts profiles in TCS and are very much happy getting placements from Umes Chandra College Street campus.

Review of Umes Chandra College.

Placements: Placements in our college were quite good. The placement drives involved a written test and PI. Students who qualified the written test are called for PI. The students who cleared PI were offered jobs in TCS without any agreements. Salaries ranged from a minimum of Rs. 9,000 per month to a maximum of Rs. 18,000 per month.

The infrastructure and placements of the college are average.

Placements: Placements in the college are not at all good. You can't expect much from such type of curriculum and infrastructure. College only provides you with a degree in a hassle-free way. I neither attended any placement drives nor I heard it from anyone. However, I got to know that TCS visited to conduct an interview once. They were offering a salary package of around Rs. 8,000-10,000 per month. Our college does not even put any efforts to improve. This is the common situation in almost all colleges af...

Students get an excellent college life and facilities.

Placements: This is a good college to complete the course. We didn't get any campus placements as our college doesn't provide any placements. But still, I love the college and techniques provided by them. Faculty members are available. This is a good college for students who are interested in doing CA or CS or ICWAI or any other special course.

Umesh chandra college - a descent college to start your career with.

Placements: According to my batch, placement was not at all good. 20 percent students from our batch got placed. The average salary offered was 3lacs. The companies like tcs, wipro, HDFC bank, etc. Visited the campus for placement purpose. Customer service representative, relationship representative, etc. Were the roles that were offered by the companies.

Overall, the college is excellent.

Placements: Many of the big companies offered campus placements in the college after graduation. Companies such as Horlicks, Wipro, etc., came to the college. The minimum salary offered by them is 15 thousand per month which may extend to 20 thousand depending on your skills. The maximum salary offered till now is 25 thousand per month.

It is a well-reputed college with good placement percentage.

Placements: TCS recruits 100-150 students from Umes Chandra college, every year for TCS-BPS. The salaries offered range from Rs. 12,000 per month to Rs. 20,000 per month. Students don't need to sign any bond regarding their employment term. A few months prior to the final year exams, a test is conducted, and then, personal interviews are conducted to the qualified students.

Satisfied with college environment but it can be improved better.

Placements: Agar placement of my batch is very cool and genuine and our batch also something learn from seniors. I think in my college minimum immediately salary offered 30000 to 40000 to college teacher and 5 percent given by the our college so our college is very better from anything path.

It is an average college with the cheapest fees.

Placements: No placements are available in this college. No placement takes place and no question of salary. This college doesn't even provide internship form. There is no placement cell in the college. It is just a regular college.

An overview of Umes Chandra college.

Placements: The placement cell became active from our batch only. Quite a few companies like TCS and some other comparatively new companies located outside Kolkata came for recruitment. They do recruit quite a few students. For example TCS recruited 38 (out of 400 approximately). I don't know about the number of students recruited by the other companies.

Good if you are searching a low fee and low attendance criteria college.

Placements: The college offered placements before our B.Com final exams. Tata Consultancy Services was the only company that came to the college. There were 2 rounds, one was questions and answers round, and the other was an interview. About 40-50% of the students cleared first round and went on to the interview. The job profile offered was a kind of call center professional, and night shifts were offered. The salary offered was about Rs. 10,000 per month. Most of the students rejected the job profile as th...

It is a good college, and the faculty members are also good.

Placements: The placement cell of this college is not quite good as very less number of companies come to our college to hire students. Some of the companies are Tata Consultancy Services, Wipro, etc.. They offer very less salary, between 10,000-15,000 per month. Students are generally offered accountant work.
