Review of VIT Business School, Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore.

Placements: Placements in BBA from VIT, Vellore are not on par with the institutes like Jain and Christ. If you are someone looking to get placed right after your degree with a good salary, then you shouldn't be doing BBA from VIT. Placements are not at the same level as those of engineering students. The average salary package offered to students is 2.4 LPA to 3.6 LPA. When compared to other institutes, it is definitely on the lower side. VIT is primarily known as an engineering institute, and even a lot o...

I am satisfied with this college.

Placements: There are no top companies that visit our college to hire students but the level of the salary package depends on students' performance and hard work. If you want, you can sit for placements. Otherwise, you can opt for higher studies. Students can also get decent salary packages in this course.

Our college offers amazing academics.

Placements: The BBA course in our college is great. It is a 3-year degree course. At the end of the 1st year and 2nd year, there is a mandatory internship of 4 weeks. Students can join the company they want or the college can also provide some companies.

It provides good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Placements are good, especially for marketing and sales aspirants. Since students have done varieties of internships the chances of getting recruited increase simultaneously. Since I am a 2nd-year student of the online batch I cannot provide much information regarding the campus placements.

A place to learn, a chance to grow - Best experience of my life.

Placements: VIT is primarily an Engineering college. Although it doesn't guarantee placements for BBA students, we were the first batch where placements were offered. Majority of the students joined their own family business. About 10 percent of the students sat for placements and most of them were successfully placed. The rest either took a break or joined for a Masters course. The highest package offered was about 3 LPA, which is great, considering it's a non-technical course. BNP Paribas was the top recr...
