Really good faculty and teaching methods.
Placements: The placement rate in this college is over 50%. The top hiring companies are Birla group, ICICI Bank, Reliance, Policy Bazaar, etc. The average starting salary ranges from 15000 to 20000. There are no opportunities for internships from my college. Since this is a government college, you don't get a job. On average, the fee for the whole course is 60,000.
Infrastructure: Our college is a heritage building with many historical touches. The classrooms are also quite old, but it's a memorable part of Vidyasagar. Labs, a library and a gym are available. However, there are no hostel facilities in my college but my university does offer hostel accommodation.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and friendly, always there for their students. They are qualified and knowledgeable in their respective domains and try to teach at their level The course curriculum is relevant and updated, and the topics are chosen mainly focusing on the practical aspects. The course curriculum makes the students industry-ready, properly skilled and knowledgeable for the future. The semester exams are hard and need a lot of preparation to pass.
Other: I chose this course because I love it and this course provides me a good practical experience. In my college, many festivals are celebrated, such as the freshmen party, Basanta Utsav, Independence day, Republic Day, etc. My college organizes annual sports; indoor and outdoor games options are available.

This college is well reputed and has a good education culture.
Placements: The placement rate in this college is over 50%. The top hiring companies are Birla Group, Reliance, Genpact, ICICI Bank, Policy Bazar, etc. The salary package is around 4 LPA. The average starting salary ranges from 12000 to 15000 per month. With their experience and expertise, the students can earn beyond this range. The college offers internships for one-year full-time internships to students in Deutsche Bank, Morgan Stanley, etc. The college also provides the opportunity for secure jobs at various MNCs like Accenture and American Express. Top roles offered include positions in finance, research, data analysis, consulting, etc.
Infrastructure: There is a huge collection of books, journals, and sufficient relevant books in the library to fulfill the students' requirements. The classrooms are huge, maintained, and well-equipped, and there are lab rooms represented for various subjects. Staff rooms and students' common rooms are well-maintained. Boys and girls have separate hostels that provide clean bathrooms, water and electricity supply, and proper security to the students. The canteen provides good quality hygienic food at an affordable price, and a variety of food items are available. The campus provides basic first aid and health care. The college organizes annual sports; indoor and outdoor game options are available, and the campus has a playground.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and friendly, always there for the students. They are qualified and knowledgeable in their respective domains and try to teach at their level best. They always teach in a way that will be understandable by the students easily. They clear the doubts of the students and conduct seminars on different topics. Their teaching quality is undoubtedly too good. The course curriculum is relevant and updated, and the topics are chosen mainly focusing on the practical aspects. The course curriculum makes the students industry-ready, properly skilled, and knowledgeable for the future. The semester exams are hard and need a lot of preparation to pass. The students need to study hard before the exams very well and revise all the topics thoroughly. The pass percentage of this course is around 90%.

Placements: The course is very easy, thanks to our teachers' guidance. They offer an average package, and 20% of students get a chance. They provide multiple job roles. I am very satisfied, but this is a normal graduation college, so you can't expect very much from them. Overall, it's a good experience.
Infrastructure: The classroom is very clean, and the environment is so good. The staff is very helpful. There is no hostel attached to the college. Wifi, a canteen, and a playground are available. The food quality is very good and reasonable, and the staff's behavior is also good. Seniors are very helpful.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. I am impressed. The semester exam is easy for us because our teachers guide us. They provide all the notes. If you get 20 out of 65, then you pass. Teachers are very polite and down-to-earth, and I am very grateful.
Other: I love these subjects, so I chose this course. Joining this college is the best decision for me. I am very grateful. College life is very fun. They organize freshers' events, and we enjoyed a lot.

It is the best college in Kolkata to take admission for the B.Sc. geography Hons Course.
Placements: You can't get placed by pursuing B.Sc. Geography Hons course, but you can give the competitive exam very well by following this course, and the faculty is outstanding. You can instead do M.Sc. in various fields like oceanography, hydrology and the most popular, geoinformatics, and you get a job.
Infrastructure: The college is non-AC. But the 24/7 Wi-Fi is there. The infrastructure is good, but the building could be better because it is old and you can find its heritage. Unfortunately, there is no hostel facility. If you are willing to live beside the college, you have to choose to pay guests, and there is plenty of paying guest rooms for boys and girls at a low price.
Faculty: The faculty is good, as you can expect from this college. The college has the most rated department as it has highly qualified teachers who also teach M.Sc. courses at the same college, and you will feel proud if you get admission to this college for Hons.
Other: You are getting admission to this college because it has the oldest geography department in Kolkata and, in a greater sense, West Bengal. Secondly, it is the first college in India established by an Indian, and the person was ISHWAR CHANDRA VIDYASAGAR.

I am dissatisfied because of faculty members.
Placements: Our college doesn't provide on-campus placements but some teachers will guide students for placements. Students good at coding and data structures will get good jobs with good salary packages. The role offered in our course is a developer.
Infrastructure: Hardware and software labs are average. Wi-Fi is available all over the campus. Software lab is air-conditioned. Every department has its library. Good food is served in the canteen. Medical support, sports, and games are available.
Faculty: All teachers are not the same because some of them are helpful and some are not. Teachers are very knowledgeable but don't teach well. It is hard to score in internal exams. I scored more in offline semester exams than in online semester exams. Online exam marks are given by the department.
Other: I chose this course because I like computers. I learned a lot about computers in this course. Facilities should be better. Every year, the college union hosts a fest with some special guests which gives fun.

I am absolutely satisfied with my teachers' support.
Placements: In my time, there were 56 students. On average, the fee for the whole course is 30k, and in my course, there is an excursion that costs 9k. There are no opportunities for internships from my college. Since this is a government college, you don't get a job.
Infrastructure: Our college is a heritage building with many historical touches. The classrooms are also quite old, but it's a memorable part of Vidyasagar. Labs, a library, and a gym are available. However, there are no hostel facilities in my college, but my university does offer hostel accommodations.
Faculty: Yes, our teachers are very helpful, and our principal is kind-hearted. For me, the best college for this course is Vidyasagar College. The semester exams are a bit hard, but I think my university is the best because those who pass from there get the best opportunities in their future.
Other: I chose this subject because I love it, and I believe it's very good since it provides practical experience. In my college, many festivals are celebrated, such as Freshers' Party, Basanta Utsav, Independence Day, and Republic Day.
