This is a very good college.
Placements: Around 60% of students got placements. It was good as many entrepreneurship strategy classes were arranged via this college for students to help them to grow on their own as well as learn about new skills. Students got training for mushroom cultivation along with B.Sc. classes so that students can learn and help themselves. Apart from that many more such programs were organised for students' betterment.
Infrastructure: In this college, Wi-Fi, laboratory, computer rooms, and everything was available. This college thinks about the comfort of students. A beautiful garden was also available. A canteen was provided and the environment was also peaceful. It provides all equipment for the practicals which were required in our course.
Faculty: In this college, teachers were helpful and supportive. They were caring and thoughtful about students. It makes students ready for the industries. Students got an excursion for an industry visit of 3 days. When I went there I learned how deaf people can work and help their families for their livelihood.
Other: The paper printing, making of incense, glass printing designs, wooden works as well as many other things were conducted, and it was a Skill India and Make in India based program.

It is the best college in Kolkata to take admission in the B.Sc. geography Hons course.
Placements: You can't get placed by pursuing a B.Sc. geography hons course, but you can attempt the competitive exam very well by following this course. The placement rate in this college is over 50%. Top hiring companies are Birla Group, Reliance, Genpact, ICICI Bank, Policy Bazar, etc. The salary package offered is around 4 LPA. The average salary offered is around Rs. 12,000 to 15,000 per month. With their experience and expertise, students can earn beyond this range. The college offers internships for one-year full-time internships to students in Deutsche Bank, Morgan Stanley, etc. Around 20% of students get their chance. They provide multiple job roles. I am very satisfied, but this is a normal graduation college, so you can't expect very much from them.
Infrastructure:
Faculty: All teachers are very helpful and experienced. We can gain much knowledge from our teachers. Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. I am impressed. Semester exams are easy for students because teachers guide them. They provide all notes. If students get 20 out of 65, then they pass. Teachers are very polite and down-to-earth, and I am very grateful.
Other: I chose this course because it has many opportunities to get a job in this competitive society. The course is very easy. You can instead do an M.Sc. I thank our teachers' guidance.
