{Source: BCA students & alumni}

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary of the key points:

Pros:

* Industry-ready course with a focus on developing practical skills in computing and programming
* Cooperative and knowledgeable teachers who are willing to help students
* Good infrastructure, including smart classrooms, computer labs, and recreational facilities
* Opportunities for internships and jobs through external means, with packages ranging from INR2.9 Lacs to INR4.5 Lacs per annum
* Scholarships available for deserving students
* Campus life is decent, with occasional events and festivals

Cons:

* Limited placement opportunities within the college, with only a few companies visiting annually
* Old syllabus and limited emphasis on practical knowledge
* Infrastructure could be improved, particularly in terms of classroom maintenance
* Limited availability of resources, including Wi-Fi and library materials
* Low pass percentage (around 36%) due to outdated curriculum

Verdict:
While the course seems to offer some advantages, particularly in terms of preparing students for industry demands, the limitations mentioned above may outweigh the benefits for some individuals. Additionally, the lack of placement opportunities within the college might impact the employability of graduates. Therefore, potential investors should weigh the pros and cons carefully before making a decision.

Recommendation: For those considering investing in a BCA programme at University Commerce College, it would be essential to research further and gather more information about the college's reputation, academic standards, and career outcomes. {Source: BBA students & alumni}

Course Curriculum for BBA at University Commerce College

* Theory-based: The course curriculum is mainly theoretical, with limited practical exposure.
* Lack of relevance: Some students feel that the curriculum is not industry-relevant, which might affect job prospects.
* Easy-to-pass exams: According to some students, the exams are not too tough, and around 80-90% of students pass.

Good college with a brand name but outdated.
Placements: Hi, my college is Commerce college provides a decent placement because it is a government college. The alumni network is strong enough to provide and fetch the job in and off camps.
Infrastructure: The college has a well-developed infrastructure with spacious classrooms, a large library, and modern teaching aids. It also has a career counseling and placement cell to help students find employment. The college has a smart classroom, language lab, and research facility for teachers. The college also has an advanced security system with CCTV cameras.
Faculty: Faculty members are specialists in areas like finance, marketing, management, and taxation. They impart practical knowledge of the discipline through courses like business maths, financial accounting, company law, income tax, and auditing. Overall, it's good.

Good infrastructure, but English is not used.
Placements: Very few students get placement from this college. Only 10% of students get placement with a very low package of Rs 300,000-400,000. 20-25% of students get internships yearly but are not able to get placements because of the very low demand for this course. Small companies recruit the most from our college.
Infrastructure: Our course is not that good on its own, but with any similar course, the course value is higher. Our college facilities are highly rated, but there is a problem with them in English. There is no Wi-Fi. The classrooms are okay, and a few labs are there. The library is the best; every book is available. The canteen is a mess, but the hostel area is clean.
Faculty: Teachers are all qualified and well-educated but are mostly absent. The teaching quality is okay. The course is okay, and the curriculum is nice and relevant. Semester exams are not that hard, and anyone can easily pass. The pass percentage is good; 90% of students pass easily.
Other: Events are organized for students, and there is an upcoming event named Aarambh on the 7th of January. The students are good.

Faculty members are good in our course. The environment is okay.
Placements: Students should score a minimum of 60% in academics to get admission here. The highest salary package offered in my course is 3 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA. Students should score a minimum of 75% in academics to get internships in our course. The average salary package offered in my course ranges from 1.5-2 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Intel and Microsoft visit the college to hire students.
Infrastructure: Many facilities are available in our department like Wi-Fi, labs and a library. Facilities available are of good quality. Air-conditioned rooms are available in the college. The college provides a canteen outside the college where we get tea, coffee and biscuits. It has a good environment because of which I am here.
Faculty: All the teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable in our course. Their teaching quality is too good. Semester exams are easy for students. Some teachers are qualified from JEE colleges. Teachers tell us some important key points by which we perform well. They are friendly.

I was not satisfied as there were no placement policies.
Placements: Good packages are offered to the students who pass out from this college. The college works on individual personality development, which supports in cracking interviews and being confident with politeness. After graduation, students go off-campus and find jobs according to their stability.
Infrastructure: Our college has a very good library and a hostel to study and live in. There are plenty of hi-tech labs, an expensive sports complex, numerous amenities, including a salon, always functioning medical rooms, comfortable hostels, a multi-cuisine cafeteria, eating joints, laundry, and even ice-cream parlours.
Faculty: Semester exams are not so difficult, and it depends upon how you prepare for that. Teachers at the college are highly qualified professionals, and they teach their subjects with satisfaction. Teachers here are good, even though many students are regular students but do not attend college regularly.
Other: Events, fests, campus crowd, activities, connectivity, campus surroundings, and scholarships are available in our college.

Overall, this college has a lot of reputation because of the faculty.
Placements: About 75% of students are placed. The highest package would be 12 LPA, and the lowest would be 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies are CA firms, Accenture, etc. 60 to 80% of students got internships in big and medium firms like Accenture, Motions, JJK, etc. Main roles offered are accountants, auditors, etc.
Infrastructure: As a government college and university, the facilities are good but not great; on the other hand, the infrastructure of the college is not so eye-satisfying. Old types of classes, labs, and libraries are all good to do studies because of the staff and the faculty of the college.
Faculty: The teachers are very qualified, very knowledgeable, and very helpful as well. They all are very experienced in their respective fields. Very simple teaching quality they provide, which is very helpful for students. Yes, the curriculum is so much more relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. The annual and semester exams are tough and standardized. The pass percentage is almost 70%.

I was not satisfied as there were no placement policies, but the infrastructure & faculty were good.
Placements: No placement facilities were provided by the college. Since placements were not offered, there were no package offerings. No recruitment facilities were provided. No internship facility is provided. No placement policy is provided by the college; therefore, no roles are offered.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi access was not given to the students. Yes, there are labs available, and they are nice. Classrooms were also good. Yes, there is a library available for the students. And there are useful books available for students. Hostel facilities were fine. Also, the quality of food available was fine. Not sure about the medical facilities. Sports and games were supported by the college, and the equipment used was also provided for practice.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers in the college were really helpful, qualified, and very knowledgeable. And the teaching quality was also very good. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready to some extent. The difficulty level for the exams is average, and the pass percentage was 36%.
Other: The reason for choosing the course is just the interest in businesses; it provides the students with basic knowledge about business and economics. Improvements can be made; more practical knowledge about the business world should be provided in the course.
