Is BE/BTech at Vikas College of Engineering and Technology Worth the Investment?

Based on the reviews and feedback from current and former students, here's a summary of the pros and cons:

    Infrastructure and Maintenance:
    * The college has an average infrastructure, with good classrooms, labs, and libraries.
    * However, hostel facilities are limited, and maintenance could be improved.
    * Free Wi-Fi is available, but connectivity issues may arise.

    Faculty and Teaching:
    * Most students agree that teachers are helpful, knowledgeable, and supportive.
    * Some faculty members might be struggling to teach due to lack of recent industry exposure.
    * Course curriculum is generally considered relevant and industry-oriented.

    Placement and Career Opportunities:
    * Around 40-60% of students reportedly get placed in campus drives.
    * Top companies like TCS, Infosys, and Wipro recruit students.
    * Salary packages range from 2-6 LPA, depending on the company and branch.
    * Internship opportunities are available, with 20-50% of students participating.

    Other Aspects:
    * Festivals and events are organized regularly, providing a lively campus atmosphere.
    * Library resources are adequate, although not extensive.
    * Limited facilities for extracurricular activities.

Overall, while Vikas College of Engineering and Technology has its strengths (good faculty, relevant curriculum), it falls short in areas like infrastructure, maintenance, and hostel facilities. Vikas College of Engineering and Technology is the best college for the less privileged.
Placements: In my college, there are almost 40 to 50% of people getting campus selection. The highest package is around 4 to 5 lakhs, and the lowest package is around 2 to 2.5 lakhs. There are many companies visiting the college. All types of courses and branches are available here.
Infrastructure: When it comes to infrastructure and maintenance, I feel like it is okay. The hostel facilities are good, but maintenance is sometimes not up to the mark. However, the labs, Wi-Fi, and classrooms are good. The campus is nice, and the environment is positive. The food is also good—not bad.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, and the faculty is both qualified and capable. The teaching is good. Yes, we are ready for the industry. The pass percentage is also good, with about 70 to 80% of students passing the semesters. Invigilation is also nice and strict.
Other: I chose this college because of the demand for this course in present days, and I have no suggestions for improvement. There are many events for skill development at our college.

Satisfied with our college and its good placement cell.
Placements: Around 40% of students got placed in campus interviews. The highest salary package is 8 LPA, the lowest salary package is 3.5 LPA, and the average salary package is 4-5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, IBM, Accenture, Ugam Solutions, Hexaware, and many more. About 20% of students got internships in small companies. The roles offered in our course are data analyst and software engineer.
Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi facilities with good internet speed. We have 6 labs, and each lab has Wi-Fi, printers, and scanners. There is a server room present, which handles all machines present in the 6 labs. Our college has a library. Projectors are available for presentations, workshops, and seminars.
Faculty: Satisfied with our college and the placement cell. They always try to provide better placements and bring in the best companies for us. I chose the information technology course because this is booming nowadays. Our college doesn't have a hostel. But we have a great canteen and a great campus. Our college fests are great. You can get fee benefits according to the category. Student section services are good in our college. The campus is beautiful.
Other: Our faculty members are caring and knowledgeable. They always try to provide us with the best knowledge. They are supportive, and their teaching quality is good. Our curriculum is quite better because we have the basic knowledge of industries, which is covered in our curriculum. Semester exams are good. The passing percentage is 70-80%.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the college management.
Placements: I have completed my graduation in 2022 in electronics and communication engineering. In our batch, only 10% of placements are offered in our batch. The highest package offered is 6 LPA to a student in off-campus placements. The lowest package offered is 1.4 LPA in campus placements. The recruiting companies for my course are start-ups.
Infrastructure: In our course of electronics and communication engineering, we didn't have qualified staff to teach us, and there are no facilities like a good library or labs with minimum equipment for practicals. We have labs but with average systems. There is no Wi-Fi. There aren't even minimum facilities like drinking water in the hostel, neat rooms and restrooms. The mess food is not eatable, and the quality is very bad. There is no sports ground.
Faculty: The faculty for our course are not much good. They just teach the syllabus, and they are not interested in making students learn something new. They are just qualified and knowledgeable, but they don't share their knowledge with students. We aren't taken for industry visits or given projects to make us ready for the industry.
