B.Com. in Computer Application - Batch of 2024
2.2

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty and college friends.
Placements: 50% of students are placed in the B.Com course, Computer course, and other additional courses. No recruitment, only TNMB selects students from the B.Com course. No internships in college. Other courses have an 80-hour internship and require submitting a project and certificate.
Infrastructure: Yes, facilities and students are using Wi-Fi in the library. Most students and staff use good quality study materials in the library. The canteen is okay, but there is no quality food, and much of it is wasted and thrown in the dustbin. The B.Com with Computer Application SF department classroom is very poorly maintained.
Faculty: The teachers are good, but one or two teachers do not support students in class very well. There are 6 semesters in the college UG course, with 1 semester consisting of 90 working days. Teaching is done using Xerox papers, and no one uses a book that is fully useful for computer applications. There are very special teachers in our college.

Amazing college and friendly staffs.
Placements: 1) 30% of students are placed.
2) 15000 - 30000 is the average package.
3) Saravana stores, TCS, some startup companies, etc., are the top recruiters.
Mainly, my course offers bank jobs. If any doubt, call our college staff member, Pavala Kumar. He is managing the placements and courses. I am working in Chennai. Many companies comes to the campus.
Infrastructure: Many facilities are there in my college. But food quality is average. The environment is very nice. The canteen is also very nice. Sports are mostly overrated to the sports. If you are into sports, you can take OD and go for the practice. Our sports sir is very helpful to the players.
Faculty: Yes, the pass percentage is above 40%. They cover all subjects and extra knowledge subjects in the B.Com course, like environmental study, employability skills, etc. Yes, the question papers are tough. But all syllabus are conformably covered by the staff.
Other: No.

Really affordable price but not having value for education.
Placements: Nearly 30% of students were placed per year. Packages range from the lowest 12k to up to 60k. Top recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Dmart, TMB, SBI, Maruti Suzuki, etc. Up to 3% of students are placed in top companies, and the rest in mid companies. Top roles include management head, clerk, employee, office manager, etc.
Infrastructure: My B.Com Department has a lot of faculty and some discomforts. Facilities include a depth library, free Wi-Fi, computer lab, spacious classrooms, cooling water, and normal water supply. Discomforts include the electric fans that make students sweat. Sometimes bad smells affect students. The food quality of the hostel is average but eatable. The canteen food has no much more menu, and with only one canteen for the whole college, it creates huge queues and discomfort. Medical facilities are good, and sports events are conducted regularly.
Faculty: The teaching qualities are well, good, and caring. There are many well-experienced teachers in my department. I am in my 2nd year but still haven't gone for an industrial visit. The pass mark was 40 in semester exams, and the questions were tougher, making students fail and struggle with arrears.
Other: I chose the course only for the lower fees compared to other courses because I have no money to study better courses. Providing industrial visits may help improve knowledge in a practical environment. Many events are conducted, about 20-25 per year. The crowd of the college is huge, nearly 4k to 5k students in a single campus. They do not provide scholarships but help to avail scholarships from the government.

It is a great college in terms of education in Virudhunagar.
Placements: Almost 85% of students got placed in our college. The salary package offered ranges between 50 LPA - 75 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Ramco and IDFC. Almost 50% of students got internships in companies. Internships were very useful.
Infrastructure: Our college provided all facilities like Wi-Fi, classrooms, a library, a bus facility, medical facilities, a ground, first aid, very good sports, etc. The food served in the canteen and hostel was good.
Faculty: All professors have very good teaching skills. They are very helpful and very kind. Their teaching skills are very useful for our course in our college. We have two semesters every year. The pass percentage for UG courses is 35% and for PG courses is 70%.
Other: It is the best college in all aspects in Virudhunagar. All courses are good in our college.

Other: Traditional college that have history of more than 100 years in education. Well trained staffs and good amber surroundings. Such a neat and clean vast are of campus, nearly 2 km of land acquired by college. Every department is individually built in airy old building, but strong and eye catchy ones. Seating are more spacious and class rooms are very big when compare to modern day colleges. Good value for your studies and money. Clean and independent hostels for both genders. U must join this college if it’s near you for your arts & science degrees. But not preferable for MBA or MCA.

Review of Virudhunagar Hindu Nadars' Senthikumara Nadar College.
Placements: I'm in Virudhunagar. No package is offered in my course. Above 70 percent get to go for internships. Many MNC companies are coming to my college. TATA companies are very frequent. I am very proud to be in my college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure provided is average. Classrooms are well-maintained, but the Wi-Fi is often unreliable, which affects students' productivity. The library has a good collection of books, but it needs more digital resources. Hostel facilities are functional, but the rooms are small, and basic amenities like clean washrooms and proper ventilation need improvement. The quality of food in the mess is average, with limited variety. Sports and recreational activities are minimal, which can be disappointing for students looking for extracurricular engagement.
Faculty: The teachers are moderately helpful and qualified, but sometimes their teaching methods lack practical examples. The curriculum is somewhat relevant but needs updating to make students more industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult, with a good pass percentage.
