    {Source: B.Com students & alumni}

    Placement Cell Assistance

Based on the reviews provided, here's what students have shared about the placement cell assistance at Vivekananda College:

    * Limited activity: Many students reported that the placement cell is inactive, with only occasional visits from companies, resulting in limited job opportunities.
    * Fewer placements: Students mentioned that fewer students get placed compared to other colleges, with some reporting that only around 10-20% of students are placed annually.

    Really good infrastructure.
Placements: Our batch is from the 2022–2023 B.Com. Many students get placed. The average package is 50,000 to 200,000. Many companies recruited students, like Datsme, KPMG, and Professional Utilities. A total of 30% of students get internships.
Infrastructure: The college does not provide hostel facilities. The college infrastructure is good. Every department has a different building. There is no Wi-Fi facility in the library. There are four labs; only two are good. The college canteen is very hygienic.
Faculty: The faculty of this college is nice. The teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. They teach very well. Semester exams are not too difficult, and the pass percentage is 36%. The total theory marks are 90, and 60 marks are for internals, which are given by our course teachers.
Other: I like accounting; that's why I chose B.Com. The best thing about my course is that I can easily differentiate between wasting money and investing money. Now I can easily invest money and also advise my parents which investments are good or bad. However, the college should also give practical knowledge to students, like about Bitcoin and demat accounts. There are no scholarship facilities.

    College for Non-Delhites.
Placements: I guess 25 students got placed this year with an average package of 5 LPA. The companies were Planet Spark and Bank of America. They also provide internships in INGLU and offer many workshops and skill development sessions; there are certificates for attending these.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is amazing; they have a very big library. The canteen food is not good; it's too costly and not worth it. There is no hostel facility. The classrooms are not good; there is no AC facility, and there are two auditoriums, only one of which is working. Overall, it's an average college.
Faculty: The faculty is average; they don't give good marks in internal assessments. They ask you to maintain notebooks like school students, and they are very strict about attendance. Teachers don't conduct timely class tests; it totally depends on their mood whether they have to take them or not.

    Story of vivekananda mahila college.
Placements: There are few placements my course anyway and being an off campus college there are very few placements in my college. Maximum students got internship from my course because being an government college it gives internship opportunities to almost all students.
Infrastructure: There are good infrastructure in my college. Also there is a gym. Students are not provided with Wi-Fi also the network connection is very poor in classes. Library have almost all books and classes are good. There is no cleanliness in washrooms. My college provide hostels. The canteen food is not very tasty. There is no medical facilities provided by my college to students.
Faculty: Some teachers are helpful and appreciate students while some teachers use to motivate students. They even don't clear doubts of students. Teachers are knowledgeable and qualified as well. Semesters exams are medium level, to score a good CGPA yuu to study very hard.
Other: I have chosen this course because it will help me in CA as want to pursue CA and the course syllabus are somewhere similar in CA. I wish if there would be more placements as there few or negligible placements iny college. Events and fests are very good.

College life is best and with friends it is super best
Placements: Around 80% of students get selected for placements. The highest package offered is 10 LPA, the average package is 6 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. The top companies that visit our college include Accenture and Asian Paints. The college also offers internships, but not every student is selected as a strong resume and CV are necessary.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure, including free Wi-Fi, a well-stocked library, and an excellent computer lab. Medical facilities, sports facilities, NCC, and a canteen with affordable food options are also available.
Faculty: There are 23 courses offered in our college, with six semesters and two exams each year. The teaching is moderate, and teachers use techniques like smart boards and provide study material. They also assign projects and assignments.
Other: Many fests are conducted, and there are societies where students can participate to gain knowledge and skills. Free medical check-ups and extracurricular activities are also provided.

    Boring life during graduation.
Placements: We have two sections of B.Com (Hons), each containing 40-50 girls. Our college doesn't provide placements in the B.Com (Hons) course. Other courses also don't have placements. About 30% of students do internships from other companies, not from our college. Our college doesn't have internship facilities.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi in our college. Library's infrastructure is good, but it doesn't have enough study material for students. Classrooms are good enough for seating. Availability of food in the canteen is nice, offering items like chili potato, idli sambar, patties, etc. Sports facilities are very minimal.
Faculty: Faculty members are qualified and helpful. Teaching quality is average, as they assume that students have already studied the chapters. They teach very quickly, aiming to complete syllabus in a month or two. Semester exams are moderate, depending on student. Pass percentage is around 85%-90%.
