DOON UNIVERSITY IS A STATE University of Uttarakhand located in Dehradun.
Placements: If you can grab placement on the basis of your own hard work, then come here. Although placement for the language department is quite decent, you can expect 3-7 LPA at max. If you want a good package, you need to work on yourself to improve your skills by yourself.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite good. Quality of roads and buildings, library, computer labs, and other laboratories are good. Also, the very well-maintained campus is full of lush greenery. There are so many plants and trees with so many dogs and other animals. Overall, campus life is good at Doon University.
Faculty: Some teachers are good, but some are not. But you can get help from your seniors. Seniors are very helpful and supportive, at least for my department (Eco Honors). Rest I can't say. Also, if you issue a book from the library, you can get any book related to your course.
Other: If you want a degree from a government college in minimal fees and want to enjoy college life, it is the best college for you. And also, if you want to prepare for any exam, then it is again a great place.

Good knowledgeable teachers.
Placements: There were about 50-60 students who were enrolled in this course. There is a very low chance of any placement in this course. I would suggest if you are just knowledge-oriented, you may apply for this course in our college, but no guarantee of placement.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are good. The library of our building is very nice and provides a self-issue or return facility. There are many sports and games facilities here, and there's a huge ground. Many tournaments happen. The canteen's menu has many food items and is good to go.
Faculty: Teachers are well-educated, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching skills are just awesome. They listen to us and clear our doubts no matter how many times we ask. Exams are not so easy, nor so hard. It depends on students how much they stay attentive in class.

I am not satisfied with this college.
Placements: My seniors were placed in Amazon, Accenture, and Shipra Travel. The highest salary package was 13 LPA in Accenture, the average salary package was 4 LPA. And the lowest salary package was 0, and Our college doesn't provide internships; we have to search for them ourselves. Placements are not that good except for the Japanese and Chinese departments. They get good packages. But, still more than 30% of the students in a class were not placed.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi doesn't work most of the time in college. In the hostel, it works for a few rooms only. Overall, the hostels are really good. Students get the kind of freedom and liberty that no other hostel can provide, especially for girls. Timings are 10:00 pm, and it's easy to leave and come back to the hostel without any hassle for leave applications. Caretakers and wardens are friendly too. We have a quick first aid facility as well. The food is really good and full of variety. For sports, we have a badminton court, football, cricket, table tennis, volleyball, basketball, etc. Inter-department tournaments are conducted annually.
Faculty: Teachers are really good and qualified. This course is irrelevant. It is better to do a language as a side course while doing graduation in some other field. Semester exams are easy, and more than 90% of students pass in my course. Above all, this course doesn't really prepare one for a job because it's just a language, not a technical skill.
Other: I chose this course because it was easy and had few job opportunities. But honestly, I regret it. The course is not that useful unless you have some connections in MNCs. This college should improve its curriculum and placement approach. The campus is quite beautiful, and you can see mountains from all sides. Dehradun itself is a beautiful, less polluted city, so that's a plus point. If we want to study in Dehradun, there are better options than this course and university. They might be expensive, but if our pockets can afford it, then choose them.

The college has great infrastructure and good environment.
Placements: The percentage of students getting placed is not very good; about 25% of students are placed from the college each year. The highest package from the college ranges from 8 to 9 lakh per annum, while the lowest package is between 2 to 3 lakh per annum. Recruiting companies for my course include Sun Pharma and Lupin; however, the selection percentage in my course is 0%. Although the placement rate in my course is 0%, students can pursue roles in research, such as project associate assistant, and can easily enter the biology field.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for my course is good, but the facilities for a research course are not ideal. However, there is good availability of Wi-Fi, labs, and a library. The hostel accommodation provides single rooms, but food quality and hygiene are not up to standard, and washroom hygiene also needs improvement. Campus facilities are available from 10 am to 9 pm.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and qualified, with some selected from Stanford University, and their teaching quality is very good. I don’t think this course is industry-relevant, nor is it industry-ready. Exam difficulty is moderate, with high exam monitoring by a flying squad. The pass percentage is very good and varies by department and teacher.
Other: I chose this course because of my strong interest in biology and my desire to conduct research in this field. The course provides a solid foundation for biology research, which is its best aspect. Improvements could include more research work support, which is currently lacking. Events and fests are conducted during Holi and Diwali. Scholarships are available, with options for students whose parents’ income is below 3 lakh. Extracurricular activities are well-supported, with five clubs for music, dance, theater, debate, and photography.

Most of the info about doon university.
Placements: The highest package students received is 25 lakh per annum, and the lowest is 5 to 8 lakh per annum. Wipro, Amazon, etc., are the top companies who offer jobs to our students. In the psychology department, most of the students have done internships in hospitals and NGOs.
Infrastructure: In my course BSc/Ba psychology there are great facilities for our department. We have our own club , psychology club, smart boards, and the best collection of books in our library. We have our own psychology lab , counseling room , and happiness laboratory. The hostel fee of girls is 22000 something, and the boys’ hostel is 24000 something for 6 months [1 semester]. The food menu is decided by the hostel students through the mess committee. The food quality is decent. There is a dispensary in our university and a travel vehicle for medical emergencies. In our university, many sports are played: cricket, football, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, and indoor games like chess as well.
Faculty: The teachers are very friendly, humble, and very qualified. Every teacher has its own teaching style, which is very interesting and easy to understand. The curriculum is according to the New Education Policy ( NEP). The curriculum includes most of the competitive exam syllabus, so students don't have to enroll in other programs to study for competitive exams.
Other: Our passing-out batch was our first batch of psychology. I chose this course because I have a genuine interest in forensic and criminal psychology. Things I wish to change about my course are that I want field work rather than classroom settings. Our university provides scholarships.

Poor faculty and curriculum the only good thing is campus infrastructure and environment.
Placements: Right now the course has been newly introduced here last year, so there's no passed out batch but the faculty promises to bring companies and internships to the college. The campus crowd is very generic, you will not find the environment very competitive and tough. Its more of relaxed which is also a sort of a drawback because a better peer group gears you up and ignites competition.
Infrastructure: Starting from college -classroom infrastructure I would say is average. The issue of Wi-Fi is there but its resolvable. Library has good resources and books, really liked it. The hostel that has been newly built is exceptionally good in comparison to hostels all over India. Rooms are spacious and you get really good storage facilities too. The drawbacks are the sanitation in washrooms and water coolers in hostels as well as in the academic buildings. Washrooms are in really the worst state and so are the water coolers. The administration really needs to work on them. As for the medications and sports facilities you get ample opportunities along with the opportunity to enroll in NCC and NSS.
Faculty: The faculty, curriculum and study is a major drawback here. Though its understandable to some level since the course is newly introduced but still the flaws stand out much. The faculty members recruited are with no-experience and poor teaching skills. We only have CS labs and no other mechanical, or electrical labs. In short definitely a big and major drawback is the faculty and curriculum.
