I am not satisfied with our college.

Placements: There is a placement cell inside our college. Many multinational companies arrange placement interviews inside our college, but I don't know much about it. Due to the Covid-19 issues, now the placements have been stopped. However, it will restart as soon as possible.

Infrastructure: There are good buildings and infrastructure inside our college. The hostel facility is provided. There are specific laboratories for physics, chemistry and biology subjects. There is a sports centre, and one of the main best things here is Chomsky Centre. Our college is also well occupied with a huge library.

Faculty: As it is an autonomous college, the semester examinations are conducted regularly. There are internal examinations to assess students. There are highly qualified teachers, and they have vast knowledge in their subject. But they are not kind and helpful. Many of them bring immense pressure to students.

Other: It is one of the oldest and the finest colleges in Kerala. This college is known for sports events, but it is not a socially committed college. Our college doesn't encourage us to learn beyond books.

Vimala college thrissur Kerala.

Placements: When I was studying, there was about 40% of students in my college for studying my course. The top recruiters were ICICI Bank, South Indian Bank, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The placement was visited by top recruiters like Goan institutes, Infosys. Roles offered was teacher, journalist, writer etc.

Infrastructure: In the library, there were so many books. The food served in canteen was good. There was a badminton court, tennis court, etc. Medical facilities were also good.

Faculty: Yes, the teachers were highly qualified. The teachers in my college were helpful. Their teaching quality is so nice. As per my opinion, it will make students industry-ready. The semester exams were not that difficult but okay. At least 50% of marks were needed.

What is the eligibility to get admission to various courses in Vimala College?

Eligibility to get admission in Vimala College UG courses are Class 12 from a Kerala State Board/ equivalent. PG courses admission requires minimum 50% to 55% aggregate in the graduation with relevant subjects. MSW admission requires 50% in UG degree along with the entrance score, GD & PI.
