A review of VESIM college (MS).

Placements: Placements in the college are not okay. Companies that visited the campus for placements were HDFC, Aditya Birla Capital, NABARD, Sharekhan, Beehive, Maple and Wipro. Packages offered were around 4-6 lacs per annum. Almost 60% of students got internships from the college. There is a placement cell in our college, and it is helpful.

Good placements, infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The Placements are good around 85-90% of the students got placed. The highest package offered was 5 lakhs annually, the average package is 3 lakhs and the lowest package is 2.75 lakhs. Companies were Barclays, SSC & Globeop, ICICI Securities, Naukri.com, etc. The offered mainly comprised of associate, analyst, market research, etc. They provided various NISM certification courses to enhance the knowledge in the field and to get the desired position and company. ...

A college with good infrastructure, facilities and an active curriculum.

Placements: As I have completed my MMS in finance, placements for finance students are poor as compared to marketing guys. Around I must say 45 to 50% students were only placed out of 180 students with the highest package salary of 7 lacs PA and 3 lacs PA was the lowest for marketing students. For business development role and for finance students, the average package offered was 4 lacs PA for back office, selling of insurance in banks or as financial analyst roles. 15-20 companies visited our campus like S...

One of the best institutes - A complete package.

Placements: The placements provided were pretty good. There were many top companies as well as startups where we got placed. The placement team over here is very good. Few Companies came for placements during our batch were Nomura, Naukri, Dentsu Aegis Network (iProspect), Graphene Media, Tata and many more.

If you are not getting Chetna or Saraf, you may think about VESIM.

Placements: For finance students, it was average. The companies didn't seem to be much interested in the same. Also, the placement department was a little less active. I had to apply through my alumni. Companies didn't come up with satisfactory positions. Marketing is all about sales. People don't expect anything more than that.

The college is good with good placements which have improved a lot as many new companies and startups are visiting the campus for placement along with awesome pay packages and also the faculty members are very good as they take care of not just imparting the syllabus related knowledge but also impart what is happening in the industry and there are many guest lectures that keep on happening so as to get exposures from the industry. Along with that, there are various events that keep on happening ...

To be the part of VESIM was a great experience and learnt various skills. However, there are aspects where college needs to improve. As far as faculty is concerned, it is very knowledgeable in every aspect. The sports should be encouraged and also the various events should be added to the curriculum.

The pros of this college are that it offers a new business analytics course and a good faculty. The cons of the college are that the placement coordination is not done properly and companies invited are not even good. Last year, only two good companies, naukri.com and Godrej were invited. There are no campus facilities. Every event is done in junior college's ground.

The college is nice. Placements coordination and attitude are the areas of improvement for the college. Overall things are decent to decide whether one should take admission or not. Extra-curricular activities and industrial visits are not much happening here, which should be started soon. The experienced teaching staff and administration staff helps one to grow and improve the learning process. Canteen facilities are good but not great, even hostel facility is important for choosing this colleg...

The main purpose to join this college was to get trained from the best industry experienced faculty. As I did the research after my results about which college would be best to enhance and sharpen my skills, the college best suited for me was this as it has all the major streams and offers subjects not only the curricular activities but also the extra activities like the CSR/Swatch Bharat Abhiyan/Welfare/Yoga/Events and many more. I got the opportunity to work with the most experienced faculty i...

I was a student of the 2013-2015 batch, it is one of the preferred colleges in Mumbai to do MBA. College is known for the faculty of marketing. Apart from that college provides a good industry exposure to students and also encourage students to take part in various competition across the country. Placement is decent and the crowd in college is also decent. One can expect a good package if he is good in all activities. Also, the added advantage of Mumbai is there as there are a very good visiting...

They only Women’s College. Very strict and more enjoyable. The Faculty Members are well-known persons. And easy to adapt environment for girls while encouraging more interactions and are conducting different functions. They provide free bus service. The hostel is well maintained and the food is good.

Classes are a mix of presentations, theory and practical approach. Professors are knowledgeable but such are few in numbers. Staff is very helpful. Infrastructure has improved a lot. The other aspects of the college are almost at par with other institutions. Placements are sometimes a bother (though I did not face any). Placements happening in the college are Marketing, Finance, HR and operations (in that order).Management looks after for students issues and takes appropriate actions to resolv...

I joined this college because of its sister Engineering College which was quite reputed. However, I can't say the same for MBA college. The faculty department is riddled with in-house jealousy and competition. most of the senior faculty members are literally the goondas of the college, especially one Bengali professor. There is no proper communication between course coordinator and lecturers and as a result, there have been instances of 3 lectures scheduled at same time and 6 submissions and 2 V...

VESIT is one of the best college in Mumbai. It comes in top 10. Though the locality of the college is not so good as compared to other well-known colleges in Mumbai. The faculty of this college is too good in terms of their ready to help attitude. The hostellite facility is not so impressive. This college is like other home for some people. Students can get a lot to learn from this college. Post graduation, teaching and management institute also comes under the campus of this institute, so t...

VESIT is very good college in terms of faculty, cleanliness, discipline. TPO of that college is too good in nature. Relation of teachers with student is healthy. Placement is too good. The canteen of the college is too large. Campus is located at good place. The learning which one can get on this college is unbelievable. So many communities this college has got which motivate the students to take part in extracurricular activites. Peers of this college are too good.

VESIMSR is a college for those who have a limited budget for MMS. The crowd and campus life is not that great but then you have some good teachers and guest lectures for your development. Usually a big percentage of marketing students get placed in my branch. Companies like Info Edge India (Naukri.com), HDFC, ICICI Prudential, Just Dial, Zarro Education, Nomura come every year for campus placements. If one has very good communication skills and want to do MMS in marketing, has a limited budg...

One of the top colleges if you are opting for PGDM with good average placement.

Placements: Almost each and every student has been placed but the average package which is showcased as 7-8LPA is not very true. There are many students who are offered 5-5.5LPA. The highest package was around 20LPA for a Marketing student. Top recruiting companies are Deloitte, GEP, General Mills etc. Almost 90% students are placed in the companies with few converting PPO's.
