The university is totally good.

Placements: The placement cell is very active. Everybody supports, and the minimum package from this place is approximately 6 LPA. The placements come from many multinational companies like Mankind, Indorama, and there are different type of NGOs that come to our university.

There is good infrastructure, weather, and culture in our beloved university UBKV.

Placements: Around 35% of students were placed in the course in our university. The highest salary package offered is 9.75 LPA. The lowest salary package offered in our course is 4 LPA. Companies like IIFCO, Pradhan, Swarna, etc., visit our college. Around 60% of students get a chance for internships in many companies like IIFCO, Agri Inform, Syngenta, etc.

It has a good infrastructure.

Placements: The salary package is more or less sufficient now and also in the future. Now, it is difficult to get a job in any company directly. If you are sincere, you will get a job in a better position in the future.

The college is very good, with good infrastructure.

Placements: Most of the genius students except veterinary students are placed in that courses. In my University, not only agricultural students are present, but horticulture and agriculture engineering students are also present. The package of that courses is moderately high. About 80 to 90 percent of students get a chance to do a job in the University through exams and interviews.

Infrastructure is good. Still, in the future, infrastructure can be very good.

Placements: Most of the genius students got placed in our course. The salary package offered in our course is not high because it is a government university. About 90% of the students got a chance to do a job through our university. Bright students always get a chance directly to the banking companies and some other agriculture type companies.

There is a good infrastructure here nowadays. Even in future, it will become very good.

Placements: Very brilliant students got a chance for placements in our course. In our course, the salary package offered is moderately high due to being a professional course. It is a government certified college, and it is affiliated with ICAR. A greater percentage of students get qualified for jobs from our university. In most cases, academically top students get direct placements in various agriculture-related companies and other banking companies.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: About 15-20% students are placed in our course but there are many job vacancy in the government sector. The highest package is 6 lakhs and the lowest is 3.6 lakhs the average package is 4 lakhs. The students of the technology faculty got the internship but the students of our faculty don't get any such internship. Top roles are the vast knowledge about the different methods technique and management of agriculture.

As a student of UBKV, I suggest others opt for this college.

Placements: Placements are very poor here, and only a few students got a chance to get placed in a top company. A few students got an internship from this course. Since 2016, the placement cell is inactive. Authority must take the initiative to activate this cell. We appeal for this to the authority. But I think this problem would be solved, and there is nothing to worry about it.

Everything is fine here except for placements.

Placements: I am extremely dissatisfied with the placement cell of our college. There is a placement cell, but it is inactive. Very few students get jobs through campus placements. Agricultural companies and private banks recruit students from our university. Only a few companies recruit students from here.

The college is ideal for learning in West Bengal.

Placements: Almost 20% of the students got placements, and the rest preferred higher studies. Some fertilizer companies and banks come to recruit students. The salary package offered is 6 LPA. Internships are not required in this course.

The placement cell should be more active, and modern instruments are required in the labs.

Placements: Very few students get the chance to get placed in my course. It is a college of excellence where people mostly opt for higher studies. Recruiting companies are Ralais Kribhco, IDBI Bank etc. I don't know about the packages offered in my course, but I heard from my seniors that the package was good enough for agriculture students.

Review of Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya.

Placements: It is a college of excellence where people mostly opt for higher studies. About 58 students pursued agriculture from UBKV in between 2014-2018. Out of them, only 3 students opt for placements, and 2 got successfully placed. Rest 55 students opt for their higher studies. Top recruiting companies are Rallis, Kribhco, IDBI Bank and Pradhan, which are private limited and cooperatives. Top roles offered are sales and marketing executive and junior manager post. Faculty members and infrastructure in our college are good, but I am dissatisfied with placements.

Placements: I have not seen any placements in the past two years, and students are also not interested in placements. The maximum number of students prepare for higher studies, while the rest of the students enrol in government jobs. However, before 2017, some students got placed in good companies from our college.

Best university with a low fees providing the best job opportunities.

Placements: Students who passed B.Sc. in agriculture surely get private or government jobs. UBKV placement cell is good enough. Prof. Koushik Pradhan is a placement officer. Most of the willing students get jobs in Bayer, PepsiCo, Lay's, Krishi Rasayan, Tata Rallis, etc. The highest package is 10 Lacs, the lowest is above 3.6 Lacs. All students get internships in various NGOs and companies.
