Review of Viswabharathi Medical College and General Hospital.
Placements: The highest package is 1 crore 35 lacs for the MBBS course. It is not worth joining this college because of poor infrastructure, and most of the accidents occur in this area of our college. There is no proper road or transport; recently an accident occurred on our college road, and two students are in critical condition.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is very poor. The building is weak, and there are no proper drinking facilities for water; there is only one water fridge for the whole campus and hostel. There is no proper road for transportation. Most of the accidents occur near our college.
Faculty: The faculty is average. There is no proper teaching, and the pass percentage is very low compared to other colleges. No extracurricular activities are done in this college infrastructure, and most of the accidents occur in this area of our college with no proper road or transport. Recently an accident occurred on our college road; two students are in critical condition.
Other: No extracurricular activities are done.

It is a good college with great amenities.
Placements: The placement rate has increased a lot since last year despite covid. The highest package offered was around 50 LPA (off-campus) and 22 LPA (on-campus). The average package is 10 LPA. Everyone who registered in the placement cell got placed on campus.
Infrastructure: The campus is great and has all the required facilities. The classrooms are good and clean. The library and laboratories are satisfying. There is a football ground, badminton court, basketball court, volleyball court and a gym as well. Campus and living spaces are clean and hygienic.
Faculty: Despite pandemic, there are online events, webinars, sessions, field visits, courses etc. Even in such tough situations, the students and faculty are well connected with each other with an uninterrupted flow of knowledge. In short, the college is good for academics as well as extracurricular activities, which help us in the overall development. Faculty are good, and the curriculum is good. Exams are well planned.
Other: Events are not frequent, but the fests are okay. The campus crowd is good. Connectivity is good. Scholarships are available.

Good PG seats, okay infrastructure, and facilities in the hostel.
Placements: 150 students were enrolled, and we were paid only 15,000 for our internship, which is actually very less for the work we have been doing. Category A gets almost 100 percent of the amount, while B and C categories receive a little less for their internships. There are also not many patients.
Infrastructure: The hostel is good, but we don’t have a good network connection as it is on the outskirts of town. The hostel is okay with bad water supply but has good washrooms. The single rooms are good, though the fees are a little high. Overall, I would rate it a 5/8.
Faculty: The teachers are really good and knowledgeable; they are well-trained, mostly from KMC Kurnool. The education is fine, and the course is relevant. The semester exams are held every three months, and the papers are okay, but the correction can be a bit strict. We have weekend exams.
Other: I wanted to become a dermatologist and was also somewhat good at math, so I joined MBBS. We don’t have many fests, but the crowd is nice. The college has open gates, and the campus surroundings are pleasant.

Absolutely satisfied because of my friends and some faculty.
Placements: As we are medical colleges no companies would recruit us. All students prefer and get prepared for PG seats.
Infrastructure: Our facility is good and infrastructure is very bad, it should develop very well and labs are not bad.
Quality of food is bad in our college mess.
No sport events are held in our college.
Faculty: Our teachers are helpful at all time.
They are well qualified and knowledgeable. Some faculty teaching level is different and some are bad.
Course curriculum is relevant and it make us ready for the profession.
Other: This course is my passion.
My college has to be developed. Events are very less.

Our college has poorly developed constructions.
Placements: Minimum salary packages are offered here, So I suggest you to join in other colleges which provide better internship facilities and salaries. In the next year, there will be very low admissions for PG. However, there are good staff members, but the management lack money to develop the college.
Infrastructure: The hostel is good here, but the fee is very high for many students to afford. Facilities like triple, double and single sharing rooms are available, but the mess is one of the worst things in this college. However, the breakfast served is better, and only the dinner is bad. Volleyball, football, cricket and badminton courts are available here.
Faculty: Teachers are good and best in our college, and some of them are from other government colleges. But salaries are not offered to teachers for a long time, which is a huge problem for them to teach in college. So, many good staff members have resigned from our college due to not getting salaries regularly.
Other: I have a passion for pursuing a medical degree, so I have chosen it. Our college has a small ground, and only two fests are organised up to now. You may see fests very rarely.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: 99% of students were placed in the MBBS course. The highest package is 6 Lacs per month, and the lowest is 80,000 rupees per month. I don't know how many companies are recruiting for my course, but 98% of students got internships in other private hospitals. The top role is working in the oncology department.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not too bad, but okay. Facilities are good, with good labs, classrooms, and a library. No Wi-Fi is available here in this college. Hostel facilities are good, but the fee for the hostel is not worthy. My college mess is very good, and it’s really worthy of your money.
Faculty: The professors are more helpful and affectionate towards students. Very good and qualified faculty are there. The quality is very good. The course curriculum is relevant and makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams were a little bit difficult, and the pass percentage is 94%.
Other: I chose this course because of my passion to save people. The best thing about my course is to save lives and treat everyone equally. I wish to improve more technology in the operation theatre.
