Satisfied with the college because here the attendance doesn't matter.

Placements: Last year, the placements were offered to the final year students. TATA and Axis bank hired some students. The average salary offered to them was around Rs. 18,000 per month to Rs. 20,000 per month. The companies visited the main campus to organise the interview, but only a few were selected. All the students of final year attended the interviews.

A review on Umes Chandra College.

Placements: There are no placements, but this college is the best for studies. If you are pursuing any other professional course, you can continue it by studying in this college. At first, I heard that companies will come to college for placements, but I didn't see any company coming here.

I am disappointed with the placements and faculty members of the college.

Placements: The placements in Umesh Chandra College are not good and most of the reputed companies do not want to come. The students hardly gets placed at their desired position and at a desired pay package. Overall the students are dissatisfied from the placements.

Awesome college because you can enjoy your life being in this college.

Placements: There were good placement facilities at our college campus. They are getting handsome salaries according to their capabilities. Very reputed company has been there for campus placement facilities. Students were allowed to enjoy college life and it's good for those who are doing other course along with their B.Com.

I am not satisfied with my college.

Placements: In Umes Chandra College, there is very less scope to get the placements, but in the 3rd year, 4 to 5 companies visit our college for the students, and only a very few students are getting placed. So, there is less scope for any placements for average students or above average students.

Umes Chandra college, a pride of Calcutta University.

Placements: Placement is very less. Only the topper students get placement on the basis of merit and interviews. The only major company that comes to hire is Tata iron and Steel co. So if you want placement you have to work hard in studies and try not to get suppliments any year.

One of the best college in Kolkata.

Placements: The college provide large number of placement degree. The students provided jobs in multinational companies like Wipro, TCS, etc. The company provided him accounts related jobs any many more posts as per candidates skill and knowledge. There is more chances to get placement.

College is good for those willing to Study with less expense and no headache of regular classes.

Placements: Placement is not very good. This year only TCS came for the recruitment drive and recruited very few students ( hardly 20 people) from 400-500 students. Package provided was around 1.4 lacs per annum. I was not recruited. There is no proper management or placement cell for conducting placement drives.

Absolutely umesh chandra college is gorgeous and good in all manner.

Placements: Our placement of my batch is very cool and genius and our batch also something learn from seniors. I think in my college min immediately salary offered 30000 to 40000 to college teachers and the highest percent given by the our college so our college is very better from anything path.

A very good college but with a need to improve the infrastructure.

Placements: It was a random section and no proper selection was made Only one company visited the college in these years and all the jobs were of same pay scale and no better options were available. The whole placement criteria was done in a single day and it was not good at all. Even the deserving students didn't get the jobs.

Good college in West Bengal.

Placements: At the end of the 3rd year many companies visit the college for selecting the deserving student. Emami, work, tata, icici bank etc. Visited last year. Minimum requirement of 55% in the B.Com course. The offered minimum 1.5 Lacs P. A package. As far as I know it is ragging free.

Colleges today and youths of tomorrow.

Placements: As per the placements are concerned our college does allots placements and that too before our final year exams. And the placements are from some reputed companies like recently it was from TCS but the job that was offered was not up to the expectations. But it's good to have such interview experiences before our finals do that we can prepare ourselves better for future.

Good College for B.Com in cu.

Placements: Few placements only not big industries are arranging placements, campus placement is to be improved with the help of college authorities and Calcutta university. Not much students are getting the change of sitting in campus placement organised by umes Chandra college.

Good college for those who are doing professional course.

Placements: The placements of this college are little bit satisfactory. Last year 359 students got placed out of 400 in companies of Tata Consultancy Services, Kolkata and Axis Bank, Pune. Every year at least 5-6 companies visit this college and take about 100 students who got passed the exam.

Low placements and poor infrastructure.

Placements: This college will not get placements for their students, and I will not recommend any student to get placement from this college. The salary they give you after placement will be Rs. 5,000-6,000, and nowadays, any student is capable enough to earn Rs. 10,000-12,000 from teaching.

The best college for everyone.

Placements: As I am completing graduation this year, I can't say much about the placement, but yes one thing which I like very much was that recently TCS has come to our college for placement. Studying in a college such as this has a benefit that the student has an opportunity of working with one of the largest consultancy firm's that is TCS. I have no idea about the job offered or the salary offered by TCS to students as I was not able to be present in the interview due to some urgent work elsewhere, but I...

Umes Chandra college review.

Placements: Here placements are the not the best. Those who score exceptionally good marks might have a few companies giving them job offers but as far as the low student's category never get any kind of placements in any kind of department. Our placement cell definitely needs an improvement.

Low fee structure, below average infrastructure, but highly supportive faculty members.

Placements: Most of the students get placed through campus placements, but the salary offered by the companies is quite low. I got selected for BPO services of Tata Consultancy Services with a package of Rs. 2,50,000 per annum, so I rejected the offer. Only a few companies visit our college for placements, and most of the students don't even attend placements due to its bad reputation. Overall, I would rate placements 1 out of 5 stars.
