A hub for education, innovation and career.
Placements: Uttaranchal University in Dehradun showed strong placement outcomes last year, attracting over 500 companies in 2023. The placement rate for that year was around 68%. Key recruiters are Google, TCS, Cognizant, and Infosys. They offer salaries that generally range between 4-5 lacs.
Infrastructure: Hostels in Uttaranchal University, Dehradun, are excellent. There are many options for rooms: single seater, double seater, and triple seater. Wi-Fi is present throughout the university with good speed. Classrooms are decent, not high-tech, but decent. The library is awesome.
Faculty: Faculty at the university is also good, with every teacher having a Ph.D. degree. They are experienced and helpful, as their experience helps students a lot. The curriculum is good for BBA students. Semester exams are a little hard but manageable; it depends how much you write in exams.
Other: I chose BBA from Uttaranchal University because, in all of Dehradun, they offered me a specialization from the second year. I am pursuing a BBA in digital marketing, and this is the best thing about the university: that they offer specialization from the second year.

Absolutely satisfied with faculty, infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: You can join this college for studying and getting placed in MNCs. The highest package for BBA is 9 lakh, and the lowest is 3 lakh. 70% of students are getting placed through the placement cell. Students can get the maximum placement opportunities from companies that are provided by the placement cell.
Infrastructure: The food provided by the hostel mess is very good and nice. It has good medical facilities. On campus, they have provided an ATM, gym, tuck shop, coffee shop, and many more things. They have also provided a bakehouse for sitting with friends and colleagues.
Faculty: The faculty are very kind in nature; they will help you grow and succeed toward your career focus. They are conducting many types of events. Faculty take the students on industrial visits according to their courses. Semester exams are very normal. You have to pass with only 24 out of 60.

Events don't happen that much and if it happens you have to pay a fee.
Placements: About 40 percent of students were placed in college. The highest package is 19.5 LPA. The lowest package is 4 LPAs. The average package is 5 LPAs. Wipro and Ceasefire were the top companies that recruited students from the campus. 30–40 percent of students got internships at Wipro and Accenture. Finance and HR are the top roles offered.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is fine but there is a lack of greenery and Wi-Fi is only available for hostelers and faculty. Only some classrooms have AC, and the projector doesn't work sometimes. Some computers in labs don't work; the library is fine. The hostel rooms are quite small, but they have lifts and a basketball court; toilets and bathrooms are combined for all on a floor; the food sometimes is of bad quality and only a few options are available on the menu for hostelers; the canteen has a wide range of options but is a bit expensive; there is always an ambulance available for accidents; there are not many sports and games, only a few like football, volleyball, and basketball; and students have to pay a fee for participating in any kind of sports tournament.
Faculty: Some teachers are no doubt excellent at teaching and knowledgeable but some do seem a bit professional and lack quality education while also helping students with doubts. Only a few subjects in the curriculum seem to be relevant and can help in the future. Some subjects, like EVS and critical thinking, are added unnecessarily, become a burden in exams and also reduce the total score of a student. The semester exams can be difficult depending on the faculty, as classes have different kinds of teachers so their teaching can also effect the difficulty of the exams. The pass percentage as of 2024 was 80 to 85 percent.
Other: I chose this course because I want to pursue in finance and I think it will help me achieve my future goals. Some good things about BBA are that you get basic knowledge about commerce and how it is important to know about the financial state of our nation and the companies that are helping people get placed and experience the work environment. I wish that there was more practical implementation, like field visits, working for a company, interaction with more work-related people, etc. Events do happen in a quiet bit of time that is mostly organized by students by collecting funds from students, as well as festivals that are organized over a span of 4 to 5 years or less but they are good and entertaining. The campus is placed on the main road so it becomes difficult sometimes to reach it, plus vehicles running on the main road are dangerous to cross. Students can be seen smoking outside of the campus.

Uttaranchal University is amazing. They give a good facility and good environment.
Placements: 55% of students in my course were placed. The highest package offered was 9 lakhs, and the average package was 4 lakhs. The top recruitment companies were Amazon and Bajaj. 85% of the students got internships, but I don't know which companies they interned with. The placement coordinator didn't say what the top roles were.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are very good. The classrooms have comfortable chairs and tables, and the projectors work properly. The labs have been modified to include new-generation computers, and the library is very comfortable. I can check out books for free for 15 days, and they have all the books I need for my courses. The only problem is that the wifi doesn't always work properly.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful. They are always willing to answer questions and help students clear their doubts. They are also very motivating. All of the teachers have a PhD and are very knowledgeable about their subjects. The teaching quality is very good, and there is no difficulty passing the semester exams. The passing percentage criteria is 40 percent.
Other: I chose this course because I want to do business in the future. The best thing about this course is that it provides students with overall knowledge about business. The events are very amazing and students enjoy them. The fests are very amazing and popular celebrities come to them. The campus crowd is amazing, with approximately 50,000 students attending.

The university has good infrastructure, facilities, campus life, and decent placements.
Placements: The average package offered is around 3–4 lacs per annum and it goes as high as 6-7 lacs. There are not many big recruiting companies, but recently, Accenture came for an on-campus placement drive. And talking about internships, it's not worth it to depend on college, as they don't provide good internships.
Infrastructure: Talking about infrastructure, its better than the placement. The campus is big and well maintained. There are almost all the facilities needed as for universities like libraries, Wi-Fi, grounds, food courts, gyms, hospitals, etc. Talking about hostels, the average rent is very affordable and talking about food, if it's good for a month or a few months, then you won't like it anymore. Apart from food, the hostel is very good; there is a big campus to roam around on, and there are different grounds for each sport. So yes, it's decent, I could say.
Faculty: Facilities are okay—not top-notch but not low either. There are faculty that I found in my last semester that focuses on practical teaching and giving knowledge as for market demand for BBA students, and there are also many teachers who just come and teach for exam purposes. 30-40% teachers I found during my course that they taught really well, which was very helpful and relevant to the curriculum. The course curriculum is relevant but teachers have to teach different things apart from just giving lectures .
Other: I chose this course to expand my knowledge about management and running businesses so that I could make my career around it. And the management course itself is really good, as you get practical knowledge about business. I would wish that there should be more industry exposure and that students should not be charged for industry visits. Talking about extracurricular activities, college does well; you will find each month that there are programs and events happening around. There are sports events, fests, and different workshops that happen on a regular basis too.

The infrastructure is good, but placement is not good come before thinking.
Placements: Only 2 to 3 percent of students have been placed. The highest package is around 1 crore, and the minimum is around 5, and the top companies are Pyramid and Hyatt Hotel. I recommend not going for admission in this college as it is a waste of money, so do not go for it.
Infrastructure: The course facility is up to the mark, but if you are looking for hostels, then do not go for it as it is a total waste of money, so do not waste your money. The food is okay, not up to the mark, so rather not waste your money here; find some better options.
Faculty: The faculty is okay, not up to the mark, and the course is more theoretical, not so much practical, which is the biggest disadvantage, and the course has H. The semesters are easy to crack; there are but of tea to crack them you will surely pass as the syllabus is too easy to cope up with.
