Veterinary College Bangalore review
Placements: Firstly don't come with a hope that you can get a government job because there is more competition to get a government job. But there are job opportunities in a private sector like home visits, field vet and you can also become a clinician or also you can join in another clinic.
Infrastructure: Separate hostel for boys and girls and the hostels are very neat and clean and alcohol and smoking and ragging is strictly prohibited in the hostel. The fees is also very less in hostel and everyone can join, there is no restriction for joining free wifi is available at the hostel and smart boards are also there in each classroom in the college. We have got a big library with a peaceful environment.
Faculty: As for us there were no semester system, we got annual exam and for every 3 months we get a internal exam. Total 3 internal exams and 1 annual exam. Teachers are very helpful and very knowledgeable, almost all are PhD holders . And they will solve every doubt we have. There is no much difficulty for passing these exam but if you want get more marks then you should definitely study hard.
Other: In this college not only studies but extra curricular activities are also there like sports and fests are also done. Scholarship are also provided here, it includes laptop ,bag, apron are available for only SC, ST students. Only for OBC students get around 30000rs.

College also got the renowned testing centers within the campus. Library is equipped with free wifi and computers for use. Each classroom has got smart board. Hostel facilities include a room shared by 3, spacious studying table and a chair. Mess provides healthy bit compromising in taste. Washrooms and living arena are maintained spick and span.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified int heir respective field of study. Each department has got a head who is a PHD scholar. Professors and associate professors have got well teaching skills and to adapt to latest technology through teaching with smart boards also. Curriculum is best as made by veterinary council of lndia. Vets do not lag behind due to their training during the college. Yearly exams are difficult as one needs to score minimum 50 percentage of the marks to get through. Passing percentage is 90.
Other: I chose this course due to my affection towards pets. Best thing is satisfaction of treating animals which is one of the noble job to do.

We have a good future after studying this course.
Placements: I got seat via CET. I got seventy percent in PIC and four thousand rank in CET. The lowest salary offered is thirty-five thousand rupees per month, and the highest salary is according to the job. The average salary is fifty thousand rupees per month. It is the best college in Karnataka. We are offered different roles in placements.
Infrastructure: We have free Wi-Fi facility in the hostel, and all kinds of facilities are available on this campus. The labs are good, and we have a huge library. We have extra time for sports and games. There is no drinking water provided, and except that, it is the number 1 college in Karnataka.
Faculty: Teachers at this college are very helpful and friendly. They are highly qualified and experienced. They use different methods to teach classes. I did not get industry exposure.
Other: College day, fresher day and hostel day were organised. We got scholarships.

The best place to become the best veterinarian.
Placements: Ours, being a medical course, the placements are 100%, but there are a variety of avenues. Few have joined government hospitals as doctors, few have set up their private clinics, and 5 guys have gone to the US for PhD. A few are in the poultry industry. The salary ranges around Rs. 50,000-1 LPM. Few NGOs interviewed for placements and recruited them as veterinarians in their clinics. Everyone got the internships and attended in different places like Mysore zoo, Bannerghatta Biological Park, CPDO, CCBF, CFSPTI, and SLBTC at Hesaraghatta. It was really of worth. The stipend offered was Rs. 17,000 per month for all the students. As I said, there is no as such placement cell in our college. Since our profession is service based and is on demand, everyone
got the job, and who wished to do higher education are pursuing their studies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is really good. It is the oldest college in the state. It is having its own beauty. The infrastructure provided to students is sufficient but can be improved. There is Wi-Fi available for each department, and we can use for study purpose. The classrooms are of staircase view, which is comfortable for attending classes. Medical facilities are also available. Government medical officer attends our cases if we are sick. Sports facilities are awesome, all the sports implements are provided, and the playground is very big. Indoor stadium is also provided for indoor games. Even a multi gym is provided for all the students. The quality of the labs can be rated 4 out of 5. Almost all practicals are demonstrated but can be improved even more. The classrooms as I said are comfortable and audible, and it can be rated 4 out of 5. The quality of food in the canteen is 3.5 out of 5. Almost all food recipes are good, but some food items are not tasty though. Both veg and the non-veg menu are available in the college canteen. The hostel rooms are like heaven, and each room is for 2 students, and it is sufficiently big. Veg and non-veg mess are available for the hostel boarders. Hot water facilities are provided for bathing. Cleanliness is well taken care of. No issues as such to complain about.
Faculty: The teachers are extremely helpful, they teach us in depth and even clarify our doubts. The teachers are very much accessible for the students. The teaching quality is 4.5 out of 5, and there is every scope to get better. The teaching methods involve blackboard teaching, e- classroom teaching, presentations, demonstrations, giving assignments, proper conduct of exams regularly, etc. The faculty to the student ratio is 7:1. They provide the field knowledge and share their life experiences during teaching, which helps us a lot in understanding the outside society. Almost every course is important. Mostly last 2 years of the course are practically important, which deals with diagnosis and treatment aspect of animals.
Other: I will just list out the events conducted in the college. Fresher’s day is love, and graduation day is painful. All national festivals are celebrated with dignity. Dog shows are conducted. Vet fest, Kannada month fest, ethnic day, sports meet, inter-college sports, national level youth festival, etc. are also conducted, and it’s really fun.

There are separate well-equipped labs for every department. The campus is very beautiful and green.
Placements: Placement for jobs is called by the Government of Karnataka for veterinary doctor post. Also, we can continue higher studies by doing M.V.Sc. and by attending ICAR exam or local university exams. Also, we can get the job in the Karnataka milk federation.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are good and all the classrooms are having a projector. Wi-Fi is available in the hostel. Separate well-equipped labs are there for every department. There is a dispensary also present. Sports and games facilities are also good. We are having access to indoor games also.
Faculty: The faculty are highly qualified, helpful and informative. The teaching is excellent. The traditional blackboard method of teaching along with the projector is used. In every class, we are having around 65 students.
Other: Many sports and cultural events are conducted. The campus is very beautiful and green having a number of trees. The campus is well connected with the BMTC bus facility. Scholarships are also provided by the government for students.

Oversatisfied due to vast learning facility and huge scope for future.
Placements: Veterinary doctors have plenty of scopes in there. After completion, most of them chose to go for Masters and then PhD. But, of them who opt for jobs, have a well-paid salary ranging from 7 to 8 Lacs per annum when he/she starts. But in government. Jobs, you get the Grade A officer salary with 20-25% Non-Practising Allowance which ultimately leads to a salary ranging from 70k to 1L per month. Everyone here is getting a decent job. Some companies even came for campusing but No one appeared as they were offering 50k/month which the new graduate doctors saw it to be a little less.
Infrastructure: Highly equipped with modern learning gadgets. Professors are qualified enough. The playground is having a gallery as well. Canteen, roads (with footpath and designer lamps), a JHEEL with arrangements to sit and everything have just the perfect quality one should have.
Faculty: The professors are qualified enough. They are really great scientists with foreign acknowledgements. All type of teaching methods like projectors, field exposures, practicals are being followed. Teacher to student ratio is 1:25. The course curriculum is really helpful and it completes the graduation degree of Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry within a 5.5 years time span.
